We are devasted to find that our wooden furniture has been eaten termites, boxes and others are covered with rat drops. We have had to through away most of our belongings and beloved furniture. Please see the pictures of the storage unit. When we complained - the manager came over and said that many in this storage facility has the same problem - saying that the company doesn't respond and the insurance never pays. We have rented a storage unit in another Public storage facility which was fine, so we can't understand what is happening here. We have made a written complaint to public storage, that is for now unanswered. I am so sad - I lost so much thousands of dollars and memories. Please consider another storage.

(Good call in hindsight) I thought the point of a storage unit was for them to provide me with a clean and dry place to store my goods. I soon learned that wasn't true. In September, we got a bit of rain with that fake hurricane. I didn't check on my unit, as I didn't have any need to go inside. A few weeks later, my brother went to get something for me and my whole unit was flooded. I had electronics galore including a camera system and RFID chip entry system that were ruined and wooden desks that got swollen from the moisture. My leather couch molded - yes, of course I cleaned it off but that musty smell never goes away. Those were just the large items I mentioned. They never even offered to move me (when I finally asked, they said they didn't have any units available), they never offered even $1 off my rental, they never put fans to help dry it. It took several weeks for them to fix the problem. I felt bad for the manager because I could tell she was speaking to corporate on our behalf but her hands were tied. The only I gave two stars was because the manager was really nice and at least made an attempt to keep me informed of the repair progress. Full disclosure: I did get reimbursed from the insurance company but $2k doesn't cover even close to what I lost. Be careful renting here.

The storage unit comes in different sizes, and you can change later to a smaller or larger unit. It's very clean inside. And very helpful staff, the entire process didn't take long, but a few minutes, which was nice. They also have carts you can use to move items from your car to the unit, but ask that you return them to the area where you picked them up. But when I went back a few days later to move items into the unit, one of the elevators was down, leaving only 1 working. And you can't use the stairs, saw a sign that the opening exit would sound the alarm, which was a bit of a hassle, as a few other customers were moving stuff at the same time. No cart was available, which made the process a bit longer. But overall, I'm happy with deciding to use them.
