I packed up all our breakable antiques except 2 pieces of English art pottery. They were a 12" high Baby owl and a baby raccoon. I found them on the floor unwrapped with a bunch of pictures (we also have found the glass on some of them broke). The ears on the raccoon were chipped they allowed me $25. credit. Most of the power cables on printers, computer and lamps were pulled out and not packed with the device. They came back and found one of two I could not find. I found the last one today. They are very friendly but the young men are either poorly trained or do not care. Of course we find that in all lines of work nowadays.

Well, I'm hear to tell you that Kris knows a way and I received emails from the day it was shipped, leaving the US, it's arrival in Sydney until it touched my daughter's address. Everything was shipped without any damage because Kris has many years of packaging experience. Her knowledge of what foreign countries require in order to gain entry is invaluable. I traveled further than I normally would to ship but after realizing Kris's expertise and seeing the results I'll never go anywhere else. It's about a mile and a half walk away from our hotel. We decided to brave the heat and humidity. It's a small 3rd party mailing center located in a small strip mall and it has AC. Yes! Haha! The gal at the counter was very patient, helpful, and friendly. She patiently answered all our questions and provided us with what we needed to get our pieces of mail sent out.

I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" I contracted them for a cross-country move because they quoted me an impressively low rate. I was wary that the price was too good to be true, but the sales rep assured me that my deposit would be fully refunded if I experienced any lack of support. After persistent follow-up and repeated reassurances from the sales rep, I decided to give them a chance. Once I paid the deposit and signed the contract, communication completely stopped. I could not reach my sales rep, or anyone else at the company, over the following weeks to answer basic questions, including confirming a date for my move, which was quickly approaching. Despite their failure to return my calls or contact me to confirm logistics, my credit card company was unable to reimburse me because the contract is written to protect their business and does not clearly address communication requirements. After weeks of no response from SafeShip, I was forced to book another moving company, and I am now pursuing recovery of my deposit through small claims court. When I investigated their business after the fact, I found a large number of similar complaints, including reports filed with the BBB. I strongly recommend reviewing customer feedback across platforms before considering SafeShip, as they have a well-documented history of scamming customers.
