The staff isn't the most friendly, and sometimes they take a while to do a gel polish change. They do a good job with my manicures though and have lots of color options. Exotic nails is great! The salon is nicely decorated and very clean. The owner Ann is wonderful and accommodating. My nails always look great and I hardly have to wait around like other nail salons. Ann is also awesome at eyebrows...I was nervous at first because it was my first time getting them done there but ann assured me that she had been mastering the art of arches for 16 years! I've gone to Exotic Nails for gel mani/regular pedi a number of times and haven't had any issues. I've never made an appointment so if I had to wait (which it's never been that long), I expect to. The gel is not thick and uneven, which I've experienced elsewhere. The staff is friendly, talkative and if it takes longer than usual but the end result is great, fine by me. Would not come back here again. Service was rushed, nails misshapen, uneven paint job, and even after verifying the amount with me, I got overcharged by a dollar which I know is only a dollar but she clearly just gave herself extra tip. Absolutely terrible service very unprofessional I made an appointment for 4 o'clock for three people we showed up an hour early fine no problem when it finally hit 4 o'clock they said that they can only take one of us so I sat in the chair now I was in the book for a dip powder so the man proceeded with taking his drill to take the topcoat off my old powder that I had on as he's doing this I explain to him how I would like my nails shaped and how I would like them to look he told me no he wanted to do it a different way I said but that's not how I like them as soon as I said that he stopped the drill turned off his light and walked away and started to mumble things in his own language to the other workers the woman beside him then looked at me and said another woman was going to do my nails but the girl she suggested didn't look too happy so therefore I said thank you very much but we're all set and walked out that was just very unprofessional he started to take my topcoat off on one hand and then walked away because I didn't want to do they style he wanted so this is how he treats people if they don't do what he wants then he stops what he's doing and won't do it very rude read more

I had the worst experience here that ive ever had at a nail salon, or even anywhere for that matter. Ive never even written a review for anything in my life but since I had such a horrible experience here i just had to. Right away the lady was rushing me to pick out a color. Throughout the session i asked her to clean underneath my nails (which should be done anyways) and to cut them shorter. Both times she sighed as though i was being such a pain. I finally got so aggrivated that i asked her if i was taking too much of her time and she replied YES! Mind you there was only one other customer in there and three employees doing nothing. No one was waiting. Next she started speaking in chinese loudly to the lady next to us obviously talking about me, making me feel very uncomfortable. I told her i hadnt asked her for anything over the top to be done and she continued to talk back to me in such a rude manner. I honestly couldnt believe how she was treating me and finally asked for the tip i had given her back. Which she didnt even say thank you for in the first place! I told them it was the WORST customer service i had ever seen in my entire life and i meant it. No one said sorry in fact they all seemed to gang up on me, speaking in chinese to eachother. It was a disgustly horrible experience and i wish i could do something to get the company in trouble but they dont seem to care one bit. I work in a restaurant and whatever the customer asks for they get it right away no questions asked and with a smile. I cant stress enough how horrible this place is run. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Went to Exotic a couple weeks ago for a gel manicure and won't be returning. My nail guy seemed completely miserable to be doing my nails and was rude and unfriendly. When he first took the brush out of the bottle, I told him I wanted a lighter color, and he IGNORED me and proceeded to do my nails with the color anyway. The manicure itself was pretty bad- lots of bubbles in the paint and he didn't even paint the entire nail in some places. I am actually relieved to see it is finally peeling off... read more

Beyond disappointed! This place is close to home so I went a few times and the reason I stopped going was because the staff was very rude.. I recently needed a quick manicure so I went back after several months and now remember why I left.. Still very rude and yelled at me when I asked for the color black.. I'm not sure what salon doesn't carry this color! I agreed to another color and a day later it chipped! Normally I do shellac but needed a break... Def a cheaper than most place but quality and service are the worst.. There are better salons within a mile of this place.. read more

I came here for manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but it was okay. The manicure I got was the most painful manicure I have ever had in my life. I got gel nails done and when she was clipping my cuticles she kept getting my actual skin. I was bleeding and she poured something on it and it stung like nothing else. I got gel and putting my nails under the light burned all of these fresh cuts. The worst part is that in the end the polish looked thick, and uneven. This is likely because she kept stopping to answer the phone and check other clients in and help other people while my nails were half painted and drying. She would forget where she left off and that is likely why I got my cuticles cut so many times. I would go back for a pedicure but never another manicure. I am just praying that they actually sanitize the equipment because I am going to get some nasty infections. read more

Would not recommend, the technician cut 2 toes on my daughter and didn't even apologize, instead he painted designs on the two toes he cut and didn't do a very job with that either. Overall it was very disappointing, would not return. When I called the manager he offered a free pedicure coupon, I don't think so! read more

If I could have given zero stars I would have! Steer clear ... Brought my own polish and the girl handed me the wrong polish back completely zoning on which was mine. Polished my toes, forgot to put my sandals on, tried and smudged 4 toes. She then tried a second time! Finally I said stop and I will just go barefoot to the drying station. No tip for this one! Not the best selection of polish - but they do great work and are nice girls.

They were super fast and gave me a great pedi and a perfect french design, little pricey but worth it.

I used to go here all the time because I went with my friend who had been getting manicures here for years and I don't drive, so it was convenient to go with her. However, we both started to notice how mediocre their service was. First of all, no matter who did my nails, (I get acrylics) it was always EXTREMELY painful. I mean, I have several tattoos that were easier to sit through. Then there's the man who works there. As far as I know he's the only male employee. I used to end up stuck with him all the time and he would always try to pressure me into getting a gel manicure over my acrylics. When I say "pressure" I mean he would basically order me into it multiple times before he got around to painting my nails and I would have to stand my ground very firmly. Gels are about twice the price over acrylics as regular polish, so I think he was just looking for a bigger tip. On top of that, I went in once with a couple broken nails and he was clearly making fun of me to the girl sitting next to him while fixing my nails. I noticed another review where someone said they gave her a hard time for wanting black polish. This happened to me once too. They are also are a bit more expensive than most places in the area, which wouldn't be a problem, except for the abysmal service. Would NOT recommend. read more
