At 4pm, they hadn't arrived and we hadn't heard anything so my husband called the office only to be told that the office could not get ahold of the crew. After about 30 minutes, they called back saying the moving crew was having an issue with their truck. Once they determined something was going on with that crew they promised that a new crew could come at 7pm, saying "they will 100% be there." 5:30pm rolled around and we got a call that the move was cancelled because the crew did not want to work that late and our only other option was the next day at 1pm but we had to be out of the apartment in the morning. Because it was already 5:30pm, it was nearly impossible to find any help and we ended up having to recruit some very nice friends to help. Had we known right away that there was an issue, we could have started moving ourselves earlier or tried to find back up. On moving day, Eugene and the two other guys on his team were awesome. They were really careful and thorough with everything. They wrapped our furniture and belongings extremely well, and we didn't have a single thing damaged. They also took the time to disassemble and reassemble furniture, which was a huge help. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the whole move. The only thing I would mention is that the move took longer than we originally expected. BUT honestly, I don't really see this as a negative because it was clear that they were taking their time and doing things the right way. We've had movers in the past who rushed, cut corners, and ended up damaging things, so I would much rather have a team take a little longer and be careful with our stuff. Overall, we were really happy with Albo and would definitely recommend them. Moving is stressful enough, so having a team that you can trust to actually take care of your belongings makes a huge difference!
