    This place has excellent customer service. The staff will answer all your questions. Also the unit I rented was very clean.

    WARNING: Rodents, Damaged Property & Missing Items…read more I normally do not leave reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about my experience at this Public Storage location in Suwanee on McGinnis Ferry. I rented both an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, and unfortunately both were affected by what appears to be a serious rodent problem. When I went to check my belongings, I discovered that rodents had chewed through and damaged multiple items stored inside the unit. This is incredibly frustrating because the whole purpose of renting a storage unit is to protect your belongings, not have them destroyed. Even more concerning, I noticed some items were missing from my units. I cannot say exactly what happened, but discovering missing property raised major concerns for me about the security of the facility. My experience with management was also disappointing. When you're dealing with damaged and missing belongings, you hope the situation will be handled with care and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Yes, I had insurance on the unit and will be filing claims, but insurance doesn't replace the stress, time, and sentimental value of what was lost or damaged. I'm leaving this review to help others make an informed decision before storing their belongings here. Things I recommend if you consider this location: * Inspect the unit carefully before renting * Ask about pest control and security measures * Avoid storing valuables or sentimental items Personally, after this experience, I would not rent from this location again

    I have had storage here for the past year or so, and it never fails every time I come up the…read moremanager or whoever is working is never there and always on break, they also stated that since I got the smallest unit it would only be $65 per month, after about seven months and they changed it to $88 a month without telling me so they have no record that I verified it would be OK because I could honestly just go anywhere else, unfortunately for me this place was very convenient for work but now that I moved I got to look at other storage units and public storage is not the one for me. I am currently waiting outside in the cold pass the time that it said someone would be here very disappointed and I hope I never have to do business here again. I'm going back to "U store it".

    Extremely disappointed with my experience at this Public Storage location. I drove nearly three…read morehours to access my unit, only to arrive and find that I could not get into the storage space and there was no staff present at the office to assist. I waited over two hours on-site, attempted to contact the property manager multiple times, and also contacted customer service. Unfortunately, no one responded or showed up to help resolve the issue. The only solution I was given was that an email had been sent to management and that I should expect a response within 72 hours. That is completely unacceptable for customers who are actively paying for access to their belongings. A storage facility should have reliable on-site support, especially during operating hours. The lack of communication, urgency, and accountability turned what should have been a simple visit into a frustrating and stressful experience. I sincerely hope management takes this issue seriously and improves customer support and accessibility moving forward.

We booked a POD a month in advance of our move, which would include 6-12 months of storage and a cross-country transfer, so a significant account. We received a confirmation of the PODS delivery in a 6-9 pm evening window. About a half hour in, we received an email saying we were the next stop, then...nothing. We waited an hour and called customer service, who first told us the local facility ran out of PODS. What? We asked to speak to a manager, who then told us the driver had arrived but found the driveway blocked so left, which is an absolute lie. They said they had a photo - we asked them to send it to us..."sorry, sir, that's not possible." They kept trying to call the local facility after hours, telling us no one is answering - yah, it's 9 pm. Next morning, no follow-up call, so the only option for my husband and I was to cancel, rent a 20' U-haul and find a local storage facility, and we humped all our stuff out and in across 10 hours because our house was sold and closing the next day. To date, never any follow-up about why we canceled.
