They worked like machines -- just two movers were able to get a big dresser, desk/bookshelf, chair, mattress, mirror, and ~10 boxes/bags of varying sizes and fragilities across Brooklyn within two hours. I know they would've moved even more items I hadn't planned to take, with similar timing. They wrapped and protected my prized dresser and even moved two large plants for me without a single leaf lost! I was truly amazed at the speed, efficiency, and care they showed throughout the move. I would absolutely use their services again and will tell my friends (and everyone I meet) to use them for their next NYC move. I'm currently sitting in my new apartment feeling so much lighter because of how easy this experience was. The Chinese Mover "branding" may seem a little sketch compared to the big names, but in NYC especially, the best companies are often no-nonsense operations without flashy websites or marketing. From filling out the form online to get a quote to answering all my questions and producing a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for my building to the unloading to finishing the job, everyone I spoke to were very pleasant and very responsive. On moving day, I was stuck in traffic and took me longer to arrive than expected. I called them to let them know and they informed me that the crew start their clock upon arrival at the destination unfortunately and had to pay extra time, but I understood. I received a call when the movers were on site and their names were Bryan and Francis. I absolutely had all my confidence in them knowing exactly what to do and they had all the right equipment. More importantly, since moving is such a high stress event and too many things can go wrong, I need a mover team who is very reliable and takes good care of my stuffs on the stressful day. Jerry and his team (3 people, father and son family business) did exactly that. Jerry is very responsive to my texts and calls prior to the move. My second move was interstates and I needed help moving from my apartment to a reserved Pods container. Jerry reminded me about things that I needed to prepare which was very helpful. On the day of move, they arrived on time and super efficient and quick. My building was very strict with movers paperwork and his team got approval without issues. I was very amazed by their packing/loading skills and speed, especially impressed by their ability to tightly pack my 2 bedrooms apartment (I have a good amount of stuffs) into a container with the consideration of interstates transport.
