During the move, they damaged my washer that was in great condition, making it unusable. I was forced to completely replace it out of pocket. I filed a damage claim and they reimbursed less than 10% of the replacement cost, which is unacceptable. They also broke my treadmill. On top of the damages, the crew was unprofessional with poor attitudes throughout the move, which added unnecessary stress. To make matters worse, the final cost was more than DOUBLE the original quote with no reasonable explanation. Between the damaged property, inadequate claims handling, unprofessional behavior, and extreme price increase, this was an awful experience. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

It's a bit pricy but for us it's well worth the money. These guys worked their butt off hauling heavy furniture and totes and nothing was damaged. They work quickly and efficiently. They allowed me to tell them exactly where I wanted the items and they put everything where I wanted. Took the furniture apart and put it back together correctly. We didn't catch all the guys names but the leads name was Dee. All in all we are very happy with the guys and this company and Lord forbid we ever have to move again we will use them a third time.

From my very first phone call to Morning Star Storage to the final point of moving in, they exhibited absolutely outstanding customer service. Beth was so helpful and accommodating to help me find the unit I needed; she even went down and took pictures of the unit to email me so I could see them from afar. Kathryn the manager helped me to make all the necessary coordination and arrangements for the drop, unload, and pick up of our POD. All the other storage units I called were not willing to coordinate with a POD drop off and pick up at their facility. Kathryn and Beth were both highly responsive to any phone calls or emails I made with questions or concerns. All in all, they made a very difficult process of a long-distance move extremely easy. Would be Zero The…read moremanager ended my lease without my consent. They constantly hounded me when I was on the property. The first time I walked on, they were mad at someone else about the dumpster and started taking it out on me. They told me this. They left that interaction to chase someone down for a review. Personally, I got like 5 different requests for this review. here it is. The manager told one of the people helping me transfer my personal items that "we should go back to the old days and cut the hands off thieves" and that parents should abuse their children more. The last day, I went to transfer more stuff to my new place. I was not going to relinquish the remaining weeks on my unit. When I returned to make sure I hadn't dropped any small hardware for my furniture, they'd already sprayed and swept. I did not even get a chance to look before they were moving me out. They even blocked my way out as I was trying to move stuff quickly to avoid them. Said they had 8 hours and to take my time, I said I didn't and they ignored it. Said they were in no hurry, I said I was, they ignored that. Physically blocking my only way out of the area. Since they decided to end my contract without my consent (I had considered leasing for up to three months) I asked if I was gonna get prorated. Had I made the choice, I would not have asked. They got mad. I exited the conversation and started. They started screaming at me and chasing after me the entire time I walked back to the vehicle. I did not turn around to engage. I just kept walking and she kept screaming and threatened to call the cops if I ever came back. The cameras will show me walking away and the person helping me transfer items has a memory. The service? Doesn't matter. If they break your contract for no reason, what else will happen? It's a solid business plan, though. Get people in with the First Month Free (if you're going for more than a month, of course), then hound them till them leave early and rerent the unit. But I'm a cynic. I doubt that's written down anywhere. I picked this spot because hardship forced action and it was close. I was mistaken in thinking it was 24 hours. That's on me. Not a complaint. Still, I didn't do this because things are well. And suddenly I have a person that will not let me step on the property to access my personal property without forcing an interaction. I'm not great with people. Especially terribly rude and abusive ones. 24 hour access would have been nice so I never had to talk to that person ever in the first place. But it's my mistake for not confirming that. Because of this individual, I'll make sure everyone I know will be aware of how Extra Space Storage operates at the Downtown West location. I will make sure anyone looking for a spot is aware of the caliber of people managing the location and the experience they will have to endure if they cannot find a spot absolutely anywhere else. As mentioned, Zero star if I could. The manager said "there was nothing left in there", but I was away for several minutes before I returned. I am not making a claim of theft. I'm demanding to know why I wasn't allowed to look myself. What did I do that was so wrong I wasn't even allowed to finish out the month I'd already paid for? Because the manager was in a great mood when they were blocking my exit telling me they had eight hours and to take my time, again, completely ignoring the words I was saying in response. They only got upset when I asserted my existence.
