am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with UPS regarding my lost…read moredelivery and the complete lack of care shown by customer service. My package never arrived, and when I contacted UPS, I expected at least a level of concern, accountability, and effort to resolve the issue. Instead, what I encountered was dismissiveness and indifference. I was walked through the steps providing reassurance that my lost items would be located or compensated for, I was made to feel as though my situation did matter. Later to find out that it did not. Someone falsely filled out paperwork for me to receive a refund for much less than what I paid to have my now lost item mailed. Losing a package is already frustrating, but what makes this experience worse is the way it was handled. As a customer, I rely on UPS to not only deliver items safely but also to take responsibility when something goes wrong. In my case, there was no sense of urgency, no empathy, and lastly no return phone call to explain why he chose to rip me off.

Here are some thoughts…read more.. --I did everything in the U-Haul app, pretty easy and convenient. --About two hours before our 11am pickup, we got a text that our rental truck wasn't going to be returned on time, so they moved our pickup time back to 12:45pm. --We called and tried (unsuccessfully) to locate another truck in the area. Donna was helpful. --We happened to drive by shortly before 11 (on our way to my daughter's storage facility) and noticed a couple of 10' trucks parked out front, so I called and they said "Yes, we have one available. You can pick it up now." --When I got there, Donna got me in and out pretty quick. They had four 10' trucks sitting in the lot! --My truck looked good on the outside, but the shocks were completely shot. --Less than $40 for a one day 10' truck rental with furniture dolly. Overall, I would only marginally recommend in a pinch. Not super organized or communicative.

We've had the pleasure of working with Perfectly Placed twice now--once during a difficult…read moredownsizing move and again after relocating to a larger home--and both experiences were transformative. The first time, we called them out of desperation. We were combining two households into a smaller space and had hit a wall. Perfectly Placed brought the energy and expertise we needed to get unstuck. They helped us purge unnecessary (and often duplicate) items, came up with clever organizing solutions for our limited space, and even helped with decorating that made the home feel like us. It was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. Fast forward a year and a half: my wife was determined to have Perfectly Placed help us with our new, much bigger house--even before we packed a single box. I was more hesitant this time around, concerned about the added cost and assuming we wouldn't face the same challenges in a larger space. But my wife was so convinced of their value that she started driving for Uber to save up for it. After two unpacking days with Perfectly Placed, I can say it was absolutely the right call. We moved in over a weekend, and by Tuesday, our house was fully organized--something we could never have managed on our own, especially with my wife now 34 weeks pregnant. Perfectly Placed doesn't just organize your home--they bring peace of mind, clarity, and a sense of calm to what can otherwise be an overwhelming experience. We can't recommend them highly enough.

This company was assigned to us by Adams Van Lines. Miami, Fl. I cant comment on anything except…read moreour move and the crew that did it. They were the most unprofessional and least knowledgeable crew we have ever encountered. We have used companies that moved us from coast to coast 8 times in the last 25 years and have never seen anything like this. Once you have the movers there, nothing can be done but go with it. They were sloppy and careless beyond belief. The temps they hired to help were horrified by the crews lack of professionalism. There was considerable damage done and as they removed antiques they broke them and informed me they were already damaged. I even gave the Driver, Jose, $500 cash in hopes it would encourage him to do the right thing. I am sure he will report that to the IRS as I will claim the expense. When I called the company office they told me I should increase the insurance coverage? What? and they wanted over $4000 to up the per pound coverage. They told the office we could not get to the destination on time and that we wanted an extra day which was a lie, we got there a day early. Even the temp crew at the destination said the same thing about the unprofessional crew sent by American Central Moving to transport. Yes the contract is per pound for damage as opposed to assessing the value but carelessness and negligence like sticking a glass shelve unwrapped into a box with books and the like, yes broke it. $18. try getting a custom piece of glass for $18.00. So beware, especially if you use a broker that even has a good reputation because you are then at their mercy with whomever they assign your move. Fortunately this kind of recklessness changes the options we can pursue in spite of the contract.
