Jeff answered and, much to my surprise, he spent some time to give me free phone support to see if he could fix my issue without a service call! It is uncommon these days to find someone who will try to help you like this. His advice did help, and I was able to get my pool sweep working. I still had H2O Pool Care out to do some diagnostic work on my system. The technician who came out listed the issues and gave me quotes for additional work. I have to say, I was very impressed by how personable and knowledgeable Jeff and his staff were. I've used a few different pool companies over the years, but this is the best customer service I received yet.

I was a client of Bishop Pool Service for about five years. I inherited them from the previous…read moreowner, so they're well aware of my pool being a saltwater pool. That said, it was always a challenge to get them to use salt instead of chlorine when they would adjust chemicals and clean my pool. No matter how many times I asked, they would forget and continue to use chlorine, which unfortunately was too harsh on my toddler's skin. I made multiple calls about this and reminded the technicians multiple times about this, but I would still get a new technician every six to nine months, and I had to start all over again. The two straws that broke the camel's back were: 1. A 30% increase in monthly pricing 2. A new technician explaining that the reason they can't add salt is because it slows down his route I switched over to Ralphie's Pool Service and am already much, much happier. Ralphie's pricing is significantly less expensive, they bring their own pool salt, and they don't even charge you for the salt. Bishop also charges $300 to clean pool filters compared to $100 with Ralphies. Joel (my technician for the past year at Bishop) was awesome btw.

Dan is awesome! He made sure I always had a good understanding of what was happening with my pool,…read moreand what needed to be done. His value was amazing, as he never charged for anything more than the service call and the few chemicals I would need. As an example, another pool service company said "Standard Green to Clean, $600" but dan came out, inspected my filter, fixed my broken filter manifold for the cost of parts plus his service call. Then, he suggested if i want to get it clean faster I could just run over to the pool supply store and buy dose of Green to Clean for $40. I did just like he said. He's a straight shooter who's honesty saved be a bunch of money! Later, I had a bad algae bloom. Dan came straight out and tested my water, no nonsense, he got down to business. Found that the phosphates were high, told me exactly what treatment chemical I would need and how to use it, and of course offered to do it for me or let me do it and save the money. I let him do the treatment since he has the chemicals, and he's a good guy. My pool looks amazing now! Thanks Dan!!!!!!!

I write this review based on multiple projects Dan B. has assisted me with over the years; however, he most recently helped me on May 16, 2020 with an upgraded sweep and modification to my equipment. Dan B. is by far one of the most knowledgeable pool guys in the business. He is old school, and definitely will not overcharge or do things that are not necessary, which speaks to his integrity. He is also a chill guy that will share his knowledge with the homeowner (like me) so that I can learn and know about my pool. Dan B. and his crew, are extremely efficient and dependable, and have always kept appointments and arrived on time- even during COVID, and with safety pre-cautions followed. This review was not solicited, which speaks volumes, as I want to support Dan B. and his crew. His stellar knowledge, dependability and excellent customer service will serve you well. Shilo Quinn
