This is a BUYER BEWARE warning, as my issues with this location have to do with the raising of…read morerates, and not the service or staff. I moved in last December(2024) and acquired a 5'x10' unit, which wasn't the best price, but this location is within 5 minutes from my current home. When I was moving in I ran in to a nice guy in the elevator who was moving out and warned me that day, how this location will raise rates without much warning. He was moving out as he refused to pay the higher rates, as he had just recently moved in, and they had already raised his rates. I was moving in that day, and well, not much I could have done either way, but in due time, my rates did in fact go up with a 1 month warning, due to higher cost the facility had to now pay was the excuse given. I rent a small space, that I didn't enter or touch in almost 6 months, so not really sure what cost there was that justified $20 more per month(when there were tons of deals offered for new units online), but there it was. I planned to move out sooner, but had an emergency home repair that delayed it a few months, but I have now moved out. I had a unit ages ago at another storage place, and I was there several years with maybe one $5 increase, maybe? And let me say, the staff here was great, always friendly, other people who had units were always pleasant(helped out, held doors, elevator, etc.), the building was always clean, overall a nice place. But when you raise rates knowing most people have few other options in the moment, I find that disgusting. I was very fortunate in that I'm going through a divorce, and my wife moved out abruptly, so that gave me storage space in my garage I didn't have before. For many people in between homes, cities, or even jobs may not have an option of moving elsewhere, or the money to even do so. Giving a 1 month notice on raising rates, when you haven't been there a year, is just taking advantage of people in possible bad life situations. I don't know if places offer contracts that they won't raise rates for a specific period, but if they exist, I would suggest a place like that over this Storage One. What was to stop them from raising my rates again in 3 months, or 6 months? Nothing, as it is left to the powers that be, and if they want and need more money because they can there isn't much you can do. Sadly, this is the world we now live in, and really the only thing I can do as an individual is to warn others. So, consider yourselves warned, and I hope this helps someone not get in to a situation, that they can't easily get out of.

Their price was in the middle of the two other companies we narrowed it down too but we decided to do Eco Movers due to our initial reaction of getting quotes and questions answered. They were very responsive and I could tell they were not trying to hit you over the head with hidden fees or additional costs like some of the other companies. Everything they quoted was a set price with no fluctuations. We booked everything a few months in advance to be proactive but Leury and his team made sure to check in with us before moving day. He came by and did a walk through of our 3 bed/2 story home to make sure he and his team had what they needed. The only thing I wasn't expecting was to pay for the blankets used for wrapping, but I take responsibility for that as Leury was not aware that our belongings would be staying in storage, and did not want to remove the blankets so our stuff wouldn't be damaged. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and had no issues paying the extra for that. The guys that arrived to pack our stuff were so nice. We had about 3 guys show up and they did their thing. They made sure to point out any of our furniture that had previous dings or cracks and took pictures for reference. They were super quick and efficient and wrapped our fragile and heavy furniture. We did the packing ourselves and only hired them to move so we appreciated them wrapping things as part of their service. After they were done we were given an estimated time of arrival for our items and as always, they stayed in communication with us along the way. They gave us daily updates of where our load was on the journey. We had someone else be there for when our load arrived and they let us know everything went smoothly! I love how thorough the whole Eco Movers team was. I always felt like my things were safe and taken care of. We also had 2 Jeeps that needed transporting and Leury and his team recommended us to their partner Mark who was equally honest and reliable. They also quoted us fixed quotes without any hidden fees, and stayed in constant communication with us. We met our driver (Enrique) across the street from our neighborhood to drop off our cars. I would note that they need space to unload some cars to put yours on, so meeting them in a more feasible location may be a thing. Thankfully we had a big lot across from our neighborhood so we just walked back after our cars were dropped off. The company used was Onway Logistics. I appreciated them providing a tracking link so you can track your cars along the way. They arrived a day before schedule and we also had someone pick the cars up for us and everything went smoothly. Overall we paid about $11.5k for the whole move. The cars were $1850 a piece and the household move came in around $7800. Again, we had quotes higher and lower than Eco Movers but felt more comfortable paying a bit more for quality service. We highly recommend Eco Movers if it's in your budget, and will keep recommending them to anyone who asks! Huge shout out to Elsa for staying in constant communication with us and being such a pleasure to work with on Leury's team. And a huge shout out to our handy movers Hunter, Jonathan, and Lee for loading our things and having fun while doing it! And Enrique for getting our vehicles there safely! From my personal experience with them, I'd never hire them again nor recommend them to anyone. We confirmed the time the day before, but they still showed up almost an hour late. I paid for 3 guys to unload the truck, but the supervisor stood around smoking cigarettes and talking on his phone more than half the time. While the other two guys busted their asses. I paid for 3 guys for 4 hours, then after 4 hours they weren't done - so they charged me another $200 to keep unloading. They would have finished on time if the supervisor had been working like the other two. When I pay for 3 guys I expect 3 guys to work - not one to stand around. They also didn't bring any water on a day that was 107 outside. I don't mind giving someone water on a hot day - but it's super unprofessional to show up expecting me to provide it for you. And then telling me to put it in the freezer and go digging thru my refrigerator uninvited (like you live here) looking for the bottled water that I gave you, and blasting my wife with attitude when you can't find it. Bottom line - they won't get my recommendation. I'm sure you can find a better option to handle your move.
