**I purchased the $44 Flagship package** I am giving this carwash 4 out of 5 stars based on my expectations. This is a very basic carwash which gives your car a thorough external wash and dry, and a decent internal wipe-down and polish. I wasn't expecting a high-level detail job. All I wanted was my car's interior vacuumed and wiped down, the windows cleaned without streaks, and a good external wash. That's what I expected and that's exactly what I got. The woman doing "intake" wasn't pushy when she offered a multi-wash plan - which I declined. She asked once, I said, "No thank you," and that was it. Nobody should have issues with that type of polite salesmanship. Yes, $44 is expensive for this, but without any other local options I chose to go with it. I'll come here again, for sure. read more

I had a disappointing experience at the Springfield Flagship Car Wash. I previously tried another Flagship location and paid extra for a thorough interior cleaning that wasn't done properly, so I gave the Springfield spot a chance--only to leave even more frustrated. After paying $44 (plus a $10 tip) for a full one time cleaning, the entire passenger outside side of my car was still dirty, and the middle back seat hadn't been cleaned at all. I pointed this out to an employee, who became passive-aggressive and made a dismissive comment as he passed me. When I arrived the location was nearly empty. When I asked for the missed spots to be addressed, another staff member wiped the exterior and interior of my new Lexus with Windex. As the same passive aggressive male employee continued making passive aggressive comments at me, stating "maybe you need a detail, you should pay $500 for a detail instead"-- I pointed out that this wasn't the matter of me, needing a detail as I could wipe away the visible dirt and debris with my finger. This was obviously a malfunction of their car wash. In fact as I sat there waiting for my car to be finished, another woman had returned with her white bmw saying the same thing about the entire passenger side of her car also not being cleaned. She too could wipe the dirt with her finger. For $54, I'd expect a much higher standard, not to mention better customer service, and I'm certain if they can't do a basic wash correctly for $54. their detail job won't be much better. Prices have gone up substantially here, and it seems they're more interested in pushing their monthly packages than providing quality or consistency. I left with my car still dirty and now need to clean it myself. I suggest avoiding this franchise. I have included pictures. For the money paid, I would have expected top-notch service, but, sadly, this place did not deliver. Look elsewhere for car washing needs!! read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Took my truck to get clean, waited in line over 30 mins. I watched them quickly service African Americans vehicles and take extra care when servicing Hispanics. They didn't bother to vacuum my vehicle although it was a part of the service. These people are lazy, racist, unprofessional and I wish I had reviewed this business prior to. If I really needed to get my car vacuumed and washed out, I would go here, but 90% of the time the car wash at Express Stop gas station works just as good and A LOT cheaper. Second time in a month they have not applied tire shine although paid for in Deluxe Exterior Wash. This time I caught it while I was there so I asked them to do it. Six employees standing around, so no excuse. The arm that's supposed to move in and brush tires at the beginning has been broken for years. The arm that's supposed to apply tire shine at the end is also broken. The chassis wash also is broken--has a leak releasing water pressure so spray is anemic and ineffective as it can't reach the chassis. read more

We took two vehicles to Flagship Carwash, Springfield, VA, today for Detailing Service. Great job on both vehicles! They look like new and we are most appreciative. The cashier was attentive and answered all our questions. Frongisco arranged to have both vehicles cared for in a four-hour window and the work was completed precisely on time. One, a car, is 30 years old and the other, a pickup truck, is 29 years old. Mr. Edwin Soto and a female worker (whose name I am sorry that I missed) set right to work on both vehicles. Could not have asked for more. Their hard work and care is clearly evident and we plan to repeat this process next year. Well done, vehicle specialists at Flagship Car Wash! Wow. Coming here was one of the worst decisions I have ever made. Now that I am looking at the reviews, I feel embarrassed I did it without checking Yelp first. I came in with a relatively clean car and left with a half-assed cleaning job and permanent damage to my vehicle. After driving the distance to go to the Flagship in Vienna for the past year, I decided to try a car wash closer to home and read about this place on Facebook. I saw they were also acquired by Flagship (although they haven't changed the name) and thought it might be worth a try. Horrible mistake. The pictures really speak for themselves, but here a few unacceptable issues I found following my visit: (1) When I first pulled up and got out the car, they ripped the floor mats out and tossed them around like a frisbee when going down the assembly line. A couple of them dropped on the floor but no one seemed to care. If you have harder all weather mats, enjoy the new dents in them! (2) There are drip stains all over the car. Very noticeable, no one cared to wipe the vehicle down. These were even on the windshield - I had to run my wipers first thing when I left. (3) As if tossing the floor mats was not enough, they never dried them. You get in the car and think "well that seems like an oversight, but I guess I can use a towel to wipe it down at home." Well... once you do that you notice that they never dried under them either. Which means the permanent carpeting in the car is all wet, and there nothing you can do to fix it. Hope you like mold! (4) I don't know what they tried to clean my dash with, but it's clear someone pulled something like a brush over it, tore the fabric, then quickly realized their mistake and stopped working on it to prevent further damage. I can tell this because there was a trail leading to the tear that I had to wipe down. But as you can see from the photo, the tear is permanent. (5) I got the interior vacuum and the platinum package or whatever to clean the interior. Nothing was properly vacuumed down. There's some weird crumbs everywhere now when I don't even allow food in the car. And I paid extra to clean the trunk. You tell me if you would be happy leaving with the trunk in the photos. Did I mention that the cleaning I got was their top one, plus I added all the extras? $70 and this is what I leave with. Man am I moron. Please laugh at my stupidity, but also learn from my mistake and avoid this location at all costs. Wow they've raised their prices. Yes it could be inflation related. Yet they also have some competition, and I will be taking a look at a group moving in the area. First off thank you to the employees. They handle a lot of cars every day, and for the most part meet expectations of cleaning the interior. Car detailing is available at a higher cost. Please tip them if you can. It can get ludicrous busy. This county has a lot of people, who are all about appearances. Not a negative or positive, but rather this is how it is. You could be in line for a considerable amount of time. I like the folks here, and on a weekday is the ideal time to go. read more

"Flash ships mission is committed to providing our customers with the best-in class car wash services and customer experience .." (see photo) and this is not what I received. My car was still dirty in numerous places, my mats were completely wet, my cup holders were not cleaned, my backseat mats were not vacuumed. The service provided is decent - washes my vehicles, but lacks the attention to details. It was a good value for the price. Not sure about the new programs under new management. Earlier in the summer, new management changed the pricing plan - from discounted car washes, the new program is unlimited car washes at different price points/levels. The good part is you are able to wash your vehicle everyday...I do not and at most, wash my vehicles monthly so the previous pricing worked better for me. Jury is still out for me... read more

4/7/24 Took my car to this Flagship in Springfield for the First & LAST time. They initially wanted me to sign up for their membership program for $44/month for 2 months then it jumps to $79.99 the employee attempted to sell me, respectfully I declined only because I've Never had any detail work done by them, IF the first wash went well, I mentioned to him, I'd sign up just to save me the Time in between details I normally do Myself. After receiving my car back, it was still noticeably freshly wet still coming out of the bay, not until I drove back home shortly after the car air dried & I then noticed how FILTHY my RIMS were still especially, not including how surfaced cleaned my car was inside & out. We've been taking our cars here for a few years now. In general, they do a pretty good job. You only get the inside cleaned when going through the car wash if you buy the two more expensive washes. Also their interior cleaning starts at $50 for cars and SUVs. This service always appears to be busy and the customers happy, but we haven't used this service yet. read more

I finally walked away and was treated the same by the manager inside. Only three people detailing after the wash. The didn't wipe the tires and I had to pull over and wipe down all the streaks they left on the car. Did not refasten the floor mats. Not worth the money for the "ultimate" price. The service at this Springfield location continues to go down and seems to get worse every time we go there. I recommend the managers focus on your customers. read more

I paid for the highest package available, yet this picture was taken after they were finished. The console wasn't wiped down and there were still bird droppings on the outside of the vehicle too. Paid $30 for "Platinum" supposed to be clean everything package, and all they did was spend less than 2 minutes vacuuming the interior and shove it through the auto wash. Upon exiting they gave it a MAYBE 2 minute wipe off on the exterior, wiped the front dash and front windshield. THAT'S IT! I had to call them back over to finish cleaning the bug splatter off the windshield. The front bumper, head lights, and hood still had bugs all over them. I paid $30 for this??? I went to Flagship Car Wash in Springfield this morning because of all of the pollen on my car. At this time, I only wanted an exterior wash done to get all of the pollen off of my car. When my car came out of the bay, the people started to wipe it down. When they finished, I noticed that the lower part of my windshield still had a lot of pollen and a couple of small twigs still there. I asked them to please clean it. The man told me they don't clean the lower part of the windshield because it is too close to the motor! I didn't believe what I just heard, I thought he misunderstood what I wanted done. So, I showed him the dirt that was left on the windshield and again he told me he wouldn't clean it! When I got home, I knew I had to clean the windshield myself. That is when I noticed on the passenger's side of the car a bird had pooped on it. They didn't even clean it off! And on further look at my car, I noticed they didn't even clean the bumpers. Blind monkeys could have done a better job of cleaning my car. If anyone is looking for a car wash, whatever you do, don't go here. read more

I went here this location on May 13th. I wanted to find a good car wash and this one came recommended. Apparently, the person that recommended them doesn't like me very much! It seemed well organized, at first. The employee asks what you want and they mark it on the window and give you a receipt. As I said, this was my first visit, so when they tried selling me the monthly package, I said no. I did get the most expensive service though, and I asked them to please vacuum the back area of the suv. When the employees were done, I put my tip in the box and went to my car. I was in a hurry and didn't realize right away that I had been ripped off. The car was still dirty and it wasn't bad to begin with! The windshield was only clean in the middle, cup holder wasn't touched, all of the floor mats were puddled with water, but still had dirt or grass on them. The back area that I had asked to have vacuumed- untouched!! The outside of the car still had pollen on it and the tires looked completely ignored. When I got home I had to clean all of those things myself! ( I don't mind doing that if I hadn't already spent the $44 plus tip for someone else to do it) I had made sure my car was cleaned out before arriving, so there wasn't anything keeping them from doing a good job. They offered me a two-month program for 18 and the next month they charged me 32. They are liars. I called to get the rest back. They said they were going to contact me to solve the problem and they never did. Every time I take my truck, since I am a mechanic and it is very dirty, they do not let me wash my truck. They are a scam of service and terrible quality. I would not recommend them to anyone. They lost a client who had two more subscriptions. I purchased the combination Express Exterior and Interior "Detail" package for $100 because I wanted to spiff up my car to sell. It was a waste of time and money. I would have been better off putting my car through the $7.95 gas station carwash close to my house and spending 20 minutes of my own time vacuuming and using Armorall inside and on the tires. From start to finish, they "worked" on my car for 80 minutes; however, I'm not sure what they spent their time doing. Although the vacuum was running, they didn't clean out the: glove box (see dead fly that remained), ash tray (dirt and crud), storage box (accumulated dirt), cup holders, console, or much of anything else. The windows were kind of washed, but the rear two side windows were not touched at all on the inside. The outside look pretty nice, but the area under the roof rack was still dirty and the rear window had the sticky residue from a decal untouched. I had removed that decal, emptied EVERYTHING out of the glove box and all the storage places so they would have complete unfettered access without having to move anything. It made no difference; they missed obvious areas of accumulated dirt and residue. In the photos you will see the driver's rear door pillar which had a greasy hand print on it--not even wiped with a cloth. I was in a hurry the day I had it washed, and I didn't really look too hard until the next day. I took the car back with the receipt and talked to the "manager"--first asking him to look at the car and tell me what he thought of the job that had been done. He shrugged and said, "Looks pretty good." I showed him all of the above items and more and I asked, "So what did you do for the $77 I spend over and above the $23 car wash?" He replied that if I had wanted the glove box vacuumed, etc. that I should have made an appointment for the Special Detailing Package at $170. I said, "Your guys had a vacuum; they spent over an hour after the car wash, and they don't even suck out the dead fly with that vacuum?" He shrugged and said, "No. That's a different service." I said, "So what did I pay all that money for? I'm not sure I understand what I was supposed to get. I understand that you were not going to shampoo the seats, but the rest of these items should have had some attention paid to them. Since they shampooed the carpet and the floor mats, shouldn't I expect that they would at least vacuum those areas?" He said no. So, I asked about the Armorall. "They put gobs of Armorall on various vinyl surfaces, but there is actual pooling some places and literally nothing 'here' and 'there' (pointing); it's a very spotty job." He shrugged again. He finally offered to have me return "tomorrow" and he would work on it some more, but I would have to leave it for three hours. I thanked him, and I left. When I got home, I used my shop vac and some Q-tips and rags and finished the cleanup myself. Honestly, if I had spent an hour myself working on the car it would have been much more satisfying and it would have looked 300% better than paying these folks. My opinion is that the people who are holding the rags and sprayers really don't have much of an idea about what they are supposed to do. The incredible thing is that every time I drive past this place, it seems busy. They will never see me there again. $7.95 at the Sunoco Station is a much better deal. And it's closer. I'll vacuum myself. I'm very disappointed. If this had been a purchase of an item at COSTCO, they would have happily returned my money or made it right. I cannot comprehend how Embassy gets high ratings for what they do. Or for what they don't do. If they are the highest-rated Embassy in the area, I'd hate to see what the other do (or don't). Please don't misunderstand. I know this was not supposed to be a complete interior detail, but this experience tells me that they would have no idea what detail would look like. read more
