The team confirmed all the details ahead of time, including my request to move over 10 pieces of artwork. They estimated a 5-hour move with three men, and on the day of the move, they arrived promptly at 8 AM, worked efficiently, and completed the move-out by 1 PM. The move-in process at my new home started at 1 PM and wrapped up around 3 PM. Throughout the day, the team was respectful, careful with my belongings, and truly seemed to go the extra mile. I was so appreciative of their hard work that when the team lead, Sergio, requested a cash tip, I went to the ATM and withdrew $500 -- $200 of which I gave directly to the crew as they finished up. Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a sharp turn. I placed the remaining $300 in my purse, consisting of one $100 bill and $200 in $20 bills. After noticing the sky open up around 2:30 PM with heavy rain, I felt even more sympathetic to their efforts and decided to give them an additional $100. When I went to retrieve the money, I was shocked to find my purse had been disturbed and only $100 (in 20's) remained. To make matters worse, when I returned to my old apartment to finish cleaning, I found a pile of belongings left behind. Despite paying for a full-service move, it seems the crew simply decided some of my things weren't worth taking. The lack of communication and care was beyond frustrating. And if all of that wasn't enough, after providing my email address multiple times, I still have not received an itemized receipt, invoice, or a clear breakdown of charges. The final bill came to $2,145 -- almost twice the original estimate -- leaving me furious. After deducting the $100 deposit, I owed $2,045. I understand that moving is tough and unexpected factors can arise, but the dramatic increase in cost combined with the apparent theft, lack of accountability, and poor service left a lasting impression. I cannot in good conscience recommend All My Sons dba "New City Moving." While the physical labor of the move was well done, the lack of integrity and professionalism by at least one member of the crew completely ruined the experience. If you decide to use this company, I strongly advise keeping your valuables secured, double-checking that all your belongings are loaded, documenting all interactions, and following up on the communication regarding your charges.

If you can avoid having to deal with the other employees, you should be able to have a less stressful experience. They are very dismissive, untrained, and tend to give you attitude whenever you need help. I've recently have dealt with an infestation of moths in the unit as well. Upon entry of the building there were a variety of dead bugs in the hallways around certain unit doors. Like I've said, the place has gone downhill at an alarming rate since Mike has left. Never have I had an issue with this location until now.

Access & Security: 24/7 access is available with enrollment but the standard hours were more than…read moresufficient for us. All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.

Steer clear of this company. They are a complete scam…read more Long story short, they box you into a corner and make you pay much more than your estimate. They are absolutely non responsive to inquiries regarding your goods after load up, and never respond to claims filed after delivery. The detailed story... We worked with a 3rd party moving company (Allied Transportation) that subcontracted with Rapid Relocation. We were provided a quote by Allied and informed that, the day of, Rapid Relocation would video our goods and inform us of any changes. The first tip off was the estimated START time - we were provided a window of 4 to 6pm. I've had multiple cross country pack ups, during NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. They showed up just before 6pm with only two guys (we were told there would be three). After a quick walk around (no video) we were told we had more goods than estimated, but we'd have to wait until they were completed. They didn't come with the necessary boxes (such as wardrobe and dish pack), so had to run back to the warehouse to get more. Because of the short staffing and delays, they were packing and loading until almost MIDNIGHT (which is unacceptable, my mom is 70yo). Typically there is a person inventorying boxes with colored numbered stickers to ensure your stuff stays together. I didn't realize this step was skipped until the truck was half loaded. The guy assured me he was "taking count". At the end, they increased my quote by nearly 30%. He pointed to some lines at the top of the truck and said that was how the cubic foot estimate was made. I have pictures of the truck that show there was definitely dead space. But at this point, they have your stuff hostage - what can you do? Refuse to pay and they drive off with everything? Or unload it and keep the initial deposit? It was midnight, I was exhausted, so paid and figured we'd set things straight upon delivery. While things were en route and stored, they go radio silent. We had no idea where our stuff was or when we would get it. Working through Allied got us no where. They told us we could call/text RR, which never resulted in any response. Allied also informed us we could dispute the overage by obtaining evidence at pick-up of the true cubic footage. Fast forward almost a month...our delivery is finally scheduled (so grateful to finally hear from them!!). They tell us they should be there by 5pm, but arrive closer to 7pm with only two guys. My husband was there to video tape the unloading so we could confirm they overcharged us at pack up. But payment is demanded up front, so we are again held hostage and MUST PAY. Once they open the door, we realize there are multiple shipments on the truck with no clear delineation. Because of how the boxes were labeled (or rather, not) it wasn't clear what was ours. We literally had to guess on some things, which it not acceptable. My mom's mattress and boxspring, which were wrapped at loading, were laying on the floor of a dirty truck without protection. To make matters worse, it was pouring rain. But instead of them taking boxes inside one would push my mom's items to the foot of the truck and let it get drenched while the other guy did the running. Boxes were literally disintegrating in the hallway as they were brought in, furniture was pulled apart based on how it was handled. We had to ask them to put down protection for the floors or remove their shoes (this is standard practice). We paid for a package that was to include reassembly of furniture such as the bed, but we had to haggle with the guys who did not seem to think this was their job. At the end of the day, we had numerous damaged goods and some missing items. If you go to RR website and file a claim, you are not given a claim number, their site just informs you that someone will respond in 24-48 hrs. Nothing happens. So I filed another claim, took screenshots of the claim, and send the PDF to their two email addresses. Again, no response. They also don't respond to phone/text. It's been more than a month, which is completely unacceptable. At this point, I have zero faith I'll ever hear from them. I truly believe both Allied and Rapid Relocation run a scam. You cannot reach RR directly, so I hold Allied partially responsible for this mess. Allied rejected the overage claim on behalf of RR, and say that they don't deal with claims. They wiped their hands clean of it all as soon as the move was completed. We've filed multiple complaints where we can, but it's infuriating to know companies can just take your money, damage your goods and continue to operate.

Please, for the love of God, return our bed. Or at least return our calls so we know when you will.read more
