I was looking for a short term storage place in Manteca as I am moving from the East Bay back to Manteca. I looked on line and Arco storage had excellent reviews versus any other storage facility in the area. I also looked at price and couldn't believe the special they were having which was a great value. After pricing storage facilities and talking to the Managwrs, this facility fits our needs. The manager, Arie, was the MOST HELPFUL person. Walking us thru the process, listening to our needs, and being genuine and truthful about what size we may need. She was kind and thoughtful, and all around was just wonderful to us. This facility is clean and clean. I love that it's indoors and we won't have to sit in the weather to load and unload. There's an elevator for freight to go up to the second floor. We had a great experience with Arco's storage. My mom sold her home of 30plus years and unfortunately had to literally move twice. My older brother was moving away and she was moving in with me but there was a delay with my brother moving out so had to move her belongings into storage until she could move in with me. This was very stressful and emotional for her. she is 76 years old and moving twice in rainy weather was hard but Sabrina was amazing. She was able to get my mom a unit that fit all her clothes hints for the few weeks she was temporarily displaced. Sabrina made it super easy and offered for us to look at the unit. Arie and Sabrina were great! They're super friendly and quick about getting the process taken care of. They were able to walk me through the facility and show me the different sizes and once we signed our agreement they showed us how everything worked. They were really thorough with all the paper work and making sure we understood everything. Plus I was recommended by a family member so we both got $25 off of the third months rent plus right now they had a really great deal and I got a second months rent free! Overall would absolutely recommend this place! The upstairs is cheaper but they have a lift to load your things into and take it upstairs for you. The place is really clean too! read more

I recently found myself in a position to obtain a storage unit. I initially asked my husband to go to the storage unit near highway 99 on North Main street to gather specifics on how the organization works. He made a mistake and went to the storage facility in view of Arco on North Main street. All the information he gathered sounded reasonable to us. So, we both went to the alternative storage area on North Main street in view of Arco to set up a storage unit for 3 months. OH MY GOODNESS, It was HORRIBLE! right before I signed the contract, I backed out and asked for my money back. I went to Arco the next morning. I am so glad I backed out of the other facility on North Main street. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Kim Garcia who was tremendously professional and polite. She offered to show me the facility and the storage unit that was available. She pointed out the surveillance cameras and shared she watches the footage the next day to verify the safely of the facilities contents and the protection of her guests. The facility was beyond immaculate. The walls were sparkling white and the floors were waxed to a high shine, you could see your reflection in. Kim gave me the time I needed to read the contract before signing and answered all my questions that were triggered by industry lingo. She made me feel each of my questions were important and not a waste of her time or beneath her. She is most certainly, proficient, professional, an expert in her field and skilled with working with the public. I would not hesitate to highly recommend the Arco facility to my close friends and family. I almost forgot to mention, I was given a welcome basket for choosing to do business with Arco Storage. The basket consisted of two bottles of water, a couple of snacks, box cutter, Sharpie, a glue stick and an Arco t-shirt. I paid for 3 months in advance, purchased reasonably priced packing materials and was given a lock at no charge. I had a rough time/bad experience at another storage facility in Manteca, so since I decided to not go to that other spot, I found Arco's via Yelp, and I have been more than thankful to have found this place! I came in with my rental truck, and immediately knew what I needed for the small amount of things that I needed to put in storage. Got a 5'x9.5" for $85/month, and as part of a deal, got the 2nd month for free! All of the units are indoors and extremely clean. I had my own lock, but I believe that they can supply you with one or you can buy one there or purchase one elsewhere, like I did. The ladies were super helpful, showed me the unit and had me ready to go within minutes along with a welcome basket with snacks and other small necessities for moving. They have an app to make your payments as well. This is my first time putting anything in storage, and would highly recommend this company to anybody due to their exceptional customer service and cleanliness. read more

Arco storage is definitely the cleanest and safest storage facility I have ever seen. I know they had some employee issues but for the most part I have been extremely satisfied. I only used there service for about 3 months but if I need storage again I wouldn't go anywhere else. They are a little more expensive than some other places but there is no price that you can put on safety. It's not like other places where you park in front of your unit and everything is outside. All of the units are indoors so your stuff isn't cooking in the summer or freezing in the winter. The units are temperature controlled and are by far the cleanest I have ever seen for a storage space. They have carts to move your stuff from your car to your unit. The only downside is parking can be tricky if they are really busy. Still a great place to keep your extra stuff. read more

Thanks to an egotistic and unapologetic owner, I'm saving myself over $900 in the next year in storage fees. Like many others who rent storage units, I would have left my items sitting in storage and would continue to pay month after month because I was too lazy to deal with them. However, sometimes a bad incident can motivate you to make a better decision rather than pay $75 every month. For all of you who are doing this, think about what you can do with $900..... find some room in your home and take an extra vacation once a year with that money. My long story short..... A large amount of dust had gathered on my items in a short period of time. There was some construction work above my unit and the unit next to mine. The spaces aren't individually covered. They just have a wire on top. When I noticed an excess amount of dust (I understand there's always going to be some dust, but this was far more than what would be considered "normal" in 2-3 months since I moved my items in... btw... my items were completely clean and dust free when I moved in)..... I brought it up to the assistant manager and showed him by swiping my finger so he could see just how much dust was on them. He notified the owner. I received a call from the owner. I started the conversation with "Your employees are very friendly and I like your facility, but I noticed a lot of dust on my items and I'd like to see what we can do about it." His response was: "Well, I haven't received any other complaints and if our facility isn't the right match for you, that's fine with me... you may move out." Wow! First of all, arrogant jerk, the work that was being done above my unit would only have affected a few units and I don't know whether or not my "neighbors" had a chance to check their units and/or if they are looking for dust. Just because you haven't had other complains doesn't mean it's not true.... especially when I could show you how much powder was on my items. Also, there is always going to be that FIRST person to complain. Then he offered to have some of his "guys" clean my items. Well, I was supposed to make an appointment because they drive from the bay area. I made an appointment for a particular Saturday, but they actually closed their office that day so they canceled on me. So this is how they deal with a problem they created: No apology, then I have to work around their schedule to have my items cleaned ?! Also, I live pretty far away so returning wasn't convenient. This owner also had the nerve to say I could leave my keys with them and they could go into my unit and clean if I didn't have time to open the unit myself. Sure.... I'll leave keys for total strangers to go through my items. Seriously, he could have considered the situation and made it easier for me (his customer).... he could have offered a little discount on the next months rent and I would have been ok with it because I would have had to spend at least an hour wiping down this dust (which I ended up having to do anyway). Instead he denies it and offers help that never arrives when it's supposed to. Guess his business is going so well that he doesn't need my business. Again..... for those of you who complain about finances, think about how much money they are making from you. Save your money instead of giving it to the likes of someone so unappreciative. I should actually thank him for giving me that push and saving me over $900! I ended up moving to southern CA but probably would have left my items there for a period of time because it's a pain to move, but I'm glad this incident angered me enough and pushed me out -- therefore saved me hundreds of dollars. Also, to anyone considering using them..... this is a cautionary tale.... if this owner denies the truth and doesn't man up, suppose you have valuable items and something happens to them that is no fault of your own.... there is a good chance that it will be denied and you are on your own. read more
