Great storage place. Very clean and nice employees there. I love that it's gated and need a code to come in. I am afraid of coming here at night as it's dark in the surrounding area but I go during the day. Place is huge and it's climate controlled. The bathroom can only be used during business hours. There are trucks that park there. Not sure how the parking situation works but I'm usually in an out within an hour. Carts are spread out in the corners of the facility. My mother passed away in March 2022 and we had a house full of furniture to hold for out of state family ... needless to say one month turned into three and each month I was nervous about the cost and month Delores was understanding and sympathetic! RAT droppings and urine all over my storage and throughout facility. Don store manager very helpful and friendly. His supervisor Julio general manager total opposite. Julio offered no solution and advised since I don't have insurance he can not assist. STAY AWAY. And if currently have a bin go check as it may have rat droppings all over. read more

Really had an overall fantastic experience working with these guys. At first I thought they might be a bit 'corporate' and have to structure everything as per the corporate overlords but they definitely bring a local feel to this location. I rented a storage unit about ten days ago with CubeSmart in Rahway, NJ and had a truly pleasant experience. The rental agent was JC and he could not have been nicer. I was with my wife and young son and he made us all very comfortable. He gave my son a coloring book while he and I reviewed the contract. This was great because my son wasn't feeling his best and was pleasantly distracted. My wife was happy because she didn't have to work too hard to keep him busy. The paperwork was mostly electronic and not that cumbersome. The facility was clean, well lit, and offered carts to help move in or out. They do offer a moving truck to move in but it had recently been in an accident and was not available. Another negative I recently experienced is one of the elevators is out of service, which is inconvenient on busy days like this past Sunday. Despite my initial experience the two negatives weigh heavy on my review which is why I am giving CubeSmart of Rahway 3 stars. read more

I've had a 10x10 storage unit here for over 3 years since we moved from a house to an apartment, and we're still trying to figure out where we want to live. The place is very large and is 3 stories. Some of the ground floor units have doors that open directly to the outside, so you could use it for a car or other vehicle I suppose. I have a unit on the 2nd floor. It's somewhat climate controlled, not freezing in the winter and not broiling hot in the summer. It's not accessible 24 hours a day, but I haven't had the need to get something at 3am, so not that big a deal for me. The hallways are clean and there are usually enough carts available, except when someone is moving in/out and they may use them all. Sometimes the doors are blocked by people's cars are they are loading/unloading, but the times I have encountered this, people move their things out of the way. I wish there was a place to throw away trash there. The elevators are large. There was one time during the summer that they weren't working, and when I complained, they gave me a partial credit for the month's rent. A lot of times the gates to the place aren't working (usually stuck in the up position, so there's no security), but it's gotten better lately. The times I needed to deal with the management people were good. I never had a problem with them. They let big dump trucks park inside their fence, so sometimes it may be difficult to find a place to put your car while you're inside. Would give 3.5 stars. read more

I've rented a 10 x 10 unit from here on the 2nd floor for about a year now. The facility is relatively clean and the staff that I've dealt with have been friendly. People often leave trash/discarded items in the hallways. There is a limited number of pushcarts and no one ever returns them to the designated area so you have to wander the halls of the place to find a cart. My biggest complaint would be that they can change the monthly rate of the unit while only providing a month's notice. It seems very unfair that they can hike up the rate whenever they feel like it. They should provide yearly leases or something so that the rental price can be locked down for an agreed upon amount of time. Very shady IMO. read more

Rental took about 15 minutes. Associate was great. She was fast and professional. Showed me the unit to make sure I had the right size before signing the lease. Made sure I could use the lock they provided. Highly recommend. Unit was clean, entire building was well maintained. read more

Genesis helped me with my storage needs, good customer service, I've had no problems since my rush move in during November 2015. Recently, he helped me with my downsizing of a unit. .. I've never had an issue locating pull carts...and I moved in with a broken leg;so, i utilized them. .. nor with the cleanliness. . The only problem I've had is opening the front door of the office, heavy.. So, I use the door closer to the highway or just enter through back of office after I visit my storage unit. . I give this facility a five star rating because the personnel their are very helpful especially when I just moved from one cube to another because I liked the location better and as an additional plus found out it had light and a power outlet.This is an outside access cube so those to additions were nice to get.Also the facility itself is very appealing being its a regular building and not a tin shed setup like some.For me the location was great.Only problem I would say is that there are a lot of trucks parked onsite so you have to be aware of those when driving through the property. read more

So far , so good. The staff is very helpful with questions and when you come in they even give you a walking tour of the facility and show you how to properly use your lock and key. The facility is pretty well kept and clean. There are 3 entrance gates and all have numerical key pads for secure entrance. They have accessible hand trucks and the elevators are up and functioning. Although it is true that there are times that carts are not available at the rear location, I've found that it simply is a matter of driving to the front location to find them. The security is better than at many locations (although not foolproof), and the facility is clean and in many cases, temperature and humidity controlled. The staff was very helpful, and the price at this location was fair, and generally cheaper than other comparable facilities. A good option for your storage needs. read more
