    Naan, biryani, mutton kebab masala
    Vijay N.

After they moved to Parker rd location which is very convenient for me, decided to give them another shot. Of course their timings are still strangely inconvenient (open at 3pm). Tried calling them at least 20 times from 3pm to 4pm and they never answered even once nor returned my calls. When I mentioned the same to the girl who took my payment, she asked me to test it by calling again to make sure I am calling the right number, sure enough it went to her cell Phone in her jeans back pocket and she looked sheepishly at the owner who instead of acknowledging and apologizing looked at me as if I'm harassing him and just shrugged his shoulders Saying they're very busy (clearly not busy from looking at the half empty restaurant which is not that big anyway). So u must be wondering how the order was placed if they're not answering the phone? My wife ordered online from her phone. About the food: Ordered Mutton kebab curry, afghani naan & chicken biryani boneless (it was bone in) The mutton kebab masala was over priced @ $25 and not even enough for one person. Taste wise was exceedingly spicy Biryani was not good either - strangely had specks of red pepper mixed in excessively like hot sauce or some kind of chutney. Biryani is not supposed to be like that, on top of that, it was bone which is not what I ordered. Only good thing that we liked was the naan Too bad that their service and food both suck and even worse was the vibe I got from the owner and clientele present that they only prefer a certain type of clientele (from Country of origin). Strange again since the girl working there as server is Indian.

This place is amazing. Food is packed with so much flavor and spice. Ordered the chicken kabob kerahi, the Afghani naan and a chicken tikka platter. We will be back again soon.

I enjoyed the karahi here, it was one of the better ones I've had in Dallas. Service wasn't great but that's honestly expected.

We got the shrimp appetizer as well which was horrible. So much chili powder in it. The restaurant is nice if you pick the right food. Can get liquor served.

We really liked the parathi grill wraps (chicken and beef) but thought the keema mutter was a bit bland despite having heat. It was a little better after a couple days but still mediocre. I saw that they had Haleem on the menu, which I fell in love with at the aforementioned amazing place, so we went back to get Haleem the next Friday. Also tried beef boti kabab (iirc). I didn't care for either one. The Haleem bore no resemblance to the other one I had. It's flavor was just "hot" but no actual flavor. (The Haleem from Dumka otoh is just as hot or hotter but simply bursting with flavor). The boti kabob had the texture of a crab cake and was served on a burger bun but it just tasted like meat paste. All in all, I would consider going back for grilled kabobs or the parathi wraps, but I won't bother with their curries. I feel kind of bad honestly, but I just like more flavor and with Dumka right there, there's no competition.

My wife and I have been searching high and low for a great Indian restaurant in DFW, and until now,…read morewe had not found a place that felt like our "home" spot the way we had back in Virginia. We decided to give Delhi6 a try for our anniversary after hearing so many good things, and I'm glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the experience started off right. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was upscale without feeling overly formal, and we were immediately greeted by the host outside. They looked up our reservation and got us seated quickly. We started with the tandoori wings at a 3/4 spice level and the samosas. Both were very flavorful. The wings had a nice char and plenty of seasoning without just being "hot for the sake of being hot." Next time I'm definitely going 4/4 because I like some serious spice. The samosas were crispy, well seasoned, and went perfectly with the chutneys. For drinks, my wife had the lychee martini and I had a Don Julio margarita. Both were really good and fit the anniversary dinner vibe perfectly. One of the biggest highlights of the night was speaking with Joshua, one of the managers. I asked him whether they could make something similar to a traditional mixed grill since it is no longer on the menu. I'm used to mixed grills with different combinations of chicken, lamb, shrimp, boti, fish tikka, etc. Instead of simply telling me it wasn't available, Joshua went out of his way to see what they could put together for us. That type of service makes a difference. He also recommended that we try their butter sauce and explained that it was made by a chef who received specialized training in India's capital. I'm glad we listened because the sauce was rich, smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the standouts of the meal. You could tell there was more depth to it than the overly sweet butter sauces you sometimes get at other places. Between the food, drinks, presentation, atmosphere, and especially the service, Delhi6 delivered the kind of experience we had been looking for. Joshua and the staff made our anniversary dinner feel special rather than just another dinner reservation. After searching all over DFW for an Indian restaurant we could consistently come back to, Delhi6 may have finally ended our search.

We ate pretty early around 5pm, and it was very empty, which was nice because it meant our food came fast. We tried the chicken shawarma bowl and the beef shawarma bowls. The food tasted delicious, but did seem a little less fresh, like maybe it had been sitting for a while, which would make sense because it wasn't exactly prime dinner hour yet, so maybe perhaps left from lunch? Either way, the portions were great, enough to take home leftovers. And the flavor of the meat was superb. They were so warm and kind to our family, especially our two year old. I appreciated the thoughtful touches the staff added to make our dining experience special. It definitely gave the cozy feeling of a mom and pop diner but mediterranean style! I loved it. We will definitely be coming back.
