Passive aggressive clerks now turn off the pump if you are not aware of their new policy to only enter from Old Keene Mill Road. And, how could you know since the owner is apparently too cheap to have any signs made to inform customers? Many accidents waiting to happen and traffic jams galore. The owner just recently repaired concrete that was a major hazard to alignments and tires for years. Obviously extreme cost cutting and likely substandard gas allow the slightly lower prices that drive customers to this cluster-f hell hole of a gas station. The clerks at this place are scary too. Even after I turned my car around to comply with the mysterious new policy, he turned off the second pump and stated he would not sell me gas. Someone posted that the gas here is so low in price it is worth the wait. It is not, and you can get gas cheaper at other locations which are easier to get in and out of. Sitting and idling your engine, causing near accidents with cars sometimes sticking out into the main road is terrible. This place needs to get rid of it's pathetic car wash and realign it's pumps. The entire corner of Lee Chapel shopping center is a blight due to that gas station and the McDonald's. Normally, the lines are bad enough to cause accidents and, oh by the way, you may not want to use their cheap gas because I have gotten the catalytic converter code in my accord after filling up there. So How do they reward their customers for their logistical shortcomings? They turn off the pumps if you pull up on your gas tank side in a direction they don't like. So then you have to pull the hose over your roof. Please take my advice. Find a Tier One fuel provider. Pro: Least expensive gas in the Burke / Fairfax area. I haven't experienced any issues with the gas quality as my car takes the lowest octane unleaded gas. I only fill up there once every few tanks, so I can't comment on the gas quality as some reviewers have done. Con: Terrible traffic flow. Cars line up in both directions for the same two pumps. This can cause confusion, anger, and delays as cars waiting for a pump block those cars that have finished pumping. Solution: Twice I've proposed to the on duty attendant that traffic flow arrows be painted on the ground to facilitate traffic flow. There are six 2-pump lanes and two 1-pump lanes at the station which even with "one way" direction arrows on the ground would still allow for plenty of pumps no matter what side your gas tank is located. read more

In the past it was a huge pain to even get it, people blocking OKM Road because the line was so long etc. Tonight I pulled in, get out, PUMP STOPPED. Ooookay, I pull up to the next one. SAME MESSAGE. I go here simply because their prices are cheaper, but that also means more chaos. They set up blockades so that there's only one entrance to the gas station, which I thought wasn't a wise choice. You see, the only entrance they make you go through is located smack at the intersection, which means higher risks of accidents and other vehicles getting in the crossfire. When traffic lights turn green, there would be a huge traffic jam in that intersection with people trying to enter the station and those who are simply trying to cross the road. Okay, I am about 99.999% positive I already wrote a review on this place but it popped up asking me to review it....??? Anyway, cheap gas. Let me say this again, CHEAP GAS. Seriously, the prices are about the best around. Definitely the best in the Burke/Springfield area. On another note, I have noticed my car does not run as well when I fill up here a few times in a row and it actually seems as though my gas mileage is worse when I purchase gas here. So now, I try to alternate when I hit a half a tank between here and the Shell down the road. I have an older, piece of crap vehicle anyway but that seems to be how the fuel here hits my car. On another note, always crowded can be an understatement. I have been lucky and rolled in a couple of times with little to know line but I am typically waiting 15-20 minutes. It's the nature of the beast. If you want to pay less, wait in line. If you don't like lines, go pay 10-20 cents more per gallon. It is what it is. read more

Prices here are excellent, but I've seen people get into physical altercations/car accidents when there's a wait. Once a snotty teenager was so incensed that someone "took her spot" in line that she after b*tching out the person, she angrily sped away... Into the side of a completely non-involved person's car. Today I was waiting in line for a pump along with 2 other cars behind me. The two cars at the pump finished at the same time and started pulling out. A guy saw this and decided to maneuver so that he could back in to the front spot. I pulled all the way through to the first of two spots with the person who had been waiting behind me taking the second. The guy who was planning to back in got out of his car to let me know that he had been waiting his turn and that he knew I had seen him and that next time he would "beat my ass." I guess he thought me and everyone behind me was waiting for the second pump and he had claim to the first. The gas station should put in arrows so that each pump lane goes one way - half could be for cars with left side tanks and the other half could be for right side. Until something is done to help the flow, I suggest giving this station a pass if there's any sort of line. read more

This happened a while back but it was a rather unpleasent experience. I locked my keys in my car while it was ON at this gas station (yeah, it was a really mindless thing for me to do). All I needed was a coat hanger, as the window was cracked and the car had power locks. Whoever was behind the counter here wouldn't even open up to speak to me (this place is one of those gas stations where you conduct all your business through a small opening in a think window). He just looked at me and shook his head. My wallet was in my car so I knew I couldn't go "buy" a hanger. So I went over to Safeway and they kindly gave me a hanger and I went on my way. Stay away !!! If i could give this place zero stars i would. I went to fill up at this gas station today and while my car was filling up i took a small bag of trash out from my car and placed it in the trash can. A man walked up to me and started yelling and waving his hands in the air. At first i thought it was a homeless man. It turns out that it was the clerk who worked there, he opened the trash can lid, pulled the bag which i had just put in there, he threw it at my feet and yelled at me that the trashcan was not for "home trash!" and i should dispose of the trash myself as he waved over to a dumpster across the parking lot. I stared at him in shock, i had no clue what his problem was so instead of giving him anymore of my money, i turned off the pump picked the small bag of trash up and walked it over to the dumpster. On the way back to my car the clerk came back out of his booth again and started yelling at me that i could not throw the trash away in the dumpster either. I finally got tired of his constant berating and told him that "it was just trash and that trash goes in the trash can, have a nice day" he then stared yelling at me to go get the trash out of the dumpster and take it with me. Well that was not going to happen so i just got in my car and drove away I'm not sure if the guy was crazy or drunk or both but gas is expensive enough without being yelled at about which trash is allowed to go in the trash can, i do not plan on ever returning to that gas station and especially not with my family, i definitely did not feel safe there. read more

Cheapest gas with close proximity to the beltway. Always 5-10 cents cheaper than everyone else in the neighborhood. Bring a book, you'll be waiting at least 10 minutes to use a pump. I don't pay cash here, unfortunately the employees here do not have the best English from what I have observed. Just use a card to purchase your gas at the pump. I went to this station to get gas about 10 days ago. The pump malfunctioned and would not shut off so my car's tank overfilled AND spilled out onto the pavement. Note: I was right there at the side of my car when this happened and I tried to get the pump to stop. Two other customers came over and also tried. The attendant, who remained behind the glass was on his phone and was clueless. After I ran over to the little window to get him to notice what was happening, I was dismissed--I guess his phone was more important. It wasn't until others came over and said that gas was spilling out onto the ground that he finally shut down the pump. And if that wasn't bad enough, I was charged for ALL THAT GAS. He told me that there wasn't anything that he could do about the charge! Since when is a company unable to reverse a charge when it is inaccurate? I typically do not buy gas from this station as my car doesn't run well afterwards, but since I was just passing by and didn't need all that much gas, I thought I'd give it a go. I should have listened to myself and kept going. Not only did it cost me nearly $100, but the way that I was treated is completely unacceptable. I'll NEVER EVER go there again. read more

I just visited this station a few days ago, at about 1230 am, in the poring rain. I missed the tiny one way signs stuck to the pumps as I entered from Torrence st. I got out and tried to pay cash for gas, the rude clerk WOULD NOT TAKE MY CASH even though there were only 2 other cars in the entire station. He demanded that I turn my car around to pump the gas with no exceptions. No other gas station I've found in almost 30 years of driving has this ridiculous demand. So I would recommend getting gas in Woodbridge with cash, you can point your car in any direction and the prices are better too, especially for the top tier stations. read more

This place has cheap gas, yes. However, the service is horrible. The handles are not in great shape. I heard from other drivers that they have been in bad shape for a while. I was not aware of the issue. So after I put in the handle, I did what always do. I went and sat inside my car. After sometime, I thought it was strange that the car was still flling . I opened the door to a river of gas. Apparently, in this gas station, one needs to monitor the gas. Many of the handles sporadically malfunction and one needs to keep an eye on them. I and another customer were trying franctically to stop the gas flow. The handle would not budge and the gas kept coming out. The cashier, in the other hand, refused to do anything. He did not come out or stop the flow of the gas even when another customer was asking him to help us out. After a couple of minutes of struggles, with myself and two other customers, it finally shut off. When I went to talk to the casher and explain the situation, he accused me of not knowing how to work the gas handle! He never acknowledged the mistake, did not get a refund for all the extra gas that came out due to the malfunctioning of their machine. On that day, all the other customers at this station left without getting any gas. I do not plan to ever stop for gas at their station. I now understand why they are the cheapest in the area. They seem to cut corners. If this is how they handle malfunctions, it makes me wonder what else they do to make their price so cheap!?! read more

I hate this place with the fire of 1,000 suns. The gas prices are cheap (suspiciously cheap), and as a result, the lines always make it look like we are in some sort of post-apocalyptic situation. There is much rage among the people waiting in line. This is the closest gas station to my house, but I usually drive a mile past it to the Shell station in Burke Center so I don't have to deal with all the idiots here. I probably get home faster. Tonight I made the mistake of trying to get to the damn VACUUM at Express Stop and people tried to hit my car because they thought I was trying to cut. I plowed through and then gave the people an extended side eye while I vacuumed my car and they sat in line. I am deeply grateful that I make enough money that my time and peaceful evening is worth paying an extra 80 cents or so for each tank of gas. Always the cheapest gas in town. They have long lines to prove it. This definitely leads to a lot of frustration. Two stars for two main reasons. One, you get what you pay for. This gas is not high quality as other reviewers have mentioned. They are more driven by price than performance. My theory is that that will eventually cost you more in the long run. I filled up there and my car seemed to burn the fuel faster and with less peppy response. When I fill up with Shell gas, there is a huge difference. I now prefer to pay more and fill up less with better performance . By the way I do have a high performance car. I always use the high octane gas. If you are not worried about your car, go for the price but I think no matter how much the gas is you should get the same performance. My second reason for the two star is the lines and confusion. People get really unruly when they have to wait and as another reviewer said, they are not interested in working with the traffic flow. One of the two times I filled up there resulted in an argument because my tank is on the right an someone felt the traffic flow should go the other way. The gas is cheap yes but the attendants are very rude and have no knowledge as to how debits/credits work. I went to the window to prepay for my gas with my AMEX, but the attendant wouldn't let me. He kept telling me to use the pump. I told him that I did not want to use the pump, but he kept insisting. He told me to pay with cash. I responded by saying that I didn't have any cash on me and that my tank was low. He could care less. He refused to allow me to prepay for my gas. Can someone tell me what difference this makes for them??? It makes me wonder why they are so hell bent on getting your credit card information. Too many cars and stupid people that doesn't understand two points of entry. They think its free for all and ignores lines (pulling up two pumps when there are lines of cars on the other side as well, uneducated grandmas that lived their whole lives without knowing the definition of logic tsktsk). The worst thing is that the owner/store clerk doesn't really care about this problem. It is very simple to just make a waiting line or make it one way (like costco) does but no its too much effort apparently.
