Very disappointed by owner Judge who sold me a overcharged Vanity with poor craftsmanship made in China, marked ($895) on clearance I was not happy with the purchase and contacted him 24 hours after the purchase with the vanity still in the box for a refund and he refused stating no refunds I found it very odd him not wanting to give me a refund so I looked the product up online and found it ($575). That's probably why he did not give me a refund. He robbed me for ($400) I took it as a learning experience and what I learn is not to deal with the Joshua Tree vanity store ever again,, Sharing my experience with you so you don't make the same mistake I did there's no custom pieces in that store. The Joshua Tree is a rather nifty little furniture home decorator type of store that's been around for a long time and place I stopped by many times, often purchasing some really good items at rock bottom bargain prices. The amazing thing about The Joshua Tree is how absolutely chucked full of things it is and the variety of the items; someone must have excelled at the old game of phone both packing in college. Everything from the bathroom sinks to huge mirrors, pictures, chairs, a big organ, lamps and just about all sorts of stuff. Matter of fact it is so full of items and though I don't view myself as having much of a beer gut (please, I can do without any comments on that) I sort of had suck it in to navigate the narrow pathway that barely exist separating everything. Another nice point about shopping here is the friendliness, patients and helpfulness of the owner and his staff who have always accommodated me in every possible way. I had a lot of frustration trying to find nice reasonably priced vanities online and at different stores like Home depot and Lowes, was referred to The Joshua Tree and am so happy to have found what I wanted. Very knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy. Disa helped me narrow down choices and gave me a great price without haggling, the quality of the cabinets is superior, cheap prompt delivery. Also she drove to my home to deliver a different style of handles that I preferred! I misplaced one connector hose and damaged another, unable to find the right size to replace at Home Depot they gave them to me for free! Omg! The customer service in this place is thee best I've ever had! I came in several times to look for a vanity (I'm very indecisive) and they were always wonderful! They walk around with you or give you your space when needed. If there is a vanity, sink, faucet, or countertop that they don't have in stock they'll go out of their way to find it for you. If you're getting your purchase delivered they follow up. The vanities are all real wood and amazing price! I ended up needing an extra piece for my quartz backsplash and they called 4 different shops to find me a matching piece had someone bring it to me...AND DIDNT EVEN CHARGE ME ! I've been searching all over for a new bathroom vanity and this is by far the best place I have found. Absolutely amazing service and great prices. I have not written a review before but the service at Joshua Tree went above and beyond. Judge and Disa were amazing to work with. We purchased bathroom vanities and faucets for four bathrooms. Judge went out of his way to find the perfect vanity for each room. We shopped around at many different stores and looked at many online sites and had no luck. In most retail stores, we couldn't even get someone to help us. The experience at Joshua Tree was totally different. We were welcomed from the time we entered the store and were given personal attention throughout the entire process. We assumed we might find a vanity for one room but by the end of the process we had selected vanities for every room. We are very satisfied with the quality of the product and we will definitely shop here again. NOT FRIENDLY SERVICE!! BUYER BEWARE.I spotted an L shaped executive desk in their shop and 5 days later my girlfriend bought it for me as a surprise last Saturday.She got a good deal on it because everything is %50 off so i was very excited.Being the desk is like 400 lbs she told him we didn't have a pick up truck and well be by Tues to take it home.We had the truck but it was down pouring rain at 530 and they close at 6.We called them and said we would be there Sat morning to pick it up being both us work until 5-530 on weekdays and the guy said it was OK.Next day owner calls my girlfriend at work and very rudely says "i don't care what he said yesterday,i want it out of my store today by 6pm or it'll be out on the street." So i hired a guy with a truck to help and took the rest of the day off of work and went up to the store.When i got there they had moved it back into the backroom and the first thing i noticed was they took out two drawers and put them on top of the desk and there were 3 large white scuff marks across the top.They also had taken the L apart into two pieces ,one large piece and smaller L piece .when we tried to pick up the main piece of the desk ,the top of the desk was coming from the desk a little so i asked him "does this come apart?" he answered from sitting on a couch behind a dresser while texting and not caring what we were doing "yes, i took it apart to make 2 pieces" .so the store employee and myself carry the main piece out to the truck which was a major task as it was like 300lbs.The store employee and the man i hired started to lift the desk to the truck,as soon as we tried to lift it the entire top comes off the desk,so i moved it carefully to the side.On the next attempt to lift it into the truck the entire desk breaks into 3 pieces ,destroying the desk.He then claimed it was fixable even though all the screws ripped giant holes in the wood and that it was our fault it broke.Then he said the reason it broke in the first place is we didn't take the main desk apart ,the main desk is secured in 3 areas ,all three areas ripped from the desk.he then said they had to take it apart to get it into the store.This was the exact question i had asked him while we were in the back room ,if he was paying attention or even slightly cared id have my desk in my home now.He was quick to point out all sales were final which is real convenient for a store to treat customers in this manor ,taking out the drawers and scratching the desk a customer just purchased and not telling them the correct way to take it from the store because there's a no return policy .What really bothers me isn't the fact the owner was completely rude to my girlfriend and myself numerous times and could care less if i got my purchase out of the store but the fact i didn't get my desk.ILL NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE AGAIN. read more
