I have been coming here for years. I have brought many clients of my own to the owner. But the past five years, I feel the quality of work has really gone down, and the prices are always different and that is illegal when they put a price on their menu of services they are supposed to stick to that price. They cannot change my price on me every single time so I was having to get my lashes done once a month because I was in a bad accident and Kelly supposedly be my friend. She knew this and never once gave me a discount or anything for the referrals that I did give her. I had a problem constantly with the glue that she used. She is very cheap glue and very cheap products I had to purchase my own glue since I'm in the industry and have her use on me. Because she got to the point where she wouldn't even flush my eyes out with saline after the service. But the other day was so upsetting and I'm very saddened about it. I went in to get my lashes done and I was supposed to get a pedicure as well and I asked how much it was going to be. They quoted me $187 for a pedicure and to get my lashes done I've been coming there for 12 years $187. That's a little much Kelly. Right across the parking lot you can get a wonderful pedicure for $25 and it's very sanitary. I noticed that the place was always very filthy dirty and I didn't like that, but I like Kelly and I wanted to give her my business. But the prices were so high. I couldn't keep up with it. Or I would book for a lash extension fell and a pedicure but when my lashes were done, nobody had time to do my pedicure. There were several times I had pedicures done that I walked out of there with my toes bleeding because they cut my nails too short and they kept cutting my skin. These are issues and incidents that you make the customer happy by giving them a discount or a free service. And my 37 years of owning salons if anybody was ever unhappy with anything they would never pay for it and they would always be compensated. Because I want the business still I apologize and I still want their business. But with Kelly, she doesn't care. She will let that business walk right out and not bat an eye. After getting my lashes done the other day, I opened my eyes and she had a paper towel inside my eye, wiping the inside with a dry paper towel. My eyes were so sore and so irritated, and I kind of snapped at her and said what are you doing? I said you can't just stick a dry paper towel in my eye after you just did the service and she say laid back down. So then she put some type of ointment on it and then came the paper towel again. I wouldn't shock. I didn't know what to do so I needed my toenails done. I had a special occasion and of course they weren't going to discount me so she said you want your toenails polished that'll be $20. They sent me down in a dirty old chair, turned the cold water on sprayed my feet down. My feet were still black from my flip-flops. They quickly put a coat of nail polish on. And I left very mad. I immediately told Kelly I want my money back immediately. I told her I said I'm not messing around I want my money back. I said my eye is killing me. It swelled up and I'm going to have an infection. I went to the emergency room. They sent me to an optometrist. I had to spend $450 having the lashes removed. I ended up having pink eye. Of all things I end up walking out with pink eye as well. Kelly still hasn't called to apologize and it hurts. But I'm glad that I finally saw the customer service and how poor it really is. What they should've done in the situation as they should've reimbursed me my money back and I would've saved them a hell of a lot of trouble. I have worked with the state board of cosmetology for 37 years. I know them all very well and they don't particularly like nail salons because they are so filthy dirty. So they were more than thrilled to get my email my certified letter that was notarized my doctors papers and a paper for my lawyer. Kelly could've taken care of all of this by just giving me my money back. She could offered me a free pedicure and I would've been happy. But the problem is is that the Vietnamese people who run these nail salons are so cheap they can care less about customer service they can care less about doing the right thing. I don't know why the hell I was going to a nail place to get my lashes done all these years. I now will never step foot in that place again and I am suing expert nails for the problem they put me through. I highly recommend you stay away from this place. I should've checked the reviews on this place before deciding to walk in to get my nails done. Mind you I typically go to a place in Vista Golden Nails where they do a great job every time, but mind you, they're not open in Tuesdays. I was already in Vista so decided to give this place a try... big mistake. I walked in and there was no one at the front I could hear voices, and I said "Hello! Several times" Finally a girl asked "Do you have an appointment" and I said no. A guy came and asked me what service I wanted, and I clearly said that I wanted to remove the acrylics I had, and a gel manicure on my natural nails. I clearly stated I wanted to keep the length of my natural nails. Not saying anything at all he proceeds to remove the acrylics, and CUTS OFF my natural nails!!! I asked how come he had cut them so short? He started saying something in his native language, and another lady came out from the back, to tell me that he cut them, because my nails were "not good" I paid $10 for what was done, and walked out...NEVER AGAIN.... read more

I honestly do not have one single positive comment about this place. I popped in there this afternoon with a girlfriend to get a pedicure least to say it did not go very well! First off when I walked in I asked if they could give both of us a pedicure she nodded and said yes. Maybe I should've been a little more clear however, my friend got her pedicure while I sat and waited with cold water on my feet after my friends pedicure was done then that same lady came and did my pedicure while my friend waited no, not cool! The salon is filthy dirty they don't even meet the health requirements allocated by the health department as in using new and clean equipment.The lady used the same tools on me that she used on my friend! I have been coming to Expert Nails since the store opened in 2006. I continue to come time and time again because each time my nails turn out great! I admit their were times I went with friends to other nail places buy within a week I would be back here to have the fix what went wrong with the other place. I have not yet had the chance to get eye lash extentions but with how busy the clientele is for eye lash and the smiles on the various customers faces this is the spot to come. I love the art work they do as well on my nails. I am always asking for different original designs and each time I am impressed and continously complimented. My nails will last up to 4 weeks which in my line of work is unheard of. That reason and so many others is why I remain a loyal customer. read more

I think both girls do great eyelash extensions and the price is so reasonable compared to most other places. It's also so easy to make an appointment. I use to love coming here but after today I will never be back! I came in for a spa pedicure... Water was Luke warm she never said a word to me except for what color and cut my nails wayyyyyy to short they hurt now and they're crooked! The massage was a joke barely touched me felt like a feather dancing on my skin and lasted maybe 30 seconds each leg plus my paint job is horrible! The main reason I won't come here today is the way she sanitized the implements she used on me. I'm a hairstylist and I know how this is suppose to be done.. She poured rubbing alcohol on it wiped it down and put it back! Are you serious??? That's not how you sterilize metal objects! I'll be lucky if I don't get an infection seeing as other people's germs and what not are still on there! If I could give 0 stars I would! Stay away! read more
