I asked him to look at our oven while there and he diagnosed quickly. Parts in a week, repaired immediately. Very nice man and knows his business! To his credit, he recognized this was a gas leak issue outside his scope and had me call another company to handle that repair first. Once the leak was fixed, JJ came back to repair the igniters. Unfortunately, he installed them incorrectly, and now they continuously click-- a problem that didn't exist before he worked on the unit. Instead of fixing the original issue, I'm left with a new malfunction on my cooktop. I don't doubt he meant well, but this was a gas appliance repair he wasn't equiped to complete correctly, and I've now got to pay someone else to redo the work. I'd be cautious hiring him for anything involving gas cooktops or igniter installation.
