To his credit, he recognized this was a gas leak issue outside his scope and had me call another company to handle that repair first. Once the leak was fixed, JJ came back to repair the igniters. Unfortunately, he installed them incorrectly, and now they continuously click-- a problem that didn't exist before he worked on the unit. Instead of fixing the original issue, I'm left with a new malfunction on my cooktop. I don't doubt he meant well, but this was a gas appliance repair he wasn't equiped to complete correctly, and I've now got to pay someone else to redo the work. I'd be cautious hiring him for anything involving gas cooktops or igniter installation.

If you don't like it buy a new oven." The oven is a fire hazard and I expressed this and he said "it's not my problem, that's the way the oven was built. Can't even buy parts for an oven that old." I replied, "I had this exact same oven in my last place and this didn't happen, it's not that old." He just stared at me. Then he spent less than 5 minutes looking at my dishwasher, which floods. He then stated, "I can't get your dishwasher to do what you say it's doing. I don't even think we could order parts for a dishwasher this old." Guy then stood there demanding payment of $75. He stated he refused to communicate with our warranty/claims people, write up a worksheet, or do anything without payment. This guy did absolutely NOTHING. He stated he does not bill his work and if he left without payment he would send me to collections. Needless to say I paid an old man for less than 15 minutes of work without an answer to the problems we're experiencing and not even a receipt showing work performed. I feel completely robbed.
