Over the series of experiences I've had, it was strangely somewhere in the middle. The positive side was that they were incredibly responsive. The customer service is on point and the attitude of their management is definitely a class act. I have no doubt this is a major driver for their most positive reviews and deservedly so. The part where I struggle is the mixed experiences from the various technicians that had come to one of my properties that had an ant, cockroach, and spider problem. The initial $160 was a bit higher than I expected, but a small price that I was willing to pay to rid the property of creepy crawlers. Jason and Servando (sp) extremely brief in their initial run of the place. Even after their treatment, I still saw plenty of spider action where it was clear were not that thorough. After explaining my situation to their staff, they assigned the manager at the time, Daniel, to come back and apply treatment the way he intended. He went nuclear with a whole host of sprays and was extremely thorough both inside and out. His work made a world of difference and there was very little bug activity for close to a year. He was thorough in his explanaition and super transparent with his approach. If every experience was this thorough I think I'd be more receptive to future service. He has unfortunately left the company. Typically they recommend treatment 3 to 4 months. The subsequent visits after my initial concerns were not charged, which I'm thankful for but should not have taken that many times just to get the desired result. It was close to $250 for carpet ant treatment, which felt out of my budget but was assured that the chemicals would be different than the standard ones used for treatment. I was presented with a 30 and 60-day warranty which is fine but not something I elected to go for this past time around. While I'm sure they've done stellar work for other households and other properties, I do wish that I was able to experience the same magic on a consistent basis.

He took the extra time to educate me on the different types of wasps, what to look for, and practical steps I could take to further protect my home. I genuinely learned something, and that kind of education goes a long way. He has a very pleasant disposition and a great sense of humor, which I needed at a time when I was feeling particularly anxious about the presence of unwanted visitors in or around my home. They were so informative and answered every question I had, security wise, if my baby got sick, if something happened. They have a plan. They help potty train and genuinely care about each baby. Instead of being apologetic the movers kept asking if our furniture was from ikea because cheap furniture breaks easy (it's not, it's very nice pieces from Nebraska furniture mart) like it was excusable. Bellhop is now refusing to cover any wooden furniture due to them claiming it being flimsy. These are hardwood pieces and are not at all flimsy but were clearly mishandled by their team. I checked the contract and there is no mention of them not covering wood damage in the event of a claim. The claims team themselves have been a nightmare to work with and keep passing us off to new agents. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some heartache- DON'T use Bellhop for your move.

I am very disappointed in the services I received! The Bellhop crew that arrived in Maryland did…read morenot have any packing materials as we discussed when I booked this move. I was assured that statutes that were not wrapped would be packed. I was assured by Bellhop office pictures and paintings would be packed properly! The Bellhop Team in Maryland did not know anything about packing. In fact, the guy who represented himself as the lead and the best packer placed glass table tops on floor is truck and put heavy items on top.  He put my shelves on the truck and placed items on the shelves and I insisted that my porcelain statues be moved from shelves because during transportation they would fall off shelves. He wanted to argue with me and said he would walk off job and not compete the move. The crew stuffed oil paintings in a box I already had paintings in damaging several paintings! Three times I asked Bellhop crew not to lay other paintings on top of my oil paintings to cause damage, which they did. I was also assured that the driver was a Bellhop driver. When the driver arrived, he claimed he was subcontractor and was in New York and hit the top right corner of his truck and showed us the damages. I was also told by Bellhop representative, Nick that I could put my personal lock on truck, which I did. The driver, Herman kept calling my friend who was there at Public Storage when items were placed on truck, kept calling him while we were traveling to Texas. The driver called numerous times, as follows: 1. Wanted us to meet him for lunch at rest stop 2. Called second time wanting to know were we were 3. Called third time said his supervisor wanted him to take truck to get it fixed from damage which occurred in New York  4. Called fourth time saying he need key to truck to open truck so he could get it repaired  5. Called fifth time saying his boss told him to get key to truck cause he should have never let me put my own lock on truck. This was very stressful, your subcontractor continuously calling while we were in route to my friend who Bellhop had not contacted with. I am truly sorry I hired Bellhop! Many of my items have been destroyed! These items are not replaceable, they are collections, antiques. I called Bellhop several times to keep them updated on the situation, informed them of damages and the annoying phone calls from the driver. Once my items arrived in Texas, a bellhop crew arrived and when the truck was opened your lead, John was in shock by the way things had fallen, glass table top resting on floor, statues broken, pictures damaged, glass tables broken. To get my business, you falsely told me things that Bellhop did not do, no packing material was provided as promised when I hired your company!. They were very knowledgeable -- quickly narrowed down where the problem likely was instead of guessing, and explained what they were checking and why as they went. Communication was great the whole way through: quick to respond, kept me posted on what they'd tried and what was next, no long silences wondering what was happening. Their troubleshooting was logical and methodical -- they worked through possibilities systematically (power, PoE ports, connectors, wiring, NVR settings, etc.) rather than just throwing parts at it, which saved time and avoided unnecessary guesswork. They were also thorough, checking every angle carefully and documenting what they found along the way. Professional, efficient, and clearly experienced.
