I drove there from Boca Raton, 50 miles one way! When I arrived, the doors were locked! I waited for the manager for more than an hour! I already have a CubeSmart storage unit in Lake Worth, so it was interesting to see what another…read morelocation was like. This location was so much nicer than mine! In fact, it even has a gated parking lot where you can pull you car directly up to the entry to the main building where the air-conditioned units are located. This is such a nice feature, knowing your car and belongings are safe (mine doesn't have any dedicated parking near my unit. people just park in front of other people's storage units and hope it doesn't block anyone!) Did I mention that the building has sliding glass doors?! This is super convenient when moving stuff. I came here to help a friend, and since the gated parking was limited, I pulled up my car to the non-gated area, where there was no one else parked, and I was able to pull the trunk of my car directly in front of another set of sliding glass doors. Rolling carts were ample and easy to find. The keypads worked flawlessly. Finding the unit was easy, and the hallways did not seem as narrow and claustrophobic as mine. All in all, seeing another unit definitely gives more points to the CubeSmart brand.

Been a loyal customer for about 3 years. Loved the location and the cleanliness. However, the…read morerecent price increase was $74 EACH month. I would have been fine with 10 or even maybe 20 but 74 more each month?! I chose to leave to another location a bit further away and got it for nearly half the price. So disappointed. Also, the $1.00 charge each month for "technology" was ridiculous. It was a dollar so I did not whine but come on people; Really?? Explanation was due to market demands....then why are the other climate controlled, same size, ground floor units in area half the price?

When you first move in, rates are great but as others stated they raise the rates a lot. I started with my unit under $200 per month, one of the bigger units which wasn't bad for the size, within 6 months the rate changed and I started paying more than $300.. couldn't keep up with it and eventually my unit got auctioned off, and I lost every thing, including important documents .. When considering using this company, keep in mind that the rates WILL change and rapidly, that's how they make their money. .
