He made a mistake and went to the storage facility in view of Arco on North Main street. All the information he gathered sounded reasonable to us. So, we both went to the alternative storage area on North Main street in view of Arco to set up a storage unit for 3 months. OH MY GOODNESS, It was HORRIBLE! right before I signed the contract, I backed out and asked for my money back. I went to Arco the next morning. I am so glad I backed out of the other facility on North Main street. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Kim Garcia who was tremendously professional and polite. She offered to show me the facility and the storage unit that was available. She pointed out the surveillance cameras and shared she watches the footage the next day to verify the safely of the facilities contents and the protection of her guests. The facility was beyond immaculate. The walls were sparkling white and the floors were waxed to a high shine, you could see your reflection in. Kim gave me the time I needed to read the contract before signing and answered all my questions that were triggered by industry lingo. She made me feel each of my questions were important and not a waste of her time or beneath her. She is most certainly, proficient, professional, an expert in her field and skilled with working with the public. I would not hesitate to highly recommend the Arco facility to my close friends and family. I almost forgot to mention, I was given a welcome basket for choosing to do business with Arco Storage. The basket consisted of two bottles of water, a couple of snacks, box cutter, Sharpie, a glue stick and an Arco t-shirt. I paid for 3 months in advance, purchased reasonably priced packing materials and was given a lock at no charge. Arco Storage goes above and beyond to make a customer feel they are obtaining a good deal , exceptional service and feel welcome & appreciated.

They prices they advertise online are not the actual prices. They hide the fact that they mandate using their insurance provider. I don't store valuables in my tiny locker so I don't want insurance, yet I am forced to pay for coverage. They raised my rent twice in the last six months. The property is old and outdated, grimy, no climate control, poor lighting, poor security, and zero improvements since I've rented there. Yet somehow my rent increased twice in six months? Homeless are a real issue. There is a homeless camp across the street and many and of them rent lockers inside Stuff N Storage. So don't be surprised when you witness drug use, hang outs, and sleeping while you try and access your locker. I usually like to patron smaller establishments over large corporations, but Stuff N Storage is doing nothing to earn/keep your business or set themselves apart. They are NOT cheaper, cleaner, safer, newer, or nicer than other storage facilities. Canceled my rental and found a better deal elsewhere. Bye Stuff N Storage.

They have 10' high walls all around, security cameras and after hours security sensors. He and his wife are independent owners, which means they CARE about whether or not their customers are satisfied because it directly effects their bottom line. Renting storage units has been a pain. I've been using two storage units from December 2021 until now. I've stopped using one of them today. Items were missing. Someone had been in a suitcase that was stored in the non-climate-controlled unit. I'm not pleased, but without proof of something happening, I'm out of luck. I had enough stuff for two units and now, it all fits into one. Apparently, the cameras and security isn't quite enough. Does any storage facility have good security? There was a price increase, so I was interested in consolidating and I found that someone helped without my authorization. Talked to an owner and she walked back with me. Since there was no forced entry, I'm out of luck. Since U-Haul locations are franchises, they're at the mercy of the franchise owners. Good owners do better.

U-Haul contacted him later that night letting him know that they had our belongings. I just helped him move into my place (over an hour away) so we weren't able to run back and grab them. Here we are 12 days later and I'm getting ready to head out and pick them up when my boyfriend calls me and says he reached out and U-Haul threw them away. I know it's been almost a couple of weeks, but there was no timeline given as to how long they'd hold onto our items (I thought it would be 30 days like other retail places). There was zero follow up and we were not warned or notified that they were going to through our things in the garbage. I was upset so I called this location and spoke with a very helpful male employee but he didn't see the cards anywhere and said the manager Pauletta would take a look around and call me back and I gave him my phone number. After a few hours I still hadn't heard anything so I called again and got to speak with this manager. She was very short and rude with me, saying that she already "called the guy back" (meaning my boyfriend) but never called me back after I specifically left my number for her and was told she'd be in touch with me. When I asked what happened to our cards, she said it got thrown out when they cleaned out the safe. There was zero apology or accountability for throwing away our personal belongings. I'm pretty upset with that interaction and wanted to make note of this. I'd recommend going to literally any other U-Haul because god forbid something slips out of your pockets while you're moving stuff around and next thing you know, you're personal items are thrown away without any warning
