I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER hire this man/company EVER! Stay far away…read more This man came into my house, spent less than 5 min looking at my oven without even turning it on and letting it heat up, just to stare at me and literally say, "that's the way the oven was built. If you don't like it buy a new oven." The oven is a fire hazard and I expressed this and he said "it's not my problem, that's the way the oven was built. Can't even buy parts for an oven that old." I replied, "I had this exact same oven in my last place and this didn't happen, it's not that old." He just stared at me. Then he spent less than 5 minutes looking at my dishwasher, which floods. He then stated, "I can't get your dishwasher to do what you say it's doing. I don't even think we could order parts for a dishwasher this old." Guy then stood there demanding payment of $75. He stated he refused to communicate with our warranty/claims people, write up a worksheet, or do anything without payment. This guy did absolutely NOTHING. He stated he does not bill his work and if he left without payment he would send me to collections. Needless to say I paid an old man for less than 15 minutes of work without an answer to the problems we're experiencing and not even a receipt showing work performed. I feel completely robbed.

I bought a great recumbent bike online but when it was assembled, it was a bit defective. The seat…read morewobbled sideways with no way to tighten it down because the four bolts attaching the assembly to the bike couldn't be tightened. In addition, a handlebar kept loosening itself so that there upward play AND there was another problem. The company who sells the bike is back east and had to find a repair company willing to make a house call. Enter The Fitness Techs. When I was contacted to schedule the appointment I was told that the tech would call to notify me he was on his way and that's exactly what happened. Brandon and Colby arrived and quickly took care of the requested warranty repairs for my recumbent bike. Both were friendly and professional. Brandon also advised me he'd repaired the seat as best he could. While he fixed the seat wobble, the frame itself was a little wobbly which he'd see a lot on recumbent bikes. I completely understood because I already figured that although the bike was the best in my price range, there were probably tradeoffs. Still, the repair went quickly and the work is solid. I'd call The Fitness Techs again to provide both in and out of warranty repairs for the bike.
