Having a service that utilizes reusable totes solves that problem. Enter Totesie. They deliver the totes with stick on labels, a Sharpie, and zip ties if you'd like to secure them even more. The uniform size and the ability to stack is vastly superior to cardboard boxes which can crush with weight. Additionally, the handles are more comfortable than push-in handles on boxes that can easily rip. The price was very affordable and considering they drop them off and pick them up at your convenience makes this a no-brainer for me. I did not observe them using any moving straps or tools that would be expected to protect both their bodies and your furniture. this apparently meant they also did not wrap any sort of protection inside the truck, as there are now numerous stains on my couch I will be dealing with, when it was in almost perfect condition prior to move. this also goes for repeatedly only using one person to move large items, mattress , credenza, etc. and resulted in the item/furniture being slammed to the ground upon placing it in the new dwelling. I watched this happed multiple times, where if they had just been working together my furniture and floor wouldn't be suffering damage. finally, my mom had spent an enormous amount of time largely labeling each box, and every room was grouped together at load in. even though they moved each room out one at a time, they did not load them into the truck in the same spot. this resulted in every single load on move in having to separate EVERY box off of the dolly into different rooms, and even then, extremely clearly boxes were in the wrong room. I paid a lot of money because I can't lift the heavy boxes with my disability, and it was a waste of money because I still had to move so many of the boxes to different rooms. on top of that, they wedged the boxes into the closet so boxes are scraping walls, and I couldn't move one box without starting from the top of the mountain and moving every box out. save your money, sell your furniture when you move and just buy new. not worth the hassle, expense, and damage of using two men and a truck. or use a better company

Two lovely ladies showed up & QUICKLY packed up EVERYTHING (carefully!). Then two nice guys showed up and loaded all up & got it to her new home. THEN THREE lovely ladies showed up to UNPACK!? I wasn't expecting that -- but WOW!! What a difference it made! They not only unpacked the items, they helped me sort & place them in a good place so when she walked in, it was already "like home"! After countless calls, emails, and Messenger requests, we have received nothing. In May I was told that I would get money for the repairs after sending them 3 quotes for repair work. It is now October, and I cannot contact them, their voice mailbox is full. If you are concerned about possible damage to your move, or ever being paid for damages of any sort, do not consider this company. But damages do happen, sometimes major. You will never get paid for repairs. I am disappointed with this company.
