I could not access my unit that I had already paid for so I called the number at the front desk because the office was closed. No one answered. I called the emergency line and nobody answered so I had a crew of six people being paid $600 an hour so I then left went to another storage unit and rented another unit at a different company the following week they attempted to charge me for this and I disputed it with my credit card I have a video of the unit being locked at the same time that it was supposed to be mine obviously, the credit card company rejected it because they know it was more than clear that I didn't receive the product that I paid for it. Now fast-forward three months later and they sent me to collections for a unit that I never even was able to access. The lady in the front was absolutely terrible at her job. She is just lazy and obviously not capable of the position. I never received an apology and then they actually tried to charge me for it and sent me to collections.. I have now called and left a voicemail at the corporate offices. I am anticipating an apology letter, but either way the rest of the knoxville area needs to understand. You should NEVER use this place, not only was it more expensive than the competition, they literally will rent u a locked space.

I was then referred to the U-Haul location at 7630 Oak Ridge Highway--and I'm so glad I was. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the general manager, Elah Henry. She was incredibly friendly, hospitable, and thorough in explaining how everything worked at the facility. She made the entire process--from returning my trailer to securing the perfect storage unit--simple and stress-free. Moving and relocating can be extremely overwhelming, but experiences like this one truly make a difference. I highly recommend this location and company for your moving and storage needs. I'd also like to acknowledge all the U-Haul customer representatives I spoke with by phone during my travels--they were professional, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the process.
