Only a stone's throw away from the Olympia Station, this place is so small that it's easy to miss. For folks looking for a quiet place to chat or some caffeine with a side of WiFi, this place fits the bill. Bear in mind, The Brew Job is no Starbucks. There is no indie music or up and coming artists playing in the background, or a fancy gift card for future purposes. The layout is narrow with super small tables and an even smaller tiny counter. Conversations are bound to be overheard, the smell of the coffee will permeate the room, and patrons are typically in and out constantly. Thankfully the staff is both efficient and friendly. It's a cash only operation, but it's nice knowing they also take Octopus cards. While the cappuccino and ice coffee are my go-tos (under $40), the real motivation for being here is their reasonably fast WiFI and solid, intimate meeting space. There is a parking garage across the street and some bicycle parking areas for commuters. Don't come here in a group of course, but for solo sipping and/or some intimate conversation, this is a quality neighborhood spot.

It is quite a small place and recommended to groups larger than 3 people. The espresso is quite mild and slightly sour with a tense of fruit aroma. This is definitely a good place to slow down in a busy city and the place to go for people who appreciate third generation coffee.

When I saw the word 'brekkie', I immediately thought of Australia - it means 'breakfast' in their lingo. I'm thinking this cafe is possibly be Australian inspired :) This dish was prepared by the lady behind the counter with a small portable stove. I can feel the love as she delicately prepares this for us! We also ordered the Lavender Latte and the Matcha Magic. What is a Matcha Magic you ask? It is a Matcha Latte with a shot of espresso! Perfect for those who loves Matcha but also needed that caffeine boost lol. The Lavender Latte, surprisingly, does not have the usual overpowering lavender kick... it was very light and soothing. Recommendation: Would Why50 consider making a Lavender Mocha? ^^ Chocolate actually goes well together with the lavender taste ;) Keep up the great work!

Not long after I got in, 8:55 AM on Sunday, people started coming in droves. In fact, 15 minutes after I arrived, the place was almost full. For my breakfast, I ordered an iced green tea and the Eggs, Chorizo, Avocado and Toast. The eggs were perfectly poached and matched well with the salty chorizo. The avocados were also a nice touch. As for the tea, although I was not wowed, the presentation was quite good. On my first trio here, I also had the fortune of trying the latte which was very good. I would definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast.

I loveeee avocados in all forms....in tortilla soup, fried, sliced in burgers, homemade guac dip, and straight from a raw cut half sprinkled with sea salt. Just throw them at my face. I'll eat it. So I loved the combination of avocado diced with almonds, alfalfa sprouts, thinly sliced radish, and whatever else magic was on there. All that covered over one piece of sliced bread. The other slice had a perfect poached egg. A bite of egg and a forkful of avocado mix was just scrumptious. I will have to recreate that at home. Iced soy vanilla latte was dynamite! I think it kept me up while adjusting to time change since it was day 2 of traveling. Lastly, had to go with a take away dessert. The buttery baked fig dessert was gone in 4 bites. It was a little on the dry side. But I saw potential in the making....beautiful piece of baked good.

It's just a 4 minute walk from Exit D, Jordan MTR station- convenient for anyone who's around TST. MUST-TRY: signature toast with nine homemade jams ($48)! This is a great way to sample their homemade jams, which they sell in jars for $48-68 HKD each. The toast is very crisp and the jams are bomb. My favorite is the lychee one! My foodie friend got the full English breakfast and said it was great. I didn't try it so I can't give my opinion but he gives his seal of approval and recommends. PASS: Pastas and risottos probably aren't the best thing to order here. Risotto is a hit or miss dish for me- I got a pumpkin risotto and the flavor was fine but it was overcooked and too mushy for my liking. Just keep in mind that they specialize in breakfast/brunch items and stick to those dishes. All in all, worth trying out. I recommend Let's Jam if you're a brunch lover!

Later in the afternoon we were in the area again, trying once more to find the coffee shop we couldn't find in the morning, and we did finally find it but then discovered they didn't take cards (arrrrg) so we happily went back to Noc (where they do take cards, thank you very much). Halfway was our occasional morning base, with solid Western breakfast fare: scrambled eggs on sourdough or avocado toast with smoked salmon and a solid latte and matcha latte. That said, breakfast here veers towards the more basic: scrambled eggs on toast with a side salad and nicely plated pink mayonnaise. The sourdough bread was a good multigrain, but overall a surprisingly standard rendition of a breakfast open sandwich. In all, a nice spot with friendly service, a modern setting, good atmosphere and solid a-okay cafe fare that is beautifully plated.

The restaurant is located right on Temple Street, easy to find. The inside is small, cozy, and clean, decorated in a rustic style with maybe 10 tables or so. When I arrived at about 10:30 AM on a Saturday there were several open tables, but by the time I left (a little after 11) the restaurant was full, so you may need to wait a bit if you arrive during rush times. The ordering process is order-at-the-counter style, with a staffer bringing your food and/or drinks when they're ready. Like many places in Hong Kong, Studio Caffeine does not seem to have drip coffee available, so if you're just a plain black coffee drinker like me, you'll have to be okay with an Americano or a shot of espresso. My Americano was pretty good, though not the best, but the prices here are extremely reasonable so no complaints. As mentioned, the English breakfast comes in a few different varieties. I went with the "Classic," which consists of scrambled eggs, baked beans, toast, bacon, pork sausage, and salad. Each item was very good (and again, excellent value for the price, though I would have liked to see maybe a little more protein and a little less lettuce) and I left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. Overall, a fast and delicious experience at Studio Caffeine and I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a fast western-style breakfast in the area.
