She actively listened to what was on my mind, went over everything I wanted to talk about, compared other models offering pros and cons for each, reassuring and knowledgeably addressing the issues. That is where the great service stopped. Delivery wasnt great and I've had to call a couple times just to make sure I was understanding the owners manual (not user friendly) but I got the feeling I was bothering the staff. now two weeks later I have a leak and the staff is down laying what it is. waiting back to hear when the technician will be out. I will update the review IF it deserves it.

The spa was delivered and very soon after, California Backyard customer service scheduled Mat to come out and replace the heater. He quickly installed the replacement part and then took time to answer all of our questions and educate us about the functionality and maintenance care needed for our new spa. When our furniture was delivered the delivery team made quick work of delivering and setting up everything. They asked me my preferences and arranged the furniture exactly how I wanted it. We also ordered a pizza oven and we were not sure how we would get it over the unpaved path to the backyard. We thought we might need to hire a crane, but these guys figured out a way and they did a great job! Juan, Brad, and Jessie are assets to the California Backyard team, I appreciate that they were willing to go the extra mile to make my delivery go so smooth.

My hot tub started pouring out water when a pipe broke…read more After I frantically hooked up the drain hose so my backyard wouldn't be flooded, I looked up who the local Jacuzzi dealer is. I called one of the California Backyard stores. They told me they don't have parts but gave me the phone number for the Warehouse as well as the email address. It was Friday afternoon on Valentine's day so I didn't expect to get a response back but I tried. I ended up sending pictures of the broken part to the email address. Within half an hour Breezy Martin responded asking me for my serial number of my tub so she could look up the exact part. When I emailed back, I also gave my phone number and shortly after she called me and told me they may actually have the part in stock, in spite of my tub being discontinued. She told me she would have to go into the warehouse to see if she could track it down. It would probably be about 20 minutes and they close in an hour and a half. Five minutes later, got back with the news they did indeed have the part. I was able to drive the 1/2 hour out to the warehouse, got the part and back on the road in time to avoid the holiday traffic. At the Warehouse, I was able to speak with the gentleman who does their service calls. He gave me a few pointers to pass on to my husband so my husband could do the repair himself. Our hot tub was back up and running the next day thanks to California Backyard and their amazing staff who went out of their way to help me!

    Where do I start…read more Chris helped me out of a very frustrating situation. After buying a spa online and getting ripped off, I had 4 days to buy a spa and get it delivered for my wife's birthday. I called a few other pre owned spa shops in the area with lackluster results; I also didn't have time to make it to the showroom which was a prerequisite for other places. Chris had the spa ready and was able to accommodate my strict timetable. He was really professional during the entire process. Delivery day is where NorCal Spas shined. I have an 1/8th mile driveway with a 12 percent downhill grade; most deliveries are impossible. Chris' guys didn't flinch got the spa to my pad and educated me about proper spa care along the way. The spa Chris sold me was a refurbished Leap Frog spa. All the replacement parts, filters, and cover was OEM Leap Frog parts which he spared no expense on. My spa looks brand new and was a fraction of the cost of a new spa from China. If you're in the market, don't buy new.Buy a refurbished spa from Chris.

Came with a new top, stairs, filter, and chemicals. Chris did a live demo at his warehouse and then sent an instructional video. He assisted with the tricky delivery I had with a narrow side yard and he and his men placed the Jacuzzi perfectly on my platform. His communication skills were fantastic. I can't say enough positive things about how he handled the entire deal. I highly recommend NorCal Spas.
