I took in my SUV for an express interior detailing - when I called prior to heading over, I was told that it would take 45 minutes but upon arriving maybe 15 minutes later around noon, was told that it would take 2 hours. When I checked out, I asked the cashier if I would get a call to let me know when the car would be ready, or if I should come back at the 2 hour mark. She said they would call, so I wrote my number down (and car model) and handed it to her and left shortly thereafter. Cue 3pm - it had been 3 hours and I still had no call from Embassy. I called repeatedly through 3-4pm and when it hit 4pm, I decided to just head over. When I pulled into Embassy, I noticed that it was closed and that my car was in the parking lot. I was pretty upset at that point, because I assumed that they had locked my vehicle and had possession of my spare key. Upon approaching my car, I noticed that the side mirrors were not closed (they close when the doors lock) and that the door lock knob was up high. The doors were not locked. To make matters even worse, they had left my spare key in the main cup holder, plainly visible for anyone peering into the car window. I have no idea when Embassy closed, but they did not call me to let me know that they were closing early (their signs and website state 5:30pm as their closing time, and I was there around 4:20pm). They didn't lock up my car and keep the key for safekeeping. They literally left my unlocked car with my key in the parking lot for anyone to steal. I can't believe what happened and will be reaching out to them to ask what happened and why they did what they did, as well as sharing this feedback for anyone interested in leaving a car with them for any reason. If you are familiar with this area, you know that it is pretty moderate in traffic and my SUV could have been very easily stolen in the time they closed and when I picked it up. It is simply unacceptable and I will not be coming back for any reason. Oh, and the cherry on top was that my request to not have leather conditioner on my dashboard (which this very same cashier had noted and said she would pass on) was not listened to. This was a specific request because the leather in my mom's car had split and cracked from the combination of over application of their leather conditioner. I should have learned from that experience and not have returned. read more

I've been coming to this carwash for years. Originally it was an "Embassy Carwash" that did a quick, decent job for a reasonable price. I would go every few weeks. It's been a while since I've been to this particular car wash... and after today's experience, I won't be back. I got the same wash as I used to get, "the deluxe"... while it's the same name and the same cost, you get far less. There is no vacuuming or window cleaning. To get the deluxe plus vacuuming and windows, you have to pay an additional $14. For $36 dollars, the interiors should be pristine (and cleaned by a television celebrity), but from watching the crew work on two cars ahead of me in line, the vacuuming and vent blowing looked cursory at best. When you tell them which wash you want, they write it on the interior of your windshield; they will later wipe it off but if your windows really need a cleaning there will then be a weird swipe in the upper corner of your windshield. I used to work in a car wash and always look at the work being done to see if the crew cuts corners or goes the extra mile. This place, dear readers, is a corner cutter. For the time and money, I can invest in a decent home wash kit and pay it off in two cleanings. Thanks for the motivation! read more

The absolute worst! Complete waste of $40 and 45 minutes of my time. Had to clean my windshield myself in order to be able to see out it safely. Will never be back. read more

Paid for the most expensive car wash. Brought my small SUV there just after opening on a weekday (only three other cars when I arrived). Was told my car was ready. The back wasn't vaccuumed out at all. My car seats hadn't been moved to vaccuum under them. My wet floor mats were piled in my back seat. My bumpers were all still dirty. I know the wash process doesn't get all the spots...but that's why they have people to wipe everything down. When I pointed out the first issue the lady actually said "Oh my god!" loudly and sarcastically to the woman next to her. They fixed everything, but if this is how the service starts, I imagine it only gets worse towards the end of the day. Never going there again. read more

I've been in line for 1/2 hour and still have 8 cars ahead of me. I asked the attendant what was going on and he said the cars were very dirty although every car in front of me is pretty clean. I will never return to this car wash. read more

Got the "Deluxe " wash. Nothing deluxe about it. Windows still had cicada guts on them and no wheel treatment or tire shine! Terrible!!! read more

Windows smeared despite 6 attempts to clear with several types of cleaners. And different rags and newspaper.

Wish I could leave no stars for this company. My husband, who's a wonderful and very trusting person, had a horrible experience. And I've been dealing with it ever since. So, here's a bit of warning: DO NOT go for the unlimited car washes without the understanding that it is not just for a month. I've had conversations with so many people that felt they were not properly informed that this was an ongoing "you will be charged for this every month" kind of thing. Read about this on NextDoor. Lots of negative experiences with this same issue. They tell you about their deal verbally, LEAVING OUT the part that it is a repetitive charge to your card automatically, and then hand you a card to bring with you each visit. They don't tell you to turn the card over and read the fine print BEFORE you agree to the one month deal. I don't trust any business that doesn't give you the honest whole deal up front. And then they don't tell you that you have to go online and give them all this additional information that you may not want to share with them in order to cancel this program. You can't just walk into the store and say I want to cancel it. Interesting how they'll take your money when you're there but they won't cancel their program from that same location. Online it'll tell you you have to give them five days notice but there have been people complaining on social media that they've been told they had to wait at 30 days to cancel (thereby getting another $60 from you first). This is nothing more than a racquet. UPDATE: Upon trying to cancel online, and entering tons of information I'd rather not give them, the website keeps telling me "Oops.... something went wrong". This is a terribly ugly situation. Can only cancel online but.....hmmmmm. read more

I went to Flagship in Springfield, VA today. Paid $44.00 for the wash and clean interior. The staff did a lousy job washing the windows, and a terrible job vacuuming. I won't go there again. read more

30 dollars for the platinum wash. Was the worst car wash ever. The outside still has bug strikes on it. The inside was barely wiped down. The back seat floor mats weren't touched. The crew looked like it was putting them out to actually wipe the car down. The best part is they tried to get me to sign up for monthly washes. I could get a better wash leaving my car outside in the rain. Dont waste your time or money here. read more

The new business owners are crooks!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY UNLIMITED WASHES!!! Since the new name change (Embassy Car Wash it's now called FlagShip Car Wash) you get far less cleaning and you're paying more money! If you sign up for any unlimited wash programs you actually only get 5 washes per month... That's NOT considered unlimited!!! This is why the owners are CROOKS!!! Scamming the customers! I just cancelled my membership, and you CANNOT do it at the car wash... The employee said, you'd have to do cancel online. How inconvenient!!! And when you go to their website to cancel it's a lengthy process... They basically ask for your full name, the credit card that was used when signing up, your phone #, and your email address. Something better change quick! Because these new owners do NOT care about their customers! Your vehicle doesn't get throughly clean due to the excessive amount of vehicles they pump through their car wash not giving the employees enough time to do their job sufficiently. Also the lines are so long there that if you happen to be at the end of the line where you're coming into the driveway off of Rolling Rd. you're going to be there at least 45 minutes!!!! Before getting your vehicle 50% cleaned... that's Right 50% cleaned... You've been warned. And to the owners of FlagShip Car Wash, I DO NOT need your insincere apology about contacting you at 703-468-1414 blah blah blah....which is basically the same response you've given to every other negative review that was written about your business. read more

I am so sick of getting the worse car wash in Virginia from these people. $30.00 car wash and they wipe NOTHING down, so not waste your time, money or energy getting frustrated at this place. If they cannot hire employees who actually care about the job they do then shame on them. read more

Not even worth one-star. **YOU SHOULD NOT GET A MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP HERE.** I purchased a monthly membership a month ago and the cashier NEVER explained that they would automatically charge on my CC every month. So, I called and complained once I saw them charging on my CC again after the first month. An ignorant employee or owner who emailed me back and said there was an explanation at the bottom of the receipt so they were not giving my money back but canceled my member right away. So, they charged me $54.99 for nothing. WHAT A RIPOFF. read more

I came here and I got what I expected for the most part. I have a dog that sheds a lot and I know that no matter what car wash I go to, they will not be able to vacuum all of the hair up. With that being said, this car wash did a much better job at getting rid of the hair than a lot of others that I have been to. The dashboard and windows on the interior looked pretty good as well. I paid for the $28 wash which includes tire shining. I noticed that the tires did not look like they had been shined when they said the car was ready. I asked an employee about it and he immediately got another employee to shine them and they look great now. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because I think it was a little bit rushed and I would prefer it if they completely dried the exterior of my car. Overall, I think you should give this place a chance. I think the price is extremely fair for the quality that you receive and it is nice that you do not have to wait long. I see a lot of reviews that could have been solved by simply telling the employees what you need them to fix and to advocate for yourself. I was not impressed with my tires... so I asked them to shine them and they turned out great. They are more than willing to work with you and do seem to care about their job. read more

worst place ever. I got the highest offer available $45. yo clean inside and out. Do NOT come here if you want a detail oriented car wash! This place is useless!! We paid $40 plus tax for our car to be run through a gas station style car wash. That's it! When we asked them to dry them, we got attitude. Save yourself $$ and go anywhere else. This place stinks! We won't be back!! read more

So sad to see new management, new HIGHER prices, and less services for your $$$$. For $18 you get your car run through the automatic washings garage and that is all. I went to go get in my Honda Pilot and the inside was all dusty and the mats were not even shook out. I asked the attendant if my car had missed the vaccuum and she asked me, "How much did you pay?" I replied, " $18" She then said, " You have to pay $31 to get the inside of your car cleaned and vacuumed." WHAAAAAAT? Come back old Embassy!!!! We miss your vacuuming, hard working, cleaning inside and out old ways. I could always count on good service. Now, I'm off to find a new place to wash my car or pay myself the $31. read more

The staff is amazing, they do a very good job, they are professional, courteous, and friendly. This week was the first time I had been there since the ownership change. When I drove in I noticed a new name but was surprised when the new pricing was explained - prices went up a lot. I am sure inflation played a role, hoping the employees are benefitting from the price increase. I opted for the lowest price, $14 just to wash and dry the outside. Still, my car looked beautiful. I saw around 12 employees working outside. They are kept very busy, constant flow of cars. Unfortunately, due to the price increase, I will need to see if I can find another car wash that can clean the outside and inside of my car at a price lower than $36 (reason for only 4 stars). read more

Flagship Carwash - Car Wash Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

I wish I could give zero stars. Back when this was Embassy, it was awesome. Since Flagship took over the quality has gone down. Last weekend we paid $36 for an interior/exterior wash. What a waste of money! The seats are dirty, the cupholders were not cleaned, there is visible dirt on the interior doors, etc. Not sure what we got for our money aside from a so-so exterior wash because the interior looks as if it was not touched. We had planned on joining the unlimited wash program but after seeing this there is no way we are going forward with that. And we'll be heading to the car wash in Kingstowne for future car washes. read more

Recommend against taking a chance on this establishment. In fairness, on the rare occasion they have been staffed sufficiently, they have provided satisfactory service. But, they are more often understaffed and incapable of providing the services offered. I'm done taking a chance on Embassy being able to do what they say they can do. read more

I've been here three times and unless you enjoy a [barely] mediocre car wash, save your money and don't bother going. I guess I kept thinking that maybe the last time was an "off" day but it's actually gotten worse. Each and every time, I've had to have them wipe the interior down again, the door jambs, vacuum the car where they didn't even bother to do it, and wash the mats (as some examples), all which are part of the advertised service. It's not exactly cheap, and I don't know how they stay in business - maybe because they are really one of the few car wash places in town. They will try to get you to buy the monthly subscription, but after a trial period it significantly goes up in price. The outside wash is mostly fine, but the interior cleaning is totally lacking. The cupholders weren't wiped, the storage parts of the door weren't wiped down, the center console needed a wipe, and I asked them to vacuum the back of the SUV but they didn't do that either. My husband recently went, and his windows were dirtier after the car wash than when he arrived! If you decide to patronize this establishment, know that you will have to inspect every piece of your car to make sure it gets done properly -- after all, you're paying for a service you're not really getting. Honestly, it's probably better to find another car wash. We won't be back. read more

Critical: Quality I had a car wash today(platinum) and they didnt vacuum at all and the floor mats were out of place. The roof dirt was also still there and there were even stains on the hood I will not be coming here again and I recommend that no one else does either, fix your service. Also i saw no difference between the regular and platinum car wash so dont get premium. read more

I have never really paid for car washes or cleaning before, but I decided to splurge this weekend and try the place across the street from me that's usually pretty busy. I got the full service wash + new car scent + rain x + full interior armor-all. It came out to ~$30, which I thought was fair. I waited for about 25 minutes while the car rolled through the automatic washer and then one lady wiped everything down thoroughly. After I drove away and throughout the day afterwards I noted several things that have since made me angry: 1. My windows and mirrors are actually far dirtier than before I paid for the wash, especially the interior windows. Every window and mirror is smeared with a cloudy coating of grime. I ended up going home and getting out some windex and towels to clean my rear view mirror and a layer of black grime came off on the towel. As the sun set, my windshield and rear window were so dirty it was actually dangerous, seriously limiting my visibility. I'll attach a photo so you can get an idea. It was like frosted privacy glass or something! 2. I gathered some trash from the console and floor before dropping it off (as i was waiting in line), and specifically told the attendant who took the car that *everything* on the back seat was trash. He nodded affirmatively. Nothing was thrown away, my instructions ignored. 3. The armor-all inside was applied in such a way as there was a wet slick of it on every surface. I think you're supposed to wipe down the surfaces after applying to leave a shine, but everything was actually *wet* with it, coming off on hands and clothes. 4. Despite paying $5 for the "new car scent", I was surprised to find that there was no air freshener included. The car did smell fine, but for the cost, I expected something more. Please don't pay to have your car made *more dirty*. I believe they are carelessly using filthy rags to haphazardly wipe down the surfaces. Avoid! read more

Flagship Carwash - cloudy window covered in so much grime i could barely see out of it immediately after $30 wash. - Car Wash Near Me - Springfield, Virginia

After frequenting the Flagship location in Vienna which is great. However if you expect that level of service or cleanliness of your vehicle you will be severely disappointed. I tried the Springfield location early in the week and noticed they did not even bother to wipe the tire spray over the tires. I gave it another chance later in the week with another vehicle and they didn't even bother to wipe the windshield where they wrote in marker on the windshield. To top this all, they increased their prices but service went down!?! read more

This car wash is a hit or miss. I can pay extra for wheel treatment, and the staff at the first stage of the wash sprays it was water and does not brush it at all. Many times, they slightly vacuum the interior (in and out, in under 5 seconds). The car is not completely dried off at the end, they use dirty towels over and over, leaving smudges and watermarks on the interior glass. On the plus side, during the weekday, I can be through the wash in under 10 minutes. Avoid this place on the weekend as it may take over 30 minutes. read more

I had a lot of tickets leftover that I purchased up front from embassy car wash before flagship bought them. Now I am told that they no longer accept them. Apparently there was a deadline for converting the tickets, which was "in the contract with the previous owner", but letting the customers know that seems to be bad for business. I'm not sure this sort of thing is legal in Virgina, but wouldn't be surprised. Since finding out by going the legal route is not worth the money, I will instead make sure friends, family, and neighbors will know. Not that their reputation could sink any lower anyway... read more

They don't honor their own coupons! I did the Platinum was and express interior package. It was more off a quick wash, vacuum and a wipe down. They did not clean the wheels. Visible brake dust is still on all wheels. The door jams or the trunk. It's embarrassing how low their standards for business is. I will not recommend anyone to give their business to them. I wasted $60. You're better off running your car through a gas station car wash. read more

I just moved into the area and have come to this location three times. The first time was "trial and error", but the last two times were on the money. What I found was a person who, now I always look for because she takes her time to make sure my car is clean. You also have to order an "Express Interior", because that is her world. I know I'm not the only one who has seen this, because she's always busy. But I know I'll be going back now that I know what works. read more
