Please do not bring your car here! This place is crooked. I asked if they could look at a windshield wiper that was not working. The service provider popped off my windshield wiper and showed me how it was damaged. I asked if they had new ones the could replace it with. He said no and popped it back on, then told me I was due for an inspection. I had the inspection done. When I walked into to pay for it, they told me they were charging me $140 on top of the service inspection. I asked why, when my wiper wasn't replaced. I also never consented to any service. The female cashier looked sheepish and shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know why, then said she can give me a $20 discount, then motioned me out of the store . Have both of my older cars serviced here. 2012 civic and 2010 rogue. They treat me extremely fair. Perform the services requested, unless it doesn't need done. (Requested full brakes on civic, upon inspection, decided only to change fronts, and clean rear and charged accordingly). They are prompt, and their charges are very fair. also when doing oil on rogue, inspected rest of car and found front axle needed replaced. Did it quickly and at a very fair price. I highly recommend. Getting the cars serviced generally is a hassle. These guys make it easy. Honest, fair, good price, and great work. What else is there? Oh? Gas here was advertised on Google maps as $2.40 but it was actually $2.49. Either way the prices beat the $2.90 average for the area. I wanted to vacuum my car but one of the employees was parked in the only spot that the vacuum hose could reach. Thankfully he noticed I was looking to vacuum my vehicle and moved his spot immediately. Not sure why he parked there in the first place but I'm glad to leave with a clean interior. read more

My sister took her car to get the safety inspection done. The guy at the register tried to charge her $100 for the service that costs $20. She pointed out that it said $20 on a big sign outside. His response "oh you saw the sign." So yeah, don't come to this shop to do any repairs or inspections because they will try to blatantly overcharge you, especially if you're a woman. This gas station is located kind of on the corner of two high traffic intersections which makes it a pain to get in and out of but it does offer pretty cheap gas. I've visited this station once and it was only for gas and my experience was okay. There are reports of credit card scammers targeting this location, so avoid if you can. I have never used the service station here but from the looks of it, it seems very tough to navigate. This area is so congested that it makes customers frustrating. There's also only 4 pumps, which doesn't improve the situation. read more

Do not get your safety and emissions testing there. I will not even get gas there after today. The employees have no respect for anyone's time. I took my car there today around 11:30 AM and there was one car in front of me for the emissions and safety tests. They told me it would be about 1 hour and 20 minutes because it was 45 minutes per car. I filled out a form and left my key with them. I waited in the nearby coffee shop. After 1 hour and 20 minutes I came back. My truck was where I left it with the paperwork inside. I went in and asked the guy there if they were finished. He had no idea and was the only one there. He had to call the guys who were supposed to do the testing. It turns out they had gone on lunch and hadn't even started on the test on my truck. If they had let me know, I could have come back later, or gone home to get my computer so that I could work while I was waiting. But due to their lack of communication I wasted time. Rather than wait longer for people who clearly do not respect their customers, I left. I told them I will never come back. If you value your time, do not go to this place for your emissions and safety testing. read more

WASHINGTON -- Fairfax County police are asking consumers to check their credit cards statements after card skimmers were found at eight gas stations in the county. Financial crimes detectives said the most recent skimmer was discovered this week at a Wal-Mart on Richmond Highway near Alexandria. Fairfax County police don't yet know if the skimmers are linked, but suspect that the locations were targeted because the older model pumps made it easier to install the skimming devices. Thieves used some stolen credit information to withdraw cash from ATMs, investigators said in a statement. They ask if consumers know anything about the scam or believe their credit might be compromised from a skimmer to call Fairfax Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477). Run..Run.. Run.. from this Exxon gas station located at 6948 S. Kings Highway, Alexandria VA 22310. I arrived at this station on November 23, 2018 at approximately 10:11am. Their was another car in front of me so, I went inside and spoke to the cashier "Khan" and asked her if state inspections were being performed today, she said, " Yes, but the inspector had to take his wife to a doctor's apportionment and he will be back in 15 minutes". The posted hours for state inspections are 8am-4pm Mon- Fri and 8am-4pm on Saturday. 35 minutes later, I asked "Khan" where the inspector is, she proceeds to call him on the phone and he tells her he will be there in 20 minutes. 20 more minutes pass and "Khan" calls him yet a third time and he says he is coming, he's on 95 stuck in traffic. At this point, I have waited an hour for a state inspection. "Khan" state she is mad too, she's losing business because he wasn't there and he is the only one certified who can perform the state inspection but he had to take his wife to a doctor's appointment. I told her that, I am a customer and I dont have anything to do with him and his personal issues. 15 more minutes go by and he finally shows up at 11:30am, I get my car inspected and I leave at 11:45am- an hour and 30 minutes later. As I am waiting this entire time, "Khan" thinks its a great idea to blare a movie and watch it!!! The inspector NEVER apologized for anything!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Exxon at the intersection of King and Telegraph. The representative, I think he was the service manager (in a blue collared shirt), was in the back of the garage when I approached the station. He walked out and I asked him if he could look at my tires. I have two tires that are slowly losing air. Initially he walked past me, appearing to completely ignore me, then asked as he was walking away to another vehicle, "When?". I responded, "I am asking when. When can you look at them?" He continued to walk away from me toward another vehicle in the lot and didn't answer. His inattention, slow sulking walk and general attitude made it clear I should look elsewhere for service. I said, "Thanks. Never mind." And I climbed back into my F150. This got his attention and he very quickly came back over to my truck as I climbed in. He proceeded to OPEN THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR OF MY TRUCK after I climbed in and closed it. I told him, "thanks, never mind." Again, and attempted to close the door. He held open my truck door and asked, "Which tires?" I said, "Please let go of my door." He continued to hold my door open. I pulled it closed with effort, overcoming his resistance and catching the pen in his front pocket. He immediately became angry, said something angry and unintelligible through my door and stared aggressively at me as I drove away. As a man, I found this was totally unacceptable and aggravating. Had I been a woman, I would have found this terrifying. I can't imagine my wife and daughters having to deal with this type of behavior. DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT (at the Y intersection of Telegraph and South King). There are plenty of other service locations and gas stations in the area. Do not support this type of service and behavior. The Exxon service station is not listed on Yelp or Google. Google provides the 7-Eleven behind this Exxon. I find this suspect. Why can't I provide feedback through the two most common sites for reviews? Is it because they purposely have deleted their service station? Please do not support this type of behavior and customer service. Please patronize another service station. This business is also not BBB accredited. read more
