Authentic Afghan halal food with a wide variety of dishes. The chapli kabob was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the Kabuli pulao tasted truly amazing and well balanced. The chicken wings were cooked just right crispy on the outside and tender inside. We also tried the bolani, which was delicious and full of flavor. The service was attentive and welcoming, adding to the overall great dining experience.Definitely a place worth visiting again.

Polite and helpful service. The food was very good. I ordered the Chapli Kabob and it was spiced and pan fried just perfectly. Simple clean place to dine in. My only very minor suggestion is to not place the kabob on top of the naan. It made the nice naan soggy for me. Regardless a return trip to try other items in the near future.

Amaaaaaazing food! I drove 30 min just to try this spot and it was awesome! Owner was super chill and helpful. Loved that it was a sit down spot and wasn't crowded at all so all them yummies were focused and made with love. The kebabs are beautifully seasoned and grilled. Kabuli rice was amazing. Too. Came here for the chapli kebabs and ended up getting the tender beef and grilled chicken too. All amazing stuff. Definitely going to be a regular here.

I was in the area and needed a place to grab lunch, I saw other reviews on Yelp! And decided to try this restaurant out! The aroma hits you immediately of yummy flavors and you can see the marinated meats in the front display. The ambiance is casual, with plenty of seating and they also offer to go as well. Service was a bit slow, but it was because they were preparing a catering order. Otherwise the gentleman at the front was pleasant and friendly. I got the kobideb w naan- it was delicious!!! The kebab was fresh off the grill and steaming when places on the naan. And the naan was soft and was able to capture all the juices from the kebab perfectly. The portion was large and super satisfying!!! Glad I stopped by and got try some amazing food!

Smell when you walk in is wonderful. Tachmid was so attentive and our lunch was great. I was craving a roasted savory lamb shank and was not disappointed. My entire entree was delightful. Ordered: Kabuli Palao With Lamb Shank Qabuli palao rice with lamb shank & chopped tomato salad. Comes with naan and extra sauce from the glaze. Also served with both green chutney & white sauce. Also ordered a 1/4 lb Burger with seasoned fries (white sauce, seasoning and a red sauce) This was exactly what I was craving. There is a 100% chance of a return. **** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ****

Came in today to do a take out order for Mantu and Badamjan(fried eggplant). Both items were very delicious! First, the Mantu is basically a dumpling type bun filled with meat along with tomato paste, yogurt, lentils, and spices. The serving you receive is big enough to be a meal on its own. And it's incredibly satisfying as well! The Badamjan with Naan was amazing as well! They also have Kebob, rice, and baklava. The location was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend trying this location out. You will not be disappointed!

Lamb Kabob

This place has been hit or miss. The only time we really enjoyed the food was when we dined in. Every pickup order has been disappointing. We ordered the lamb kabob plate with Kabuli rice, and they charged an extra $3.50 for the rice, yet the portion was still small. The kabob pieces were also very small for a $15 dish, especially compared to other places that do a much better job. The bread was not fresh. The only item we actually liked was the chapli kabob, and that's the only thing I would recommend. Overall, the food is overpriced and not worth it.

Yelp says they're open 'til 3am! (turns out it is really 2am, but I'm not complaining). It was staffed by a busy mom and her daughter, a delightful young college student who was very cheerful and pleasant for 1:30am. I could not decide what to choose from their menu, so they helped me and I came home with their Chicken Korma and Burani Eggplant. Plus a heavy foil-wrapped Afghan naan, along with a couple little containers of sauces. The mom did everything! She was putting things away and prepping to close up shop and somehow cooked the entrees while I chatted with her 'front of house' staff. They are working very hard! I tore into the food when I got home and it was delicious. I liked the eggplant best--satisfied my craving for middle eastern food for sure. The chicken korma struck me more as Afghan comfort food. It was good but more middle of the road. Will definitely come back hopefully sooner rather than later and try more options!

The portions are more than enough for one person and good for the price! Service is awesome! Restaurant is not crazy busy so you can hear your friends and stay as much as you like! Nicely decorated for taking photo! Oh! I forget to mention their tea and rollet cake! Try it ! You won't be disappointed! Definitely it'll be our place from now on! We went again and our guest enjoyed a lot ! I wanted to update my review after our dinner tonight. We ordered the Soltani and shish kebab, and OMG!!! They were absolutely THE BEST kebabs we've had in the DFW area! so incredibly tender, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We also enjoyed tea and Swiss rolls after dinner, which was the perfect ending to our meal. A special thank you to Mr. Omid for making our anniversary dinner even more memorable by lighting a candle for us. Such a thoughtful gesture! We left very happy and will definitely be back. !

The koobideh itself was good, definitely tasty, but more in the "solid" range rather than something that really stands out compared to other spots I've tried. I also had the mast o khiar. Super fresh, really flavorful, and a big portion. I like to eat it with the bread and alongside the koobideh, which might not be traditional but I love it. I also tried the tahdig gheymeh that my friend ordered. First time having it and I'm glad I did. The rice had a nice crunch and the stew was flavorful. Not sure I'd order it normally, but worth trying. The restaurant was pretty quiet during lunch, just one other table, so service was quick and smooth. I left full and satisfied. Overall, a good spot with generous portions and solid flavors. Not the absolute best Persian food I've had, but still a place I'd come back to when I'm in the area.

I recently stopped by Shahrzad Mediterranean Market & Grill in Richardson, and I have to commend…read morethem on one thing: portion sizes. Being a buffet, the food is plenty. You can pile your plate high enough to feed a small medieval village, which is good, because you're going to need all those calories to recover from the sheer emotional confusion of the experience. The portions are endless, but the flavor profile has apparently been locked in a witness protection program, because it is nowhere to be found. I ate a mountain of food that tasted politely like nothing, as if the spices took an extended vacation and forgot to notify the kitchen. To make matters worse, I scooped up some Baghali Polo, which visually looked so authentic and picturesque that it belonged in a travel magazine. Unfortunately, eating it felt less like enjoying a traditional Persian meal and more like stepping on a tactical minefield. One second you're having a pleasant texture, and the next you are crunching down unexpectedly on hard, undercooked rice bits that threaten to violently separate your molars from your jaw. The only redeeming grace of the entire operation is that the owner is genuinely one of the nicest, most welcoming human beings on the planet. He greeted me with such warmth that I couldn't even bring myself to look angry, forcing me to sit there at the all-you-can-eat bar chewing my acoustic-hazard rice with a pained, polite smile while questioning every choice that led me to that table.
