He stated some are better than the others for durability like Nucore & Durolux and still need to see the different ones that are offered . The one I was choosing was less expensive and happened to match better but when I tried the sample at home it did scratch easily with a flathead(I did as an experiment) as he had previously mentioned. He said not to drag furniture or anything that may scratch it. He said I needed a blue bottom cover for the floor underneath but u are if I actually need it . I decided to head back the next day and exchange the one I had with the one that was more durable to last longer since it would not be warrantied if any scratches were to occur. I also purchased a tool to install it if needed . I wanted to purchase and match a marble piece that I already have in the area going into the other rooms. He took me to the area and we picked a piece out. Additionally, I had the transition piece to match. He loaded the car for me. When I returned the next day it was busier. Another guy assisted me but was told to go to another customer and someone else helped me. He took the ones I purchased out of the car but there was a bit of a delay at the registers when I returned because customers were also returning and purchasing. 1 STAR -- BUYER BEWARE. I WOULD NEVER SHOP AT PROSOURCE AGAIN…read more This was one of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever had. I purchased tile for several bathrooms from ProSource in Pompano Beach with my decorator. We worked with a salesperson named Fanny, who took photographs showing exactly how the tile was supposed to be used. We were assured the order was correct. It wasn't. After I placed the order, I was told shipping would not be a problem. Weeks later, I was hit with a $5,000 shipping charge, which after a huge amount of back-and-forth was reduced to $1,250. I paid it. Then the tile arrived -- AND IT WAS THE WRONG TILE. My decorator and I repeatedly contacted ProSource and tried to resolve the problem. Their response was that the number on their paperwork matched what they shipped. But the number on the paperwork was not the tile we ordered and did not match the tile shown in the photographs taken when we placed the order. Instead of taking responsibility and fixing the problem, ProSource refused to resolve it. After countless calls and correspondence, I was forced to hire an attorney. Because ProSource would not correct the situation, I had to purchase replacement tile elsewhere for $7,400. I have the receipts, photographs, correspondence, and documentation. And it gets worse. When I asked ProSource to obtain the correct tile, Vivian told me that it was discontinued and that there was nothing they could do. I relied on that information and purchased replacement tile elsewhere. A few weeks later, I walked into Floor & Decor with a friend and saw the exact tile sitting there. My attorney subsequently demanded that ProSource reimburse me for the replacement tile. ProSource's position was that because their paperwork showed the tile they delivered, they don't owe me anything -- and that I could take them to court. That's their idea of customer service. A $7,400 replacement purchase. A $1,250 shipping charge. The wrong tile. Countless hours trying to get the problem resolved. And ultimately, an attorney just to get ProSource to take the complaint seriously. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. In my experience, ProSource chose not to take responsibility or work with me to find a reasonable solution. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before placing an order here. Check every item, every number, every detail, and get everything in writing. I will never shop at ProSource again.

I don't remember the name of our salesperson, only that I was amazed that he was still in high school but so poised and knowledgeable about countertops! We decided on a quartzite slab for our kitchen and got a very reasonable price. Half Price Countertops cuts, fabricates, and installs the slab. We had to wait for our cabinets to be installed first, but as soon as they were done we called, and Half Price Countertops was immediately ready to start the installation process. They did a beautiful job and the kitchen counters look amazing! We did have one small glitch where our dishwasher did not fit after installation. We called the company and spoke to the owner. He said he wanted to make sure we were completely happy and within a couple of days someone was there to fix the issue. Under the consult of Donald Rancourt, I bought tiles and grout at Home Depot. His worker did a terrible job! Grout color was uneven and faded when dry. The company denied any responsibility for the problem, and refused to fix the problem. They suggested spraying a sealer on tiles, and assured me that this would fix problem. When dry, tiles looked exactly the same as before! I paid over $12,000 for the entire job! The owner Donald Rancourt is very difficult to work with. He has very poor communication skills. He denies what he had said, or doesn't remember, or says that he never said it. Get every single detail in writing!
