Recently my truck was broken into while I was in Mexico and my purse along with all of my credit cards in my bank card were stolen. This made it impossible for me to pay my storage bill when it came due. I had been on auto pay, but once the cards were killed, that was no longer relevant. Andre went way out of his way to call and remind me that the bill was due, he even let me know how many days I had to work with before a late charge would be assessed once I realize that I wasn't going to be able to use my bank card in time he immediately sent me a form which was super easy to fill out online, allowing my bank account to be linked to my auto pay, and the funds were immediately available so that my items in storage were safe and sound Andre followed up with me to make sure that I had it done if I needed any help he was there for me and just overall compassionate and understanding! I am updating my Review now because I am having a really bad…read moreexperience storing all of my expensive items there that are valued at approximately $3,000.00 for everything I own now. This is a really awful place to store my items in this Extra Space Storage Center at the Oceanside. CA location. I have been their loyal customer for one year and 4 months now. When I lived in Oceanside, CA last year on the Summer time from (June 2024 to October 2024 ) when I would make frequent trips to my storage unit this storage unit space has no air conditioning and no fresh air. I would have to open up one of the doors and walk a long way to get to my storage space unit and when I lifted up this really heavy metal door , it was extremely HOT inside my Storage Unit and I was always sweating . It's because there is no air conditioning system in all of their Storage Units. It felt like being inside a hot oven . It's an awful feeling! The metal door is very difficult to lift up, I have to use this rope that's attached to the metal door at the bottom and then put my foot on this metal plate at the bottom of this storage unit then I try to lift up the storage metal door . This door is very heavy and difficult to lift up myself since I am an older age now. I don't have a lot of strength like I used to have. That's one thing that I found a negative side to this Extra Space Storage Space Place. These are other important things I wanted to share with the public who read my Reviews. I noticed that every 3 months my Rent is increased at a very high rate without notification to me through emails or no text messages to let me know one month ahead of time that my Rent is going to be raised an extra $55.00 then I am also charge a very expensive late fee of the $40.00 that's added onto my monthly rent bill . There is a Grace Period of only 7 days later until my Rent Bill is due again every month on October 3, 2025. I signed a contract last year in May 2024. But when I called and spoke to Erika H. their Manager she told me their contract that I signed up last year Erika their manager gave me the information the fee would stay the same price for several months and would not be increased until 6 months later. I was lied to by Erika their manager. Then Erika told me their Extra Space Storage Center keeps charging their customers higher fees every 3 months without giving all of their loyal customers advance notice. I believe this Storage Facility is a very GREEDY facility. They don't care about their customers at all. I keep getting charged their late fees now there is a late fee of $55.00 that has been added onto my Regular Bill for $355.00. My normal bill used to be the $234.85. But my Rent it keeps increasing every 3 months and it's not an affordable rent price. This Extra Space Storage Facility purposely doesn't have a set price because they are overcharging me and the rest of their customers. I am going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau tomorrow morning on their www.bbb.org website. I read their is also an ongoing Lawsuit against this Company for their Unfair Business Practices in California. I will try to do my best to move my items out of this horrible Storage Facility soon.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience really deserves attention…read more I hired Two Men and a Truck for a move on June 17th, and it ended up being one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional service experiences I've ever had. The movers got into a loud, aggressive argument early in the day -- so bad that one of them ended up sitting in the truck cab for the rest of the day, leaving the crew short-handed. The remaining movers were angry, cursing constantly (about my furniture?), and continued to argue with each other throughout the day. The tension was uncomfortable, and honestly, I didn't feel safe or respected in my own home. Because they were down a person, the move ran way over their original estimate -- by 67% -- and even though they adjusted the rate, it still ended up costing far more than expected. When the company followed up for feedback, the person I spoke to was understanding and apologized sincerely. I was asked what could make it right. I said a refund. They offered $100 -- which felt inadequate -- and after I said so, they never responded again. I'm not writing this to get anyone "in trouble." I just think people deserve to know what they're signing up for. I paid for a full team and a professional experience -- and I received neither. I'm still waiting for the company to do the right thing and make this right with a proper refund.
