When there was my husband politely disputed the charge and it was taken off. The only real issue with this location is how terrible the parking lot is. Lots of potholes, rough ride even driving slow.

I expect U-Haul to take responsibility for this and ensure customers are not charged for fuel they did not use. The manager and other staff were often rude, drunk, high and most times aggressive while at work as I performed my job. After multiple attempts to resolve issues through communication I was yelled at, over worked and bullied. The customer service is very suspicious and often times leads to customers either overcharged or in some cases charging extra to cause hardship on customers. I highly do not recommend employment here or the purchase of any products. While I appreciate the opportunity, I was disappointed with the way I was treated and disturbed at the events that were unprofessional and very aggressive towards me in management approaches. This type of unprofessionalism made it difficult to do my job effectively due to the constant threats and mistreatment due to poor management. There are also roaches and rats at an alarming rate in people's storage units upon entering you see rat traps and I was a housekeeper constantly being told to work with extremely bad pesticides and I am currently five months pregnant. The truck we received had been used to haul trash the night before. We had to help move someone and could only use about 3/4 of the storage capacity for fear of getting disgusting smells on furniture, mattresses, etc. When we asked if we could have even a partial refund, owner refused and the guy on site said it wasn't his problem. The smell could have come from 'weather' which was pretty hilarious. I know if I had left the truck in that condition, I would have been charged extra. But naturally, if they leave the truck that way for the customer, no penalty. I think having a dirty truck to rent is one thing, but not responding to the customer's request for a partial refund because 'there's nothing we can do' is just bad business.

After that he helped me get a plan to put my car on a trailer so we could get it home. He helped us along with a lot of the other employees there to roll my truck onto the trailer and secure it. They all did this very professionally and were all super kind and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. The process to rent the flat bed was made super easy by the person working at the front desk. Alexsis was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire experience. The rerun of the trailer was also very easy, there was a lot of trailers and trucks in the way and one of the employees offered to get in and back it in for us. Overall 10/10 experience, everyone was very kind, knowledgeable and experienced.

Shortly after picking up the vehicle, I discovered the radiator reservoir hose was broken, which forced me to stop and repair it myself just to safely continue the trip. A rental truck intended for a long interstate drive should never leave the lot with an issue like that. The steering wheel was not straight, indicating a possible alignment issue, and the front left wheel bearing was leaking lubrication, which caused constant noise and made me question the safety of the truck for such a long drive. Even worse, the cargo box leaked during rain, allowing water to get inside the truck and soak several of my moving boxes. Among the items damaged were law school books that cost approximately $200+ each, along with other personal belongings.Between the mechanical issues, safety concerns, and property damage caused by a leaking cargo area, this rental created significant stress and financial loss during my move. I am extremely disappointed that a truck in this condition was rented out for a long-distance trip. I hope U-Haul takes responsibility for the damages to my belongings and the condition of the vehicle.
