The property manager, Shannon, worked with me extensively to find a unit that fit my band's needs. - There is free coffee, candy and water located in the office for renters. - The unit I was showed was clean, well-lit and had working AC. - There are separate rules for bands, but I didn't find them over-bearing; they can be summed up to "don't be a nuisance." - Note that the units with wall outlets are on an hour timer. The sudden power outage could damage tube amps. Overall, I'm pleased with my experience so far and would recommend this location to musicians looking for practice space.

The indoor part of the facility used to be a supermarket or department store, so it is quite large. The whole place is clean, well lit, and the air conditioning is better than I expected. Nicely cool in the summer, and comfortably warm in the winter. My unit was on the end, right near the curbside door, but I noticed looking down the aisles that they are very wide, if you wanted to access your unit while the tenant across did the same, there would be no problem. The roll-up door worked smoothly, and the built-in lock eliminates having to buy or supply a padlock. There are always plenty of flatbed carts available. Not 24 hour access, but you can get in 7:30 am to 10 pm every day, holidays included. Office staff very friendly and helpful, and the managers live onsite. Even when the office was closed, a few times when I went to my unit, I saw one of the managers, so they don't close up the office and disappear. Although I didn't have a need for it, I noticed they have plenty of room for outside storage (like vehicles & equipment) and again, it is clean and well organized. If I ever need storage again, I will definitely return here.

The gentleman i talked to was friendly and accomodating and scheduled me for a 9:00 meeting on Saturday to sign the paperwork and show me where the unit was located. On Saturday, in 25 degree weather, my husband, myself and one year old daughter ventured out there for our meeting. As we stood in front of the door there was a sign saying "closed-call this number for information" we called the number and explained that we had an appointment and the service received was horrible. He told us that our meeting wasn't on the schedule and he could be there in an hour but "why did i have to see it today when i wasn't needing it for another week and a half". Well that was in fact correct, i hadn't NEEDED to see it that day- i was scheduled for that day so i showed up. i then asked the man for some sort of conselation for our wasted time/gas/ poor service (I asked for some money off or an upgrade to a larger unit). he said that he couldn't do anything and that i should just "find another place to rent" i am normally not one to write reviews- especially negative ones- but this was just bad business. I know that me leaving isn't going to break their business by any means but in a city like Apex you expect better customer service. I ended up going a mile or so up the street to Triangle Storage and have so far had an excellent experience with them.
