As others have mentioned, it's super easy to sign up online and book your unit. This is probably where the pros end. Now for the cons: - Parking. What a disaster.... the lot is incredibly tiny to begin with, so if there's a moving truck already there, good luck. However, there has been constant construction happening next door, so the parking lot is non-existent. The last few times I've come here, I had to find street parking. When moving my stuff out yesterday, we had to park on Northern Blvd blocking the bike lane cause the construction guys wouldn't let us in to the parking lot, and there was a giant truck already there. - One of the elevators has been down for months so you need to use the one at the far end of the building. - I had a unit on the 6th floor. It's advertised as climate controlled but that's debatable. I went there over the summer and it was HOT. - Prices went up after a few months, to be expected. But when there are no improvements being made along with the inconvenience of no parking and elevators being down for months, this place just is not worth it. Save your money and go to any of the other storage places in the area.

I needed the spot for two weeks The person booked a very large unit and assured me that Public Storage receives shipper deliveries every time, and I'll be good. Plus I can always cancel at no penalty. This was a phone call and the agent was persistent.. so I signed the document on the phone. The interesting part: On August 21, I got a call from an uncouth staff of the 31-08 Northern Boulevard location, informing me that the shipper was with my things and I need to be available right now to pick it up. I explain that I'm at work, but I can be there in 15 minutes... please help me hold the six 52lb boxes. The agent who sold me this unit said it's okay. She starts speaking out of manner... She goes: you spoke to an agent, but this is the property and we "don't" receive people's packages. I'm like I don't know what to do, I'm working off the info I got from your colleague, and she goes you had a lease document. Why didn't you read it. She said I'll have to figure it out. Long story short, the shipper returned six 52lb boxes back to my Chicago shipping address. I called this location to explain what happened and the rude supervisor's retort was "so do you want me to vacate the unit?" I said vacate the unit, and please I want a complete refund. The supervisor goes "you are not getting no refund asides from the lock fee" and hangs up. I don't know who is ready for the stress and pain I've been through with these folks, but in my life, I would never be using them again.. There are better options.

Under no circumstances let them talk you into buying a warranty. Even to file a claim it costs $85 to have someone come out, or you can do it yourself for free--and receive an auto-email reply that your claim is rejected without a valid reason. Mattress I bought is pretty good. The frame, though was delivered bent. In hindsight, should have gone across the street to PC Richards to at least shop around. Anyway, decent enough help to buy the mattress. No help at all for after-sale support. And decent price. I got a friends and family price--NEVER PAY FULL PRICE. ALWAYS ASK FOR A BETTER PRICE or walk.

The third I asked for it to be opened at the store and it rose to about 11", after one week of waiting for it to ride. I was not given a refund and forced to choose to stay with mattress firm. Despite their defective products , they don't refund your money. Those that are thinking of purchasing from this company, think twice. Buy online if you can as Amazon will grant refunds. They specialize in selling Sealy's products, including Tempur-Pedic and Stearns & Foster. Being a traditional mattress store, they tend to sell higher end mattresses rather than pure foam, vacuum-sealed mattresses. You can also buy bedding furniture, such as mattress frames, drawers, night stands, and mirrored dressers. Delivery and assembly is covered as well, which is a huge plus!
