Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. I will complete my review tomorrow It is tomorrow William and team got it done. Very happy with every aspect and the final bill came in under the estimate. I can't say enough good stuff here. It hadn't even occur Ed to me to measure the width of my hallway or my doorframe, so if It's Brown hadn't come up with a plan to move the dresser in vertically in order to manuever the dresser over the stairs and down the narrow hallway I don't know what I would have done. Probably ended up with a patio dresser instead of my intended bedroom dresser. Ira Brown was extremely professional and communicative regarding the delivery date and time. The date before the delivery he provided two delivery windows and allowed me to choose the time the works best. On the day of delivery, he texted when he was 30 minutes out and arrived exactly when he stated he would be there.

Because I'm so OCD some of the boxes they stacked wasn't very stable, they had no problem rearranging the boxes for me. Some items that were supposed to have stayed at my old house, was brought to my new home. Now I have to take it back. One of the movers used my bathroom (which isn't a problem) and forgot to flush. Overall I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. They are worth every penny.

Some how a misunderstanding came about and at the last minute (I do mean last) and she was able to fit me onto her site whew ! When we arrived she had just finished cleaning and treating the unit to be rented. We started the paperwork, she explained everything and later delivered an envelope to me knowing that we were on a time schedule. If you need a storage unit call about availability Ark fills up pretty quickly and the "special rates" are "good for six months only."

I heard nothing until I reached out at 10am, and the crew didn't show up until noon -- after calling me at 11am to ask what supplies they needed to pick up from Lowe's. For a company that advertises "White-Glove, damage-free service," they arrived without many basic supplies, including scissors. They asked to use my quilt as a moving blanket and used my kitchen knife to cut tape and packing paper without permission, ruining the blade. The job was estimated at 4-6 hours and took 11 hours - they left my house at 11pm. I've hired full-service movers twice before with a comparable amount of belongings. Both times it has taken them under 4 hours. This crew spent over 6 hours just packing. Worst of all, my furniture was damaged, most of which was never wrapped or blanketed. Definitely not the "White-Glove, damage-free service" promised. I sent a formal written complaint requesting a partial refund and their insurance information to file a damage claim. No response in two weeks, even after reminder emails. I've noticed they sometimes respond to reviews here, even when they don't respond directly to customers so they pretend to care on this platform, but actually do not. Run away! Hire someone else!

The crew repeatedly ignored instructions, packed the trailer incorrectly, and had to be constantly directed throughout the move. Some of the issues we experienced included: * Failure to properly secure the load until we insisted. * Boxes loaded before furniture, wasting valuable trailer space. * Storage totes opened and contents dumped into the trailer. * Damage to our refrigerator during removal from the house. * A dresser dropped down the stairs. * A broken leg on an antique cedar chest. * Inadequate equipment for the job. * Unprofessional behavior, including intimidation rather than customer service. The poor performance was so significant that the crew had to return the next day to continue the move, nearly doubling our costs and extending an already stressful process. Moving is stressful enough without having to supervise the crew, worry about damage to your belongings, and pay more because the job wasn't done correctly the first time. We're sharing this experience in hopes that the company will take responsibility and explain how they intend to make this right. We have documented damages and are seeking a fair resolution.
