We arrive at the facility to find our lower rate unit was broken into and are having to now move our stuff from that unit to the higher rate unit. And police report filed. We requested to have the rate remain the same as the lower rate unit since a break in is out of our control and they can't fix the unit until we vacate but Public storage refused. Aside from our unit we saw at least 4 other units that were tampered/ broken into. Do not store your belongings here.

However, my experience with YSP has been an exception to the latter. Ever since the first phone call when I set up my first two units with YSP, the staff has been exceptional in their help, advice and flexibility. I am now renting unit number five from them in my preparation to move abroad once again. They have always acted in ways that serve my best interests rather than only being concerned with their own needs as I have found other storage facilities often do. They are willing to go the extra mile to insure I want to use continue to use their facility. In my history with other storage facilities, the reverse of this attitude has often been my experience with the facility operators usually threatening the fact that they have waiting lists, yada, yada, yada. Almost forgot to mention that payments are done online and are easy to make. You really won't regret using Your Storage Place. Elray and Bill are tops in customer service and satisfaction. Ended up waiting longer for some assistance, when finally asked what the issue was by the lady up front she said "oh I can't help you haha NEXT!" The owner needs to replace the staff from the manager down, and some form of training on finishing up with one customer at a time so no one has to wait an hour and a half for items that were already paid for.
