One of the items that needed to be sent was about 100 years old (found that out from my family after I had shipped it) and it was packaged so well when it arrived with the other items. To give some clarity on its journey, I had 2 chairs, a 100-year-old tea set and some fragile wall oddly shaped art that all went on one pallet. The pallet according to the tracking was transferred about 6 times on other trucks to make it here so it was bumped around countless times in terminals being loaded and unloaded. From my personal experience with them, I'd never hire them again nor recommend them to anyone. We confirmed the time the day before, but they still showed up almost an hour late. I paid for 3 guys to unload the truck, but the supervisor stood around smoking cigarettes and talking on his phone more than half the time. While the other two guys busted their asses. I paid for 3 guys for 4 hours, then after 4 hours they weren't done - so they charged me another $200 to keep unloading. They would have finished on time if the supervisor had been working like the other two. When I pay for 3 guys I expect 3 guys to work - not one to stand around. They also didn't bring any water on a day that was 107 outside. I don't mind giving someone water on a hot day - but it's super unprofessional to show up expecting me to provide it for you. And then telling me to put it in the freezer and go digging thru my refrigerator uninvited (like you live here) looking for the bottled water that I gave you, and blasting my wife with attitude when you can't find it. Bottom line - they won't get my recommendation. I'm sure you can find a better option to handle your move.
