The hostess will ask if you want to be seated inside or outside. HK humidity is no joke. No way would I be able to sip a hot one outside. The AC inside is perfect even with the open entrance. The furniture has that old Chinese antique with lots of 80s tchotchkes. Here is what we ordered: - Longan Honey Latte (iced & hot) - Black Sugar Latte (hot) All of our drinks were excellent as was the service. Great place to relax and chit chat with your friends. Halfway was our occasional morning base, with solid Western breakfast fare: scrambled eggs on sourdough or avocado toast with smoked salmon and a solid latte and matcha latte. The artful plating stands out, with food and drinks served on vibrant enamelled porcelain with intricate designs. That said, breakfast here veers towards the more basic: scrambled eggs on toast with a side salad and nicely plated pink mayonnaise. The sourdough bread was a good multigrain, but overall a surprisingly standard rendition of a breakfast open sandwich. In all, a nice spot with friendly service, a modern setting, good atmosphere and solid a-okay cafe fare that is beautifully plated.

This joint is no frills, open 24 hours (perfect for our early departure), and spacious. No complaints, will come again for the early morning cha chaan tang experience.

The two photos are from different trips, but I have tried a few things here. I have had the tomato beef macaroni, curry fish balls, French toast, and pineapple butter buns. Everything was amazing, and I think their tomato beef macaroni is my favorite here. Their Hong Kong milk tea is also perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. It is not too bitter or too sweet, just perfect (I like sweet things but not too sweet). The restaurant is a bit tight, but they do offer takeout. Even when it gets busy, customers are usually friendly and quick, especially if they see a long line and they are finishing up soon.

There's only about 20 seats, most of which are either bar seating or tiny tables), and it's incredibly cramped, but there's a quick turnaround. You can order to go for a faster line too. We ordered the milk tea, satay beef sandwich, bbq pork macaroni soup, truffle egg sandwich, and egg pineapple bao. The sandwiches were decidedly average, but we really enjoyed the egg pineapple bun! And you definitely need to get the milk tea here. The hot one is smaller and comes with condensed milk, while the cold version is larger but comes without condensed milk. Both are extremely concentrated, but delicious. If you're sensitive to caffeine though, it'll keep you up. Best of all, everything was so cheap - 160 HKD (about $20 USD). Highly recommend checking this place out!

The price here is similar to Starbuck which is just two shops aside, but what you can get extra is the quiet and comfort environment. As you may know I'm not a fan of Starbuck, it is too popular in Hong Kong, what they called a place to relax and gathering with friends, blahh, never work. So, go check this café when people in Jordan are all squeezing into the tiny Starbuck, you can always find a seat, and I mean sofa seat or window-side seat (Surprise!) I love this cafe because hotel knows privacy, plenty of spaces are provided between seats, you will not feel the tense between other customers. It is a place I can work whole day without disturbance, oh, and not to mention the free wifi! The coffee is good and wait staff are nice, so what can I ask for more? Oh yes, one point need to be added, as a café of Eaton hotel, you can also allow to use the super clean and tidy washroom located next to lobby, what a good point to a girl! The only thing to remind you is to get a scarf because the air-con here is pretty strong. And I'll see you there around!

Don't let the giant queue scare you, and yes there is almost always a queue. Despite that, it moves fairly fast. Its definitely not a place where you sit and chat with your friends. They expect you to sit down, order right away, eat it, and leave right away. But I guess many popular places are like that around Hong Kong.. Seating-wise its very cramp here. You'll be sitting basically elbow to elbow with strangers next and behind you. But that doesn't matter because their desserts are so wonderful! Some of my favorites are the tong yuen (glutinous rice balls) that come come with peanut sauce. The one that comes in the ginger soup is good too (for this dish, the balls have fillings inside, such as sesame or peanut sauce). Another good one is their sorbets, which are perfect for a hot day.

Heyyyy, do you like durian? Or even want to give it a shot despite the crazy smell it may emit or…read morethe odd taste it might exude? I believe one of the ways to try durian without having to be afraid of it is by tasting it through the various dessert dishes here at this cute little place. Having no idea that this place existed, I was pretty thankful to my new local friend who suggested this place. It's located in a small little street, similar to an alley way, and by the time you get near it, you'll definitely see a long line of people waiting to get in. The wait itself isn't that bad. Most people just come here to eat dessert and leave right after. Once seated, my friends and I spent some time browsing through the extensive dessert menu and settled on trying the durian with crystal seeds (one of the many popular dishes) and watermelon and lychee with crystal seeds. In summary, the watermelon and lychee were ok. The watermelon ended up being too watery for my taste and the lychee wasn't too memorable. Both tasted decent but definitely not a must try. For the durian, this was surprisingly good! I am normally not a durian fan (the stench gets to me sometime) but here, you couldn't really smell too much of the durian in the dish. The taste of durian was also soften quite a bit, making this dish a bit more doable for those who do not like durian. I found this dish to be pretty tasty and not too sweet and it was unique to eat it with the crystal seeds. Overall, this is a great spot to stop by for desserts. If you're not a fan of durian but can tolerate the smell of it wafting through the restaurant, this place is great to try other HK desserts at an affordable price.
