Before they even touched my car, they tried to charge me almost $300. For a Civic. After we questioned why it was so expensive and reminded them that the alignment was included with the oil change, they suddenly lowered the price. That alone made me question how they do business. The real problem started after I left. As soon as I turned out of their parking lot, my car started making loud scraping noises. The skid plate underneath my car was hanging down and dragging across the road. It became damaged so badly that we had to pull over and zip tie it just to make it back to the shop safely. When we returned, they immediately denied responsibility. Instead of taking ownership or even looking into what happened, they blamed me and insisted it was not their fault even though my car had absolutely no issues before they worked on it. I asked why they would not replace a skid plate that they had clearly damaged. It is literally a $30 to $40 part. The only answer I received was, "Because no." No explanation. No apology. Just "because no." We asked to speak with a manager. Kyran claimed he was the assistant manager, but he could not answer a single question. Every answer was, "I have to call my manager." While he was supposedly calling the manager, he was standing in the back on social media with the technicians hiding from us. When I asked if he had actually spoken to the manager, he told me he could not get him on the phone. The entire interaction felt dishonest and completely unprofessional. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. They overquoted a basic service, damaged my vehicle, refused to take responsibility, refused to replace a cheap part they damaged, and then acted like I was the problem. If this is how they treat customers over something as simple as an oil change, I cannot imagine trusting them with any major repair. There is absolutely no accountability here. Do yourself a favor and take your car somewhere that values honesty, professionalism, and customer service because you will not find any of those things at this location.

He tried to sell me vehicles with issues which he knew about and tried to pull one over on me. He moved to the high rent district and left his honesty at his prior location. I have used Miller's twice and their honesty is the best I have ever experienced. I am most impressed with this father son business. I highly recommend this business. Super friendly, very understanding, and they didn't shame me at all when I described the assortment of alarming noises that had been coming from my undercarriage. Turns out that a quick stop in the 895 tunnel that very morning was the final death blow for brakes that were already on the brink of extinction, but I got there safe and sound and confidently dropped off my Jeep. As a previous reviewer mentioned, they will take you to work (and pick you up after your service is complete!) if you're close by. I drove away from Prince's (and stopped, as expected, without any grinding of metal on metal) with a huge grin on my face in spite of having just handed over a good chunk of my paycheck, ready to face the afternoon's stop and go traffic. Finally, eight years after moving to Baltimore, I have a local-ish shop that I can trust with my vehicle, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a good, honest mechanic who treats everyone fairly, regardless of sex. If you're looking for an honest repairman that's not going to try to get more money from you for car repair and that is reasonable Prince Tire and Auto is your place. I've spent my whole life doing my own car repairs, so it's rare that I ask someone else to help me…read more I don't trust repair shops, and I've specifically had bad luck in Glen Burnie before. Now, let me tell you why they have earned five stars from me (and I do not normally write reviews.) I called them on Day 1 and asked how much I'd be looking at for some exhaust repairs. As expected, they told me to bring it in and let them have the chance to give me an accurate estimate. Day 2, I picked up the parts that I already knew I needed and drove over to get an estimate. The shop told me that there is a $75 minimum on labor costs, so that's what they would have to charge me. Instead of walking away, I realized that I have a lot more work that needs to be done and asked if we can find a deal that makes me feel like it's worth it to spend more, but have more services performed. They gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, so I told them that I would be back in the morning. In the end, their mechanic (Justin) installed an exhaust seal and ABS sensor, and replaced a sway bar bushing and some oil cooler line fittings. I bought my car with 180,000 miles on it, and it currently has 215,000 miles logged. Post-repair, my car has never run as smoothly as long as I've owned it! To say that I am happy is an understatement; I am ecstatic! Justin is the man, and Rich knows how to run a shop effectively. Some people would end with saying that the mechanical aspects were as expected and that the price was appropriate. I had the pleasure, and yes, it actually was a pleasure, of sitting in their waiting room from 10 AM until 6 PM. This wait was completely my own fault, as I intended to get there when they opened at 7:30 AM and I didn't get there until 10. They offered multiple times to drive me home and let me wait in comfort, but I wanted to just wait on my car. There is a great diner next door with wifi access that allowed me to sit at the bar and sip on tea for a while, but I felt bad doing this for multiple hours and I went back to the waiting room. I spent roughly six hours sitting in their waiting room and speaking on and off with their manager, Rich. I witnessed people calling in and yelling at him about things that made absolutely no sense, and I watched him respond with professionalism and poise. I watched Justin get frustrated with a car that seemed to break more every time he touched it. I watched customers come in and leave, some without a problem and some with issues to address. What I observed is that some people just argue about cost no matter what; even if they are getting a great deal. The staff here was 100% customer service oriented. They were incredible. They were so incredible that I plan on going back in a couple of weeks to have more repairs performed that were optional recommendations. Heck, they weren't even recommendations. I asked Justin to tell me everything that he saw that would help me extend the life of my vehicle and he went through it and told me. The parts are on order now. Rich saw that I was trying to work remotely and allowed me to use one of their phone lines when I could not be on my cell phone and work on my laptop at the same time. I was able to effectively work remotely and not miss a day of work because they were willing to work with me. I cannot recommend this shop enough. I have never found a commercial chain store that I felt was giving me the complete truth... until now. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a chance. Ask for Rich. Ask for Justin. There are others that I am sure are just as competent, but these two know what's up!

I dropped off my car and I always get a little uneasy at auto shops cause you feel like you're vulnerable but my experience was amazing. I checked in and waited in the lobby. They have free water, snacks and coffee. They came up to me shortly after and said that my sensor wasn't working and there was no pressure on getting it replaced. They said it would cost about $200 to fix and it actually was the price I was expecting if that was the issue. I just didn't want to pay that for a sensor. And the mechanic told me that he doesn't blame me. I asked how much it would be and he said nothing. They even adjusted my tire pressure since some were off due to filling it with air at the gas stations and they aren't the most accurate. I really wasn't expecting this kind of service and would come back to this place in the future for services to my vehicle. Awesome place!

They offer a convenient after-hours drop-off box, a nice waiting area, and a location right off a major beltway. I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the parking lot and repair facility were. With over 35 years in business, they clearly have an established presence in the community. My main concern was the cost of diagnostics and repairs. I was quoted approximately $900 for diagnostics and the recommended work, with individual diagnostic charges ranging from about $160-$200 (see attached estimate). After getting additional estimates, I found a local garage that was able to complete ALL the repairs for about the same price as Caton Auto Clinic's original quote. Since my son's car was older, the repair cost was approaching the overall value of the vehicle, so I had to carefully consider whether the expense made sense. I understand that quality service and experienced technicians come at a cost, but I recommend asking for a detailed estimate and clarifying all diagnostic fees upfront before authorizing any work. I also noticed their billboard advertising a $79.99 oil change, which seems like a great deal in today's market! Overall, Caton Auto Clinic has a lot of positives, including friendly customer service, a clean facility, and a convenient location , coffee area . If I had a newer car, I would absolutely consider using them. For an older vehicle, however, I would recommend comparing estimates first to make sure the cost of repairs is worthwhile.
