I called told them, told Philip what my dilemma was and he said no problem. They would let me know when a time would be that they could make it out. It was short notice, I just looked down the three flights of stairs and thought oh my goodness what have I done? seem like it was planned out too well for me. It took Justin and Trent 35 minutes to bring my bed up and they even set it up for me. I truly would recommend this company again. They were great to work with!!! Justin and Trent they cleaned up after themselves with all my boxes, took them to the dumpster for me. I felt blessed that they were so kind. FYI: The Door Opening dimensions on MY 10x25 unit are 8.7 feet wide & 8 feet in height. This allowed me to safely/easily store my mid-70's vintage vehicle without having to fold-in or remove the vehicle's large mirrors. (...I had to very carefully maneuver the vehicle into the unit, but the driveway area was sufficiently wide enough to allow me to accomplish this on my 1st attempt!)

05/15/2021 Update: We used them again! The team of Frank (he was the foreman for our earlier move…read moretoo--see below), Carlos, Freddy, Elijah H., Eli, and Dylan were absolutely amazing. They were extremely careful with both homes, wrapping the door frames with padding and rolling out protective mats so as not to damage the floors while walking back and forth. We had a pretty complicated move in my opinion. We were moving out of my mothers house into our own house, while subsequently moving my mother's furniture which we had put in a storage unit back into her house. Speedy provided 2 trucks, two of the guys came all the way from tri-cities! Truck/Team 1 worked on emptying my storage unit with my stuff from (kitchen, bathrooms, etc from my previous home) and loading it, Truck 2 worked on emptying my moms storage unit of furniture she had removed from her home to make space for my family. Truck 1 went directly to the new house, while Truck 2 went to my mother's house, and unloaded her furniture and put it where she asked, and then loaded all our stuff and furniture. We had my mom's big (not kid proof) couches moving out of the truck back into my moms house, and my (kid proof) couches being moved into the truck as well as my husbands office, my sewing studio, kids play room, and kids bedroom. (My moms house is big and yeah it held all that stuff!) Then they took Truck 2 over to our new house as Truck 1 was being finished and Truck 1 team then began helping Truck 2 team unload the rest. It was a LOT of work for them. They were exhausted but they all had amazing attitudes and were very careful with our stuff even at the end when they were covered in sweat and it had started to get hot outside. I am one of those people that has a hard time not working and lifting when I see others doing it and they kept telling me to take it easy. I appreciated all their hard work and if we have to move again (which we may) I will hire them a third time! :) 9/8/2020: This was a great team of movers lead by Frank for a very reasonable price. They were all young, energetic, and professional. We had two move locations, storage and our new home. I was coming from California so it was unloading a SEMI truck (independent interstate trucker hired by Magellan), that unfortunately did not have a ramp or a lift gate. I did not realize the truck had none of these things, so the guys had to physically lift everything out of the truck itself instead of use dollys. It was exhausting work, but they did it with a great attitude. They lifted my husbands big MOTORCYCLE out of the back of this truck. A motorcycle. I don't know what other movers would have done that!!!! Anybody else would have gone to get a ramp and charged me hourly for it. Not them, they together lifted the motorcycle out of the truck and set it down. It was amazing. I highly recommend them and will use them for every move!

This is a reflection on the company as a whole and the lack of consistent and timely communication. Matthieu in the office and the three movers' customer service were solid. Here's a timeline of why I would concur with Ryan F.'s response and "Stay away!" 4/21/26 Initial call with Matthieu. Calculated estimate. No problems & quite respectful. Ultimately I chose Two Men and a Truck as I thought he reflected quality service. 5/13/26: Movers called an hour before leaving. Arrived as anticipated, the 3 movers introduced themselves and off they went. Things were going well until they got to the adjustable King size bed frame from upstairs. Rather than disassemble it in the bedroom, they tried to shimmy it down a tight staircase where it got stuck. They had to disassemble it in the staircase costing them time(my money) and creating significant damage to the drywall in multiple locations. I have photos(they didn't take any-they asked, "Is the damage bad?" --good thing I was there and inspected). 5/13/26 (cont). I mentioned to the crew that I had to remove a door to get an oversized chair into the master bedroom. They did not heed my advice and tried everything to get the chair out from the bottom of the tight staircase. Again more time(my money) and they ultimately removed the door. The rest of the move went without a hitch. Accidents happen and since I bought the insurance, I knew it would be addressed. I texted the photos of the damage to the lead mover who passed it on to his superior. THE BIGGEST ISSUES I HAVE WITH THIS COMPANY are as follows: 5/14/26: KAYLOB P called asking about the move. I told him about the damage and added time. I was instructed to fill out a form, that wasn't user friendly & had typos BTW. I had 10 days to complete the task. (9 minutes of my time) 5/22/26: Form was completed w/another set of 7 photos of the damage. I also asked for financial compensation for the added time it took to move(see aforementioned) 5/26/26: I called Kaylob about follow-up (6 minutes time) 5/27/26: Kaylob wrote email saying he'd call tomorrow w/update (INCLUDING my financial request) 5/28/26: Kaylob called asking for new owners #-said I'd get it (1 min.) 5/29/26: Texted Kaylob the new owner's phone # and for him to update me. 6/1/26: Emailed, checking whether he received the phone #. NO RESPONSE 6/4/26: WROTE ANOTHER EMAIL saying I didn't hear from 6/1 email. "Updates would be appreciated" I said. 6/5/26: I called since I hadn't heard back FROM PREVIOUS 2 emails. Inquired about progress on the repairs and financial compensation. Kaylob said his superiors were working on it. Kaylob had the new owners phone # for a WEEK (9 minutes) 6/10/26: I emailed new owners inquiring about contact from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK. He said, "No one has contacted me at all about the repair work for the drywall yet." THAT'S BEEN 13 DAYS W/O CONTACTING THE OWNERS. **Which brings me to this review. (90 minutes+ time reviewing notes and composing) I told Kaylob that I had NO intention of writing a negative review. I wanted to handle this in-house.
