As a disabled U.S. Marine combat veteran, I was deeply disappointed and voiced my frustration. That said, I want to personally thank Roxanne for stepping in and handling the issue with professionalism, empathy, and urgency. She listened. She understood. And most importantly--she resolved it. Roxanne's actions restored my faith in this business. Her respect for long-standing customers and her ability to take decisive action speaks volumes about her character and leadership. I attempted to return the 24' truck and auto transport when I moved to the area in August, but they do not take in trailers (probably due to the ingress). Still, I did not know this and pulled in. The owner was very nice and gave me directions to another U-Haul dealer and opened his gates so that I did not need to back out. Then a month later, I needed to rent a small trailer to move an antique sofa and U-Haul's website showed that they had one available there. I thought this was odd, so I called Pearland Storage. Again, he stated that they do not deal with trailers. He asked me where I live and where I would need to use the trailer. Then, he recommended a dealer that is close to where the sofa was located. This was more than I expected! The reason for 4 & not 5 stars is that they should be able to work with U-Haul to ensure that trailers do not show up as available in their location. Still, with this great service, I would gladly rent a storage unit from them if needed.
