In the course of 2 years, company decided to raise my agreed rental rate 3 times for up to 50% more than initially agreed. After confronting the manager, I was told this is out of their hands since corporate decides when and how much the rental increases occur. Instead of moving my business elsewhere, manager offered a smaller unit at a much lesser rate, taking into account that "rate will not increase for at least a year and even if it does, increase will be marginal". Trusting this company I decided to go ahead with the downgrade. To my surprise, less than 4 months later I receive ANOTHER RATE INCREASE NOTICE!! This time the increase would be for more than 50% starting next month. This increase like all the others happen for NO JUSTIFIABLE reason. As expressed by many others, this company has a long history of PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES. They purposely wait for you to be settled with your storage to increase your rates, not by a marginal amount but increases of over 50% of your agreed rental agreement. I appealed this with their superiors in writing but they failed to even respond. I am now in the process of starting to take legal action against this company and needless to say I recommend everyone to stay away from this corporation completely!

We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

I originally rented my first unit in 2021. The listed property manager at the time was A. Addison. 2. Upsized Unit (Late 2023 / Early 2024) I upgraded to a larger unit. My costs were: Rent: $143.00 Admin Fee: $28.00 The contract also included storage insurance: Coverage Amount: $5,000 Monthly Premium: $16 Insurance Start Date: 1/23/2024 3. Unit Leak & Damage (January 2024) When I accessed the new unit (Unit 6066), I discovered that all of my belongings had been soaked by rain. I immediately emailed the management team with photos and video. 4. Filed Insurance Claim (1/26/24) I submitted a claim through Xercor for $28.00, including full documentation. 5. Master Policy Notice Xercor later emailed stating that my claim fell under a master policy held by the storage facility, not a personal policy. 6. Submitted Additional Documentation .I provided an affidavit confirming the accuracy of my $28.00 claim. Transferred to New Unit & Poor Service (February 2024) Management assigned me a new unit (6514) and told me I could take possession on 2/3/24. However: The manager never removed the lock. I arrived at 7 AM but management did not show up until 10 AM, leaving me waiting 3 hours in the parking lot. This was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. 10. Claim Denied (February 2024) Despite paying monthly insurance fees, my $28.00 claim was denied, which made the insurance feel like a scam. 11. Gate Access Issues (2/19/24) My access code suddenly stopped working due to an internal "mix-up" that occurred during my transfer from the leaking unit. Ongoing Billing Errors & Additional Fees (2024-2025) The problems continued for more than a year: Feb 6, 2025: I received a new invoice with insurance charges added again, even after my claim had already been denied. Feb-Apr 2025: I provided proof of homeowners insurance multiple times, but they continued charging me for storage insurance. Late April 2025: Manager Theresa finally submitted a request to correct my account. The Owners never corrected . I asked for an updated statement four times, but the management team still did not refund the unnecessary insurance fees. Nov 2025: They charged me again for insurance and added a $5 online payment fee. Overall Summary This facility: Charges unnecessary and repeated fees Fails to honor their own insurance policies Provides extremely poor customer service Has ongoing management and billing incompetence Creates unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience Based on my documented experience, this storage location tends to nickel-and-dime customers, lacks proper management, and offers unreliable service. Not very clean in my opinion and my images I can add upon request. Recommendation: Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The emotional stress, inconvenience, and constant billing issues simply aren't worth it.

In preparation for spring cleaning & home reno projects, I started browsing storage units. I compared monthly fees, cleanliness, security protocols, and hours of access among other things. Much to my surprise, this relatively new facility ranked #1. They were also offering specials. I called & spoke to the manager. Stopped in and she offered to show me some units. I'm a visual person so that helped a lot. Turns out, I was considering units much larger than I needed. Securing the unit was a breeze. They also have several handcarts near the elevators so I could move a lot without assistance. Accessing my account to obtain info & make payments is easy too. The website's design is clean & user friendly. My only suggestion for improvement is repairing the exit door sensor. It only opens automatically 25% of the time. I have to jump out & manually push the button most times. Although policies regarding contact with the public have changed thanks to COVID19, the staff is still available to support your storage needs.

I've decided to write this as an up-to-date update: there definitely is a rodent problem. If you plan on leaving your stuff here, expect an accumulation of rodent droppings all over the floor and your stuff for as long as you stay. For the record, I've had units on the 1st and 2nd floors. None are safe. After 3 years, my 1st floor unit was so bad I had to spend two days vacuuming mouse feces and swapping boxes/throwing out old boxes because everything was so soiled. If you leave any upholstery, be sure to thoroughly clean it or wrap it *very* well. Personally, I had to throw many things away because they were unsalvageable. The cherry on top is that they keep raising rent prices while keeping the status quo - laughable. The only positive I could say about this place is that I felt the front desk was always very friendly and willing to help. But I could not recommend this place in good consciousness.

I had movers to meet that were prepaid. I arrived at 9am as the reservation stated and made it out by 9:51. Luckily I was only 10 mins away from my home, so I made it to the movers without keeping them waiting long. Also lucky we had prepared everything bc that left no time after getting our truck to do anything. 3 stars because 2 young guys got on the register and did help speed things up and bc they did have a truck for us (but I saw we got the last 20') so yes overall I was happy.

I also thought the service was a good value for the level of work they provided. What I especially appreciated was that they worked with me to find a solution when my plans changed. At one point, I was considering storing my belongings at their warehouse for less than a week. Rather than simply taking the additional business, they told me it did not make sense to move everything from the original location into warehouse storage for such a short period because it would unnecessarily increase my costs. That advice was one of the reasons I ultimately decided to use PODS instead. My moving needs did change at the last minute, which made the overall move more expensive than I had originally planned, but that was because of the changing logistics, not because they were trying to increase the price. I really appreciated that they were focused on helping me find the most practical and cost-effective solution. I would absolutely recommend them.

TERRIBLE business. SO mad at myself for not knowing better.*** I guess I should have come to Yelp before booking. Looks like I am not the only one, don't know if that makes me feel better or worse. When I called Karen was awesome and I was so excited for the service. Silly me. I have moved 10 times before this in as many years. This is BY FAR the worst experience I have had. I KNOW how long it takes to move my place. Not only did this take more than TWICE as long with allegedly a whole other person, they brought a fourth unauthorized guy. And still took more than half the time. One guy sat in the truck most of the time, I have pictures, the others didn't start on my kitchen until the end, had to wait for that....later to find out when I went back to the old apartment they hadn't even finished the whole kitchen ...ran over my allotted time at the building I was moving out of, at my cost. And then they ruined my couch. So I paid DOUBLE what I was expecting, which was already more than what was quoted cause I was adding a little buffer, but ended up tipping a whole additional person because I'm not a jerk. The guys were nice but inefficient. Kept saying this is what you get with a higher quality mover, but it was not even a better experience. They were wasteful with the amount of packing supplies they used, never presented or communicated the prices of the materials they were using, which I was told was included anyway but also others I never approved or asked for. Just popped it on me in the end. Oh and then they say "we are going to adjust your time by 15 min you'll see a refund on your card" and two and a half weeks later still waiting for it to even show pending at least. But you better believe the charge was instant. I was debating sharing my feedback but was so mad I finally emailed the company. But no one had even dignified me with not even an automated response, just silence. So I come here to do something I pretty much never do. But that's how annoyed I am. Sorry but would rather recommend. Cheap Movers, way better. I used last move were a thousand times better and a QUARTER of the price. I'm not even cheap but I hate being taken for a fool, and it turned out to be just that. That's what I get what I get for using hourly movers for the first time, never again. A slow work scam, exactly what I was worried about, but like an idiot I bought into the reassurances Karen gave me but they truly let her down. I hope she knows they're having her selling lies.
