If I can give them a zero, I would. This place is the worst. We had been with them for over 7 years. My fiancee was injured when a hall light exploded and the light bulb hit her head and shoulder when we were moving stuff in our unit. The staff did not care, and Marlo, one the assistant managers, was a condescending little b when I talked to her on the phone about it. Jake, the manager, did not do anything either. He stated that the department that handle this will reach out to my fiancee about the incident. We did not heard a word from them. Do not do business with these people or this company. We are planning to move out of here soon.....UPDATE.....I place a call right away to speak with Emily S. I get the condescending woman on the phone and knew right away that I got the b of New Jersey Marlo. She should do all of use a favor and get out the service industry. She is making this company a bad name. I called and left a message for Jake or Emily S to call back. Of course no call back....typical. read more

Wish 0 stars was an option! If you want to store your things in a facility with a leaky roof that will cause water damage to your belongings then this is the place for you... If you're looking for un-empathetic and un-apologetic customer service then this is the place for you... This is a publicly-traded company and member of the S&P 500 (which based on my experience is absolutely mind blowing based on how inept they are), but when it comes to treating their customers fairly, they're clearly much more interested in saving themselves a buck, then doing the right thing by their customers... Jacob the manager was great. The only thing I am upset about was the girl I spoke with at the headquarters I am guessing said the first month is free with $25 register fee and the 10×10 is $245 a month so I was like sure . But when I went to the extra space storage I was getting the locker at Jacob then told me I could get the first month free and pay $245 a month after or I could pay $165 every month without the first month free I did not know I had that option but besides that it is clean accessible and it's not even been a month but I have no other complaints read more

I had a great experience at Extra Space in North Brunswick. We rented a space for a good couple of years and found their rate raises were really reasonable. They were always very attentive the few times we needed anything. The space is super clean and well maintained. Very convenient to be able to drive your car/truck in right next to the elevator! The only thing they could do better is maybe have some kind of map or signage on the floors to give you a sense of where you are - it's a total labyrinth! read more

I recently had the worst move I've ever experienced, but thankfully I chose Extra Space. Once I got to their location it was so seamless and I was moved in and heading to lunch within an hour. I moved from a few states away and encountered every possible issue one can think of when moving. I had called ES a week before my move and not only did Chris and Jacob walk me through what renting storage space was like, they checked and double checked availability of a particular unit, they were quick to call me back and they even helped me find a location by me to sign a remote lease. These guys are the best! The facility itself is super clean and easy to navigate. Even the movers I worked with commented that this is the top storage place in the area. It's a reliable place. I got a 10x5 spot for a sofa and a few boxes and so far I had no problem. I could take the truck next to the elevator and unloading was easy. You just might want to be careful about hidden charges. They charged me $14 for renting a lock for one month! read more

I used this storage for very short time but let me say, it was one of the best and cleanest storage you can ever get. Before I rented this storage, i checked 4-5 different places near by and every one of them had some issues but this one pricing was competitive and place was clean. I couldn't ask more.
