It was so gross that the staff didn't even want to go in there... I did and it was awful. I moved to another unit but lost the expense rug since it could not be repaired... made matters worse my renters insurance didn't cover it since they looked at it as negligence on the part of CS and so upsetting... CS Managment did do anything either so I was just out on many fronts... To top it all off, as many have already said, they increase their costs too damn often it's insane... sure understand things increase but this is ridiculous... such price increases don't even make sense except just price gouging and feeling like they are holding us hostage in a way! I'm still using them but as others have mentioned, I'm not happy with their price increases either... 42% increases are to damn much!

I feel it is also secure. Cons: They constantly raise their rates usually around 16 to 24%. On the unit I have, they just raised the rates (again). From last February 2024 to this February 2025, my rate has gone up 42%. When I first moved in, they had seven carts to help you move your items. Four have gone missing and have never been replaced. Now when I go there, I sometimes have to wait awhile for a cart, or leave and come back. And last, of the two elevators, one seems to go out of service every so often. I can deal with the elevators and the carts, but the steady increase in rates is too much for me.

Customers leave them all over the facility and take as many as they want, oh wait seems there are only four for the property. The carts are in bad condition and falling apart. Elevators are smaller than most other places and have issues working. "Getting stuck in the elevator and the call bell not working, the control panel in the elevator flopping open exposing everything, maybe that was causing the elevator not to work properly. How many times did it not work???? Oh wait call but didn't work and when it finally responded, no one in the office or answering the number on the front door. And yet they complained that i left after the closing time!!! One more thing. I understand their idea of security, but having to type in your access code at the front gate and then each and every time you need to use the elevator os utterly ridiculous when there is no security at this site!!!!

Much better than buildings with a loading dock out in the cold or out in the hot weather. We highly recommend this location! Thank you, Stop and Stor North Shore!

This isn't about covering costs--it's about maximizing profits. In 2024, Public Storage reported revenues of $4.696 billion and $3.44 billion in gross profit, boasting a gross margin of approximately 73.3% . Such practices highlight a broader issue: until consumers collectively reject this level of corporate greed, companies like Public Storage will continue to exploit their customers. If you're currently using their services, consider moving out. If you're thinking about signing up, look elsewhere. Let's not support businesses that prioritize profits over fair treatment.
