    Front desk staff were extremely sweet and made everything quick and easy. Highly recommended for anyone in need of some extra space.

    Tracie was so professional and so nice when i first came wakking into the store. Im not used to…read moredriving a big truck and she helped me calm my nerves down.     This is a BUYER BEWARE warning, as my issues with this location have to do with the raising of…read morerates, and not the service or staff. I moved in last December(2024) and acquired a 5'x10' unit, which wasn't the best price, but this location is within 5 minutes from my current home. When I was moving in I ran in to a nice guy in the elevator who was moving out and warned me that day, how this location will raise rates without much warning. He was moving out as he refused to pay the higher rates, as he had just recently moved in, and they had already raised his rates. I was moving in that day, and well, not much I could have done either way, but in due time, my rates did in fact go up with a 1 month warning, due to higher cost the facility had to now pay was the excuse given. I rent a small space, that I didn't enter or touch in almost 6 months, so not really sure what cost there was that justified $20 more per month(when there were tons of deals offered for new units online), but there it was. I planned to move out sooner, but had an emergency home repair that delayed it a few months, but I have now moved out. I had a unit ages ago at another storage place, and I was there several years with maybe one $5 increase, maybe? And let me say, the staff here was great, always friendly, other people who had units were always pleasant(helped out, held doors, elevator, etc.), the building was always clean, overall a nice place. But when you raise rates knowing most people have few other options in the moment, I find that disgusting. I was very fortunate in that I'm going through a divorce, and my wife moved out abruptly, so that gave me storage space in my garage I didn't have before. For many people in between homes, cities, or even jobs may not have an option of moving elsewhere, or the money to even do so. Giving a 1 month notice on raising rates, when you haven't been there a year, is just taking advantage of people in possible bad life situations. I don't know if places offer contracts that they won't raise rates for a specific period, but if they exist, I would suggest a place like that over this Storage One. What was to stop them from raising my rates again in 3 months, or 6 months? Nothing, as it is left to the powers that be, and if they want and need more money because they can there isn't much you can do. Sadly, this is the world we now live in, and really the only thing I can do as an individual is to warn others. So, consider yourselves warned, and I hope this helps someone not get in to a situation, that they can't easily get out of.

    Had an appointment for 11am. No one showed up. Called and left a message at 1:30, they said driver…read moreis on the way. No one showed up. Called at 5:30 and left a message. They texted that they cancelled b/c the driver couldn't find the location. No call, no text from the driver. I gave very clear instructions as to how to find my apartment as well as the gate code. The food delivery people never have an issue finding my place, and I literally copied the same instructions I give them. So...that just tells me no one came out or ever was going to. I now have two very heavy boxes of 90 books sitting at the base of my stairs. Terrible service. Would not recommend. I was just trying to donate to a better cause than Goodwill, but I guess that was a bad idea. Horribly run. You can't even speak to a person. You just have to leave voicemails. Don't waste your time. **Update: As you can see from his response to this Yelp review, the owner does not take responsibility for the poor customer service. My account is not a fraud & I am still actively reviewing other businesses. My books were all in pristine condition and all pretty new (see pictures). Mostly hard cover new-releases, best sellers. They were not water-logged or insect infested. How does he know the condition of my books if no one ever showed up to get them? Here's a hint...Do what you say you're going to do. Keep your appointments. Don't slander people who are trying to donate almost $2,000 worth of books to your organization. It's not a good look. Tom, clearly you have a lot of time on your hands if you keep posting responses to my Yelp review. Maybe if you put more time into your business, it would run smoother. The point is, I had an appointment at 11:00 am. The books were at the base of my staircase as I mentioned in my reservation. They were still there at 1:30 pm, so I called and I received a text that the driver was on his way. That is 2 1/2 hours later. I opened my door again at 5:30 pm and looked down my stairs, the boxes were still there. The address I provided is my correct address. I even included my building number, unit number and the gate code. There is a map by the gate to direct your driver to the building number I provided. If every single Uber Eats driver, Amazon driver, Door Dash driver, Fed Ex driver, UPS driver can figure it out, surely your driver can too. And if not, why no call or text? I would be happy to provide additional directions, if the driver was having trouble. A no-show is poor business. A no-show with no notification is even worse. If you couldn't make it, a simple call or text would have been fine and I would not have been upset. Inconvenienced yes, but not upset. The fact that I had to initiate not one but two calls SIX AND A HALF HOURS after my scheduled appointment coupled with the audacity that you have to lie and slander me is why you have this one-star review. Do better.
