Auto Repair - Brian is our go to guy for any of our vehicle repairs. We only trust him & know he would never try to pull one over on us like some mechanics since we are "females who know nothing about cars". Prices are a lot better than other places when we compare too. Towing - Julie Ray Cyrus is always so helpful, kind, and she knows how to make you smile even when you are stressed out over car stuff when we've had to call this place to change a tire, get a jump, or a tow. Been going here for years & recommend them to everyone!! read more

Exit 7 Towing & Auto Repair - Auto Repair Near Me - Bristol, Virginia

Came highly recommended. Very fast service. Friendly and helpful! Up front about cost to tow a broken down car. Driver was very nice!

Not commercially competitive. They charge four times the rate of the competition when called to tow a vehicle by the police because of the collusion and lack of compitition. All the tow companies seem to do it, and because their "service" (if that's what you want to call car theft) is mandatory. Filed for a title on my vehicle, placed a hold on the title, lied about it, DMV lady had to call their person in Richmond to get it straightened out. Do business with this company at your own risk and if you want to support immoral people. read more

I've had some bad experiences with towing companies in the past, and in general have low expectations for them. However, our experience with Exit 7 and Jil blew our expecitations out of the water when our van broke down nearby on the way home from vacation with our two young kids. Jil was fast, professional, and made us all including the kids laugh in a stressful situation. We highly recommend utilizing their services (ask for Jil) if you ever need towing services! Thanks for all of your help! read more

Anybody thinking about taking your vehicle to Exit 7 for repair, I have one word for you.... DON'T!!! It's BAD...REAL BAD!!! Not only are they disrespectful, but they lie and cheat!!! read more

Daughter's car was towed here following an accident. Tow driver responded to the scene within about 20 minutes (5/5) however, the rest of the experience getting the car repaired was a colossal fail! Made several calls to the mechanic to check on the "progress" of the repairs only to hear that they "haven't gotten to it yet" and then were "waiting for a junkyard to return calls about a missing part. Never bothered to look online and just order the part directly. Finally, after more than a week of the car sitting without being touched, I ordered the part myself and delivered it to the garage. It was finally fixed 3 days later. When I got the car back, the inspection sticker had been removed, my daughter's flute and other items had been stolen. Manager stated that they don't lock the cars up and was unwilling to take ANY responsibility for the missing items. Will be following up with local law enforcement as well as small claims court to reimburse for my missing items. BEWARE! read more

Terrific care and service! My son's car broke down in the middle of a 19 hour drive home from school. We're lucky it happened in Bristol, VA. Danny and Brian at Exit 7 Towing and Recovery had the car towed to their shop. They got the needed part from Auto Zone, very close by, and then successfully repaired the car efficiently and cost effectively. What began as a potential nightmare situation, ended as a minimal inconvenience. If you have the misfortune of car trouble anywhere in the area, save yourself heartache and call these guys! read more

I was recently in need of help changing my tire while passing through Bristol, VA. I have AAA but was given the run around by them and after be stranded for over 3 hours I called Exit 7 to see if they could help. They were available and quoted me a prompt arrival time. Cody arrived on time and was very sympathetic to my situation. I was traveling with my three children alone and extremely frustrated with AAA as well as my inability to change the tire due a recent health issue. None the less, he was awesome and did a fabulous job despite my vehicle giving him a difficult time. I can't recommend them enough, thank you for helping us out! read more

The driver came out and was able to unlock the lug nut! She also arrived soon then was told! Professional and fast!! Thank you!! read more

Late in the afternoon on the Friday before the 2019 Memorial Weekend, my Acura MDX decided not to start. I was in a McDonald's parking lot, in Abingdon, VA and I was stranded! AAA sent Al, from Exit 7, to the rescue. When Al arrived and checked out the car, it still would not start, and Al told me I needed to find an auto repair shop, because we thought it was the starter that needed replacing and his company did not do that type of repair. After making sure I had his phone number in case I did need a tow later, Al left and I started searching for an Acura dealership. I found that there are no Acura dealers within a 50 mile radius of Abingdon, so I started searching for a local auto repair shop. After trying three different repair shops (none of them bothered to answer their phones), I took a chance and called Bill Gatton Honda in Bristol, Tennessee, about 25 miles away. It was now 6:45 p.m. and I was pretty sure I was going to be in that McDonald's parking lot for a long time! I lucked out in speaking with the Service Manager, Dave Bratton at Gatton Honda. Mr. Bratton said if i could get someone to tow me in, he would wait for my arrival. Bill Gatton Honda was closing in 15 minutes, at 7:00 p.m, and I was 24 miles away! I immediately called Al at Exit 7, and he agreed to tow my car to Bill Gatton Honda. Al arrived quickly, and again was very courteous and friendly, and while we were on our way to the Honda dealership, was so helpful in pointing out places to eat (I live in North Carolina and was visiting my sister in Rural Retreat, VA, 60 plus miles to the north of where Al was towing my car). Between Al of Exit 7 Towing and Auto, and Dave Bratton of Bill Gatton Honda, a potentially nasty situation, on a holiday weekend, turned out to be positive. I found a great Service Manager in a friendly Honda Dealership, and a terrific towing company. If I ever need a towing service in the Abingdon area again, I'll definitely be calling Exit 7! You should, too! read more
