Twice now I have made an appointment for service on my Toyota truck due to findings during the…read moreinspection process. The truck was purchased last year at Brattleboro Auto Mall. Was told I needed bearings, made them aware I was towing a camper to South Carolina the following week and could I drop it off and get a loaner car to go back and for to work for (for one day), as I live and work almost an hour from the Brattleboro Auto Mall. I arrived for the first app't to find they hadn't even scheduled it and there was not a loaner vehicle. Went through the whole scenario a second time - called ahead this time to make sure they had a loaner vehicle for me and they did not. A family member had to come pick me up after work and bring me to work the next morning as I had to get the repair work done. Very unprofessional, lack of communication or very poor customer service.

I recently purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra 1500HD as-is with a 5 years loan. They advised me to wait 30 days for the paperwork and registration in the mail, so that I could return for an inspection. Following receipt of the register, the inspection failed due to frame rust. I have called and left messages at times; yesterday they answered the phone but remained silent until the line was disconnected. Especially the general manager, Chad, it seems to be impossible to reach him. Buyer be fully aware of this before visit.

I called to see if there was anything they could do even a slight discount. The answer was no - along with giving me an estimate for even more than Midas gave me. A few months after that the explorer was having issues with acceleration. It would hit high rpm with normal acceleration & be jerky- I found out I needed a tune up and all spark plugs to be replaced- something I believed they said they did. I was also told I needed at least one of the catalytic converters replaced 1200(for one) & there was a hole in the flex pipe. I got the tune up, spark plugs replaced & the hole in the flex pipe repaired (as a more affordable option than replacing it) $850 -but have yet to get the catalytic converters replaced $$$ as emissions isn't due yet. A few months after that I found that the rear differential was leaking and it needed to be resealed $1250 & one of the wheel bearings needed to be replaced $500. The next project is figuring out what is wrong with the AC. When I bought it they said it just needed to be recharged and if I come back in they will recharge it for free which I did. Well that lasted a few months before it started blowing hot air again. Now that the summer heat is coming I need to fix the AC. Did they sell me a lemon? I think so.... Buy a used vehicle here at your own peril.
