I know the furniture was heavy and not easy to transport upstairs, but I saw them make simple, careless mistakes like lay a mirror, with sharp metal brackets on the back, bracket side down on an end table. The end table had a few scratches already, but nothing like what they ended up with after the move. It would of been a lot easier for them if the had taken the drawers out, and been supplied with the right equipment from the company. When I booked the move, the guy on the phone was not upfront with all the extra fees and charges. So, that was a bit of a surprise. Then, after I had paid for the agreed amount of work, the driver slipped in an extra $180.xx charge. I was refunded that charge and the guy was reprimanded. Just be sure to check. He was also the same guy who drove over my rock wall, knocking it down, after I specifically warned him not to.

I arrived with my movers to get my stuff and was told I couldn't get it without paying another month. We gave over 45 days notice and 30 days is required. I was at the storage 3 weeks before to verify payments were all up to date for move out. I was told I was good to go, yet had to pay cash on the day of the move out in order to get my stuff. Do not use them. It's not worth the small amount you save monthly when you get screwed at the end!

The bookkeeping is a joke--they have constantly had our account messed up and keep putting a lock on our unit when we're paid up. Everything in our unit has a horrible mildew smell. I would only use this company again if I had a DIFFERENT contact than him.

Delivery drivers that deliver sheds from Secure Storage Sheds lie about deliveries then destroy…read moreyards when they said they wouldn't, shed doesn't get delivered and they laugh as they walk away. The delivery driver visited the site prior to delivery on the day they were delivering. They checked the ground conditions since it had previously rained 2 days prior. The delivery driver then stated that the ground is good to deliver the shed. They came back with the shed, dragged it across the road, leaving marks on the road then proceeded to destroy my yard and my lawn. I even questioned the driver prior to his attempt, as I was very concerned about the yard and about it possibly still being too wet. The driver assured me he could do it, the driver also stated that it had to be done that day or it would be 2 months until he could attempt again. When the driver was using his "mule" as they call the power equipment to drag the shed, I asked him to use the wheels on the back of the shed so it would not drag and would not leave damage. He said it would be fine, which surprised me since to their delivery driver damage is "fine." After telling him to stop and just leave with the shed after he destroyed our lawn we called the secure shed in Knoxville and they assured me the corporate office would have someone take care of the damages, instead they told us it was "our problem" and sent us a refund check minus $150 for their delivery drivers lies. Do not buy a shed from Secure Storage Sheds or one of their locations. They will damage your property and lie to you. They are dishonest and deceitful.
