I contacted four different moving companies to move us from our large two bedroom sixth floor…read moreapartment (elevator building) to our small two bedroom home. Meetunghouse's form for the request was by FAR the easiest to fill out. On the day of the move, they brought everything we needed (moving blankets etc.) We boxed everything else ourselves before they arrived. The three movers assigned were cheerful and helpful and did their job very, very well. We've moved a lot over the years and this was one of the best experiences we had. They even helped us pick up a Facebook marketplace patio set on our way! Remember to tip your movers - it's hard work!!

I hired Meetinghouse to pack for me and move all the stuff. Mostly everything moved from one place…read moreto another, but the packers forgot to pack some things and the movers were stressed! The packers and movers were two different crews - one worked Thursday afternoon and the other Friday afternoon - which may have contributed to the problem, because the movers were definitely not pleased with the packers. It got to the point towards the end of day 2 where I just told folx to put stuff down because I felt guilty about how hard the move was on them. Based on the other reviews, I'm thinking I might have caught some of the folx on off-days? I will say they were prompt and polite, and Sway really tried to make up for what he could tell was not the smoothest move. It was not an inexpensive move, but the price matched with other companies I got quotes from. *I'd recommend not asking them to move plants because almost all of the plants they handled lost limbs. Not sure how to get around this if you're a person without a car or just want everything moved in one trip, but I'm glad I moved most of the plants myself. Art was handled delicately though!

recommended by our agent, they were great. The pricing was reasonable and they showed up on time…read moreand they were super quick considering we had a lot of stuff to move. I had never heard of them before but I trusted my agent and I couldn't have been happier with them. Nothing was broken, nothing was missing, and they didn't dilly dally. I would not recommend this company at all. Two stars out of ten is being generous. I found them to…read morebe very unprofessional and quite incompetent. The movers did not know how to get my sofa out of the door even though I tried to explain to them how the company that sold me the sofa moved it into the same apartment. They thought the only way to get it out of the doorway was to turn the sofa in a vertical position to try to get it out of the doorway. The problem with that strategy was my doorway was two feet shorter than the length of my leather sofa. They kept whacking the sofa on the doorway trying to fit a square through the proverbial circle. It was a Laurel and Hardy routine. Once they heard the whacking noise, they did not stop. They proceeded to try and force the sofa through an opening that could not accommodate my sofa. One of the movers was trying to be pleasant up until I was "trying to tell him how to do his job." At that point he became quite hostile. Never mind that it was my personal property that I was trying to prevent him from damaging as I had every right to do. He quite angrily and tersely told me that he had been a professional mover for years, and he did need me to tell him how to do his job. At that point, I was hoping that the damage would be minimum. At this point, I knew that I had made the wrong choice in selecting a moving company. The delivery team from the company that sold me my sofa moved the sofa into my apartment in a horizontal position. They had never been to my apartment before and were dealing with the same exact hallway and doorway that the two movers from BR were dealing with. Without being familiar with the layout of my apartment, they knew how to turn the sofa ever so slightly, and then ever so slightly again, in rapid succession to get it into my doorway. It took the original delivery team a total of two minutes from the time they arrived at my front door to get it into my apartment and set me up in the exact spot that I wanted. They did not hit any walls, scrap the sofa against the doorway or whack it again the door jam. They delivered my sofa to me in pristine condition without a single solitary scratch on it. In preparation for the move, I had spent the entire night wrapping my sofa in 4 professional moving blankets and several layers of thick professional shrink wrap plastic. I covered every inch of the sofa several times over. I made sure I covered the wooden legs of my sofa in the moving blankets and the professional shrink wrap. After intentionally not looking because I did not want to see what they were doing to my sofa, curiosity got the best of me. I peaked out of my window trying to see what condition my sofa was in after all of the banging against walls and door jams. They were parked in the alley that was right in front of my windows to my apartment. I noticed one of the drivers looking over his shoulders trying to see if I was going to walk up on him. It was obvious that there was something amiss that he did not want me to see. I was wondering what was going on at that point. After a minute or so, I saw my sofa sitting inside of their truck without any of the moving blankets on it. They had also removed my thick layer of shrink wrap from the sofa. At this point, I was confused and wondering what was going on. It took me 4 hours to wrap that sofa up. I ran outside before they had a chance to close the back of their truck and asked him in a rather confrontational manner why they had removed my blankets and my shrink wrap from my sofa.. His response was nonsensical to me. He told me that he would re-wrap the sofa once he got it to their facility. Today my sofa arrived in Boston. The poor wooden legs on the sofa were chewed and damaged from when they were trying to force it through the doorway when it clearly would not fit. They had removed my brand new blankets from the sofa and replaced them with blankets that had holes in them. The wooden part of the frame had white paint on it. The only portion of the sofa that had shrink wrap on it was the top 1/4 of the cushion on the sofa (no exaggeration), and that was only one really thin layer. The rest of the sofa was draped in BR's moving blankets only; those blankets were beat with large holes in them. The Boston guys told me that that was the condition the sofa was in when they picked it up from the container. They kept saying that they did not agree with the way that it had been wrapped. They thought that it was inadequately wrapped. They kept saying that that is not how they would have wrapped it. Only the top of the cushion had a tiny strip of shrink wrap. My sofa was in a new like condition when B&R picked it up from my apartment. It arrived to me dirty and soiled with damage on he wooden frame. I would not recommend this company. They are officially on my list of moving company's to avoid.

They packed the truck so well, carried items with care, and put everything in the right place on the destination. They disassembled and reassembled furniture correctly. On-time and ended earlier than estimated. I have moved over 20 times in my life, and I truly never want to move without Vector Moving again. The company was great too! Great and fair price for moving, especially when moving in the middle of the month. It was also very easy and clear to set up the order online and get a quote, and very easy to share inventory information; Dave from the Headquarters was communicative and friendly. They sent lots of helpful instructions week-of as well. Thank you Romy and team, Dave, and Vector!

Even with stairs, they unpacked at my new location very fast and even made sure we were happy with where everything was placed. Jose was easy to talk to and very professional about making sure we had a good experience. The team also worked quickly and finished the job in under the 6 hours quoted. So appreciative of Jose and his team and the whole experience with Vector. Hopefully our next move is many years away but we would definitely go with Vector again!
